Frequently Asked Questions - MR601 Maestro

How do I clean the dust container?
Switch off and unplug the vacuum cleaner. Release the container from the clips, press the side button to empty debris. Rinse with water, let dry completely, then reinstall until it clicks.
How often should I clean the filters?
Clean the container filter and engine protection filter whenever you empty the dust container. The HEPA filter should be cleaned periodically; wash under running water without soap. Replace if damaged or heavily soiled.
Why is the suction power weak?
Possible causes: the airflow regulator on the hose handle is open, the power regulator is set too low, the hose or nozzle is blocked, the dust container is full, or the filters are dirty. Check and resolve accordingly.
What should I NOT vacuum with this cleaner?
Do not vacuum: persons, animals, plants, water or liquids, hot ash, burning items, toner, pointed objects, rubble, plaster, fine dust, or highly flammable materials. This could cause injury or damage.
How do I use the airflow regulator on the hose handle?
Pull the regulator upwards to open it (reducing suction for light materials like curtains) or press down to close it (increasing suction for hard floors). Mid-position is for soft furniture and carpets.
How does the cord rewinder work?
After use, press the cord reel button. Gently hold the cord while it rewinds to prevent the plug from hitting the body. If it stops, pull out slightly and press again. Do not pull beyond the red mark.
Can I use the vacuum cleaner without filters?
No, never operate without filters or with dirty filters. This can damage the motor. Always ensure all filters are properly installed and clean.
How should I store the vacuum cleaner?
Unplug and allow moving parts to stop. Clean the appliance, then store in a cool, dry, clean place out of reach of children and people with limited abilities.
What do the yellow and red marks on the power cord mean?
The yellow mark indicates the recommended working length. Do not pull the cord beyond the red mark, as that is the maximum length. If the cord is at red, press the rewind button until it retracts to yellow.
How do I assemble the vacuum cleaner for first use?
Remove packaging, unwind the cord completely. Insert the hose connector into the front hole. Attach the extension tube to the hose handle, then adjust the telescopic tube length. Attach the desired nozzle.
