How to set up the EVOLVEO MultiMedia Stick Y2?

Connect the device to your TV via HDMI, power it using the Micro USB cable (5V/1A), and turn on the TV. The device will boot to the main menu. Use the remote control or IR sensor to navigate. Press the + button to add favorite apps.

How to connect to Wi-Fi?

Go to Settings > Network & Internet, turn on Wi-Fi, select your network SSID, and enter the password. Press Connect.

How to install apps?

From the main menu, click + to add a new shortcut. To install new apps, go to the APP list, select an app, and confirm installation. Long press on a shortcut to delete it.

How to use DLNA?

Open the Media Center app from the Apps list. Enable DLNA DMP and DLNA DMR. On your Android mobile device, enable DLNA. Start playing media, and you can cast it to the stick.

How to change the language?

Go to Settings > Device Preferences > Language, select your language, and press OK to save.

How to update the system?

Go to Settings > System Upgrade. Select Local Update, choose the update file from a USB drive or TF card. Select Wipe Data and Wipe Media for a clean update, then press Update.

Why is the device not turning on?

Ensure the power cable is connected to a 5V/1A adapter and the HDMI is properly inserted. Check if the TV input is set to the correct HDMI port. Try a different power source or USB cable.

How to reset the EVOLVEO MultiMedia Stick Y2?

Locate the RESET key near the ports. Use a pin to press and hold it for 5 seconds while the device is powered on. This will restore factory settings.

Can I use a USB hub?

The device has one USB 3.0 port. You can use a powered USB hub to connect multiple devices, but ensure the total power does not exceed the adapter's capacity.

What to do if the remote control stops working?

Check the batteries. Make sure the IR sensor cable is connected to the stick and the sensor has a clear line of sight. Try resetting the remote by removing batteries for 30 seconds.

Initial configuration

• Power on, enter into main menu.
- Click + to install or delete your favourite app.
- Click 📋 APP, enter into the settings interface.
- Click ⚙ SETTINGS, enter into the whole applications' interface.

Application

Press “+” to add your favourite apps as a new shortcut, long press can delete the shortcut in your favourite app.

DLNA

• Click "Media Center" in Apps list.
• Turn on DLNA DMP" and "DLNA DMR".
• Turn on DLNA in your android mobile device.
• Start playing the video, music and photo in your android mobile device.

Settings

You can use setting to re-configure your network, display, language and etc.

Wi-Fi Network Setting

In settings select Network & Internet, turn on Wi-Fi. Choose your SSID network name and press connect.

Sound settings

The standard setting is switch on.

Click "Surround sound", there are (Auto/Always/Never) 3 options for choosing.

Time settings / Language

Set date and time.

Set time zone

Language settings

In settings click “Device preferences”, select the language, click “ok” to save and back.

Keyboard & Auto fill

Click "Input Settings", input method from the list, click "OK" to save and back, then you can use new input method.

System upgrade

• Select "Setting" in main menu, click "System Upgrade".
• Select "Local Update", click "OK" to enter.
• Click "Select" button, select the new software, press "OK" to back.
• Select "Wipe Data" and "Wipe Media".
• Click "Update" to start update.
