What type of soap should I use in the ECG BD 351 Foam dispenser?

Use liquid hand soap or foam soap specifically designed for foam dispensers. Avoid thick or oily soaps that may clog the pump.

How do I replace the batteries?

Open the battery compartment located at the bottom or back of the dispenser. Insert 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the cover securely.

Why is my dispenser not dispensing foam?

Check that batteries are installed correctly and have charge. Ensure the soap reservoir is not empty. Clean the nozzle and sensor area with a damp cloth.

How do I clean the foam soap dispenser?

Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water. For stubborn residue, use mild soapy water.

Can I mount the dispenser on the wall?

Yes, the dispenser can be wall-mounted using the provided mounting bracket or screws. Ensure it is securely attached and level.

How much soap does the reservoir hold?

The reservoir holds approximately 500 ml of liquid soap, suitable for frequent use in households or offices.

What does the LED indicator mean?

A steady green light indicates normal operation. A flashing red or orange light typically signals low battery or low soap level. Refer to the manual for specific codes.

Can I use the dispenser with hand sanitizer?

It is not recommended as sanitizers may contain alcohol or thickeners that can damage the pump or sensor. Use only liquid hand soap.

How do I adjust the amount of foam dispensed?

The dispenser usually has a fixed dose per activation. Some models may have a sensor distance adjustment to control sensitivity, but foam volume is preset.

What should I do if the sensor is not responding?

First, check if the front sensor is clean and unobstructed. Replace batteries if needed. If problem persists, consult the manual or contact customer support.

USER MANUAL BD 351 Foam ECG

Read carefully and save for future use!

The device may only be used as described in this manual. Keep this manual for future reference. If you pass the device to another person, please add this manual.

The device is intended exclusively for dosing foaming soap.

The device is intended for home use and must not be used for commercial purposes. The device may be used only indoors.

Children shall not play with the appliance. Take extra care with children handling the device to prevent the internal use of foam added to the device (e.g. contact with eyes or mouth). In such event, rinse the affected area with water and to be sure, contact a physician. Children may not play with the packaging material. Risk of suffocation.

Never place the device on hot surfaces (e.g. hot plates) or near sources of heat or naked flames. Do not leave it in direct sunlight.

Care instructions for automatic foaming soap dispenser

In order for the device to serve you well and for a long time, it needs to be adequately cared for. Regular maintenance greatly extends the service life of the machine. Clean the device in the following cases:

• If it has not been used for a long time and liquid soap has solidified inside the dispenser (no foam comes out of the device)
• If foam is too thick or thin
• At least every 3 months

Cleaning procedure

1. Unscrew the liquid container.
2. Unscrew the lid of the liquid container and pour warm water into the container (max. 40 °C).
3. Put the container back into the dispenser and start the foaming soap dispensing. Repeat approximately 15 times. The water gradually flows through the dispenser and cleans it.

OPERATING GUIDE

Unscrew the liquid container

1. Rotate the container about 45^ and remove it.
2. Unscrew the cap.

Mix the right soap/water ratio

Determine the correct ratio based on the density of liquid soap. Shake container vigorously.

Changing batteries

Turn off the dispenser. Press to release the battery compartment and remove it. Insert 3 AA batteries into the battery compartment. Keep proper polarity of the batteries. Only use LR6 alkaline batteries.

Warning: Do not use R6P or R6 batteries.

Instructions for use

The top touch button is used to control the dispenser. Its colour indicates the operating status of the dispenser.

Lights blue: The dispenser is on. The amount of foam per batch corresponds to about 0.7 g.

Lights white: The dispenser is on. The amount of foam per batch corresponds to about 1.4 g.

Lights red: The batteries are empty. Flashes red: The dispenser is shutting down.

WARNING:

Keep the touch button dry, do not touch it with wet hands. You could damage it. When using for the first time, it is necessary to activate the soap dispenser several time using the motion sensor so that the soap enters the mechanism.

Wall mount

The soap dispenser can be glued to the wall with a wall mount. The wall mount is included.

CAUTION

Never tilt or place the soap dispenser horizontally. Danger of damage.
