How do I pair the speaker with my phone via Bluetooth?

Turn on the speaker by holding the power button. The LED will flash blue, indicating pairing mode. On your phone, enable Bluetooth and search for devices. Select 'LAMAX Beat SO-1' and pair. If asked for a passcode, enter '0000'.

Can I use NFC to pair?

Yes, if your device supports NFC. Activate NFC on your device and hold it close to the NFC logo on the speaker to pair automatically.

How do I charge the speaker?

Connect the micro USB cable to the speaker's DC IN port and the other end to a 5V USB charger or computer. The red LED lights up while charging and turns green when fully charged. Charging takes about 4-5 hours.

Is the speaker waterproof?

The speaker has an IP56 rating, meaning it is resistant to dust and water splashes. Do not immerse it in water.

How do I switch to S-Bass mode?

Press the S-Bass / Normal button to toggle between S-Bass (enhanced bass) and Normal (balanced sound) equalization.

Can I pair two speakers together?

Yes, with TWS. Turn on both speakers, then press and hold the S-Bass button on one for 2 seconds until a beep sounds. They will pair with each other automatically. Ensure they are not connected to any media device before pairing.

How do I control volume and tracks?

Rotate the knob clockwise to increase volume, anticlockwise to decrease. Swipe your finger across the knob from left to right for next track, right to left for previous track. Press the knob to play/pause.

Can I connect using the AUX cable?

Yes, connect a 3.5 mm audio cable to the AUX IN port. The green LED lights up. Note that track controls do not work in AUX mode; use your device to control playback.

How do I answer calls hands-free?

When a call comes in, press the knob to answer. Press again to end. To reject an incoming call, press the knob twice.

What should I do if the speaker is not charging?

Check that the USB cable is properly connected and the charger is working. Use only 5V chargers. If the problem persists, try a different cable or charger. Do not charge unattended.

Controls

On / Off	Hold down 🔒 to turn the speaker on or off.
Increase / Decrease Volume	Rotate 🔒 clockwise to increase the volume. Rotate anticlockwise to decrease the volume.
Next / Previous Track	Swipe your finger across 🔒 from left to right to go to the next track. Swipe your finger across 🔒 from right to left to go to the previous track.
Play / Pause	Press 🔒 to stop playback. Press again to restart.
Handsfree Press	🔒 to answer an incoming call. Press again to end the call. Press 🔒 twice to reject an incoming call.
Equalization	Press S-Bass / Normal button to change the equalization. S-Bass mode enhances the bass, Normal mode sets a balanced sound.

LED Status Indicators

Bluetooth Connection	Blue LED ring flashes when speaker is in pairing mode. Blue LED ring lights up when the speaker is paired.

Connecting via Bluetooth

Turn on the speaker by holding ☑the blue LED ring flashes and the speaker is now in pairing mode. Activate Bluetooth connectivity on your phone or other device. In the Bluetooth settings of your device, search for a new Bluetooth device. Locate “LAMAX Beat SO-1” and pair with it. If you need to enter a pairing passcode code, enter “0000” and confirm. When successfully paired, the track will be heard on the speaker and the LED ring will turn blue. If your phone or other device uses NFC technology, simply pair the speaker by activating NFC on your device and hold it close to ☑on the speaker.

Connecting via Audio Input

Speaker can be connected via the audio input, labelled AUX IN, using an audio cable with a 3.5 mm jack (cable included). When the speaker is connected, the green LED lights up. The speaker's track controls do not function when connected through the AUX input.

TWS

Turn on the two speakers you want to pair with each other. Press and hold the S-BASS / NORMAL button for 2 seconds. A beep sounds. When the speakers are paired, the beep sounds again. When pairing with each other, the speakers must not be connected to the media device.

Charging

When the battery level is below 10% , the speaker emits a short beep. To charge the speaker, connect the micro USB cable (included) into the charging port labelled DC IN. Connect the other end of the cable to a computer or USB charger. The red LED lights up when charging. The green LED lights up when fully charged. Charging takes approximately 4-5 hours. Do not charge unattended. Use only 5V chargers or USB ports. Higher voltage may damage the device.

Water Resistance

The speaker is resistant to water penetration in accordance with the IP56 rating. Do not immerse speaker in water.
