Can the Eurom 1230S vacuum cleaner pick up water?

Yes, it is a dust and water vacuum cleaner. For wet vacuuming, remove the filter from around the floater. Never vacuum liquid with the filter in place.

How do I adjust the suction power?

You can adjust the airflow by sliding the sliding block on the handle up or down.

How do I use the power tool socket?

Press the AUTO button down fully to operate the vacuum cleaner and power the tool from the socket. The vacuum will turn off only when the tool is switched off. Press the T button for vacuum-only operation.

What is the maximum load for the tool socket?

The tool socket has a maximum load of 1800W. Do not exceed this limit.

How do I clean or replace the filters?

Tear off the mesh outside the HEPA filter, twist the locking knob anti-clockwise to remove the filters. Clean carefully and let air dry before putting back. Never use the machine without filters.

Can I use the vacuum cleaner as a blower?

Yes. Insert the hose connector into position ② for the blow function. Position ① is for suction.

How often should I empty the dust barrel?

Empty the dust barrel as soon as it is full. Release the locking blocks to open the upper housing and empty the barrel.

What should I do if foam or liquid comes out of the machine?

Turn off the machine immediately. This indicates the float system has activated. Let the machine cool down and check for blockages.

Can I use extension cords with this vacuum cleaner?

Only use extension cords with adequate current carrying capacity. Do not use outdoors.

How long can I operate the vacuum continuously?

Turn the unit off at least every 15 minutes for 1 minute to let the motor cool down. Do not use for more than 4 hours total per day.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Before use, check if the voltage complies with the specifications marked on the voltage label attached at the vacuum cleaner.
Before use, please check the vacuum cleaner, the power cable and plug for damage. Do not use a damaged machine!
Do not use extension cords with inadequate current carrying capacity.
Do not use outdoors!
Keep the machine away from the ovens, stoves, etc.
Do not use vacuum cleaner EUROM 1230S to pick up:

- Burning, smoking or hot objects, such as coal and hot ash, glowing cigarettes and match, etc.

- to large objects

- sharp objects like nails, parts of glass etc.

• volatile liquid, combustible gas, acids, explosive garbage, etc.

• dangerous materials like asbestos etc.

- flammable or combustible liquids such as gasoline. Don't use the cleaner in areas where they may be present.

Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair and anything that may reduce the airflow.

This vacuum cleaner creates suction and contains revolving brushroll. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.

➢ Do not wrest, tramp or haul the hose. Do not use the hose if it is broken.

Do not pull or carry the vacuum cleaner by its cord. Never close the door on the cord, or pull the cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not run the vacuum cleaner over the cord and don't walk over it. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.

Do not use without dust cup or filter in place.

▶ Turn off all controls before unplugging.

➢ Always switch off and unplug the vacuum cleaner when you stop the work, leave the room and before emptying the barrel or maintaining/cleaning the equipment.
Do not unplug by pulling the cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
Do not touch plug and/or cable with wet hands and don't use the vacuumcleaner without wearing shoes..
If there comes foam or liquid out of the machine when picking up water, please turn off the machine immediately.
➢ ENSURE you turn the unit off at very minimum every 15 minutes (for 1 minute) to let the motor cool down – failure to do so may cause motor failure!
➢ DO NOT use this unit for more than 4 hours (including rest breaks) on any given day.

OPERATION

For the vacuuming of liquid the motor (which is situated in the cap) is provided with a floater that is hanging under the motor, in the barrel. For the vacuuming of dry dirt and dust the motor is provided with a filter that the floater surrounds and in that way prevents that dust enters the mechanic system. Do you want to vacuum liquid, remove than the filter by opening the locking blocks, to lift and turn the cap and to open the locker of the filter by turning it anti-clockwise. Now you van remove the filter. Bring the cap back in its position and close the blocks.

Be careful!

Never vacuum dust without the filter around the floater! Never vacuum liquid with the filter around the floater!

If the dust barrel is full, please empty it as soon as possible

Put back the upper housing, fasten the locking panel

Warning: When the filters are obviously covered with dust or the suction decreases considerably,please clean it in time, for this can improve the working efficiency and extend the life time of thecleaner.Never use the machine without filters.
