FUNCTION DESCRIPTION, CONSTRUCTION
This device is a combination of microwave oven and grill. Both devices work according to similar principles – the radiation energy emitted by the device is absorbed by the food and heats it up. The difference is that the heat from the grill enters the food from the outside and is then transmitted to the inside. The microwaves heat the food in all parts from inside to outside at the same time. This leads to shorter cooking times when cooking with the microwave oven.
Therefore microwaves are dangerous to living organisms. They cook the inside before heat receptors in the skin register the danger. Due to these concerns microwave ovens are constructed with numerous safety features that shall never be disabled. As soon as the device is switched off, e.g. by opening the door (several safety switches), the radiation is switched off. There is no radiation left in the food or food containers.
You can use this device in microwave mode, grill mode or combined mode.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Installation
- Unpack the device and remove all packing materials. Plastic bags are not suitable as toys and children may choke on them. As they can be reused, do not dispose of immediately and store the packing material in a safe place.
- Check the device for any damage, such as misaligned or bent door, damaged door seals and sealing surface, broken or loose door hinges and latches and dents inside the cavity or on the door. If there is any damage, do not operate the device and contact your dealer or qualified service personnel.
- If the door or door seals are damaged, the device must not be operated until it has been repaired by a qualified person.
- Place this device on a flat, stable surface to hold its weight and the heaviest food likely to be cooked in the device.
- Do not use this device near heat sources, water or heavy moisture. Keep it away from combustible materials.
- For proper operation, use this device in well-ventilated areas. Keep a minimum free distance of 20cm above the device, 10cm at the back and 5cm at both sides. Do not cover or block any air openings. Do not remove the feet.
- Do not operate the device without roller support, glass tray, and shaft in their proper positions.
• Make sure that the power cord is not damaged. Keep it away from hot or sharp surfaces.
Grounding instructions
- This device must be grounded. This device is equipped with a cord having a grounding (earth) wire with a grounding plug. It must be plugged into a wall receptacle that is properly installed and grounded. In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding reduces risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current.
- It is recommended that a separate circuit serving only the oven be provided. Using a high voltage is dangerous and may result in a fire or other accident causing oven damage.
- Warning! Improper use of the grounding plug can result in a risk of electric shock.
Note:
- If you have any questions about the grounding or electrical instructions, consult a qualified electrician or service person.
- Neither the manufacturer nor the dealer can accept any liability for damage to the device or personal injury resulting from failure to observe the electrical connection procedures.
- The wires in this cable main are coloured in accordance with the following code: Green and Yellow = EARTH; Blue = NEUTRAL; Brown = LIVE
Advices for operation
- Put the food into a suitable container and place it onto the glass tray. Make sure that neither the food nor the container protrude the glass tray.
- Arrange food with the thickest parts towards the outside of the container.
• Cover foods while cooking. This prevents spattering and the food will be cooked evenly. - Keep a sufficient distance between food and the grill.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
ENGLISH
- Consider the cooking time. Cook for the shortest period of time indicated and add more as needed. Food severely overcooked may smoke or ignite.
- Turn foods over once during microwave cooking to quicken the cooking of such foods as chicken and hamburgers. Large items should be turned over at least once. You have to open the door and the cooking process will stop.
- Stir soups and rearrange other foods such as meatballs halfway through cooking from top to bottom and from the center of the container to the outside.
- It is recommended to use the combination mode for thick food pieces. The food will be cooked in microwave mode first and the grill mode makes it crisp. If you use the grill mode only, the food may char on the surface but is not completely cooked.
Utensils Guide
- The ideal material for microwaves utensils is transparent to microwaves. It allows energy to pass through the container and heat the food but not the container.
- Microwaves cannot penetrate metal. Metal utensils will become hot and sparks might occur. So metal utensils or dishes with metallic trim should not be used inside a microwave oven.
- Do not use recycled paper products when microwave cooking as they may contain small metal fragments which may cause sparks and/or fires. Remove wire twist-ties from paper or plastic bags before placing bag in oven.
- Use round and oval containers rather than square ones as food in corners tends to overcook.
- Plastic container can be used in microwave mode but not for grill or combined mode. Metal utensils can be used in grill mode but never in microwave or combined mode.
The list below is a general guide to help you select suitable utensils.

CLEANING AND CARE
- Pull the plug out of the wall outlet before every cleaning.
- Clean the device after every use to avoid mold and growth of bacteria as well as releasing of microwave energy.
- Clean the device regularly. Clean the door seals and all adjacent parts in order to avoid that fat or other food stains accumulate. When cleaning surfaces of door, door seal, cavity of oven, use only mild, non-abrasive soaps or detergents applied with a sponge or soft cloth. Never use solvents or abrasive cleaners.
- Clean the device regularly and remove any food stains. Failure to maintain the device in a clean condition could lead to deterioration of the surface that could adversely affect the life of the device. It may result in a hazardous situation.
- Attention! Ensure that the door sealing is always clean and the door is properly closed. Otherwise microwave energy might be released and may be a health risk.
- Do not use steam cleaners. The steam is released with high pressure and may cause condensation on electrical parts. This may cause electrical short circuit.
- Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or sharp metal scrapers to clean the oven door glass since they can scratch the surface, which may result in shattering of the glass.
- The outside surfaces should be cleaned with a damp cloth. Make sure no water will seep into the inside of the device. Clean the cavity, the door seals and adjacent parts regularly with a damp cloth. When food splatters or spilled liquids adhere to oven walls, wipe with a damp cloth.
- Make sure that the control panel does not become wet. Clean it with a soft, damp cloth. When cleaning the control panel, leave the door open to prevent the device from accidentally turning on.
- If steam accumulates inside or around the outside of the device, wipe off with a soft cloth. Oils or fat might evaporate at high temperatures and will condense as greasy oil film.
- It is occasionally necessary to remove the glass tray for cleaning. Wash the tray in warm sudsy water. The glass tray, the roller support and the metal rack are not dishwasher-safe.
- The roller support and oven floor should be cleaned regularly to avoid excessive noise. Simply wipe the bottom surface of the oven with mild detergent. When removing the roller support from cavity floor for cleaning, make sure to reinsert in the proper position. Clean the door, the glass window and the seals regularly with a damp cloth.
- Remove odors from your oven by combining a cup of water with the juice and skin of one lemon in a deep bowl suitable for microwave. Place it into the microwave and cook for 5 minutes. Wipe thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth.
- When it becomes necessary to replace the oven light, consult a dealer to have it replaced.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
If the microwave oven fails to operate, check the following:
- Check to ensure that the device is plugged in securely. If it is not, remove the plug from the outlet, wait 10 seconds, and plug it in again.
- Check for a blown circuit fuse or a tripped main circuit breaker. If these seem to be operating properly, test the outlet with another device.
- Ensure that the time is set with the time switch.
- Check to ensure that the oven door is securely closed engaging the door safety lock system.
If the microwave oven still malfunctions, contact the customer service. Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself.
