TIPS FOR USE
• We do not recommend putting hot food or fluids that are still evaporating inside the refrigerator. It will increase the humidity inside the refrigerator.
- Food intended for refrigerating should be wrapped or covered. It is recommended to use plastic bags, kitchen foil or food paper to wrap food. Liquids should be stored in closed containers or bottles.
- It is also not recommended to put beverages in glass bottles in the freezer, glass can easily rupture due to low temperatures inside the freezer.
- Each time you open the appliance door, a warm air gets inside. That creates an under pressure inside the appliance. It may take a few moments before the pressure gets equalised and it will be possible to open the door easily.
Please follow the instructions below to avoid degrading of stored food.
- Do not open the refrigerator door for longer than necessary, as the supply of warm air significantly increases the temperature inside the appliance.
- Clean surfaces that may be in contact with food and drainage channels regularly.
- Fresh meat and fish should be stored in a suitable place to avoid contact with other foods.

- The freezer is used for freezing food, storing deep-frozen food and making ice cubes. You can use it to store food for a long time.
- The freezer is suitable for keeping food fresh for a long time. When storing meat, it is recommended to cut the meat into pieces that can be easily removed and to mark the date of freezing in order to prevent the shelf life of the food being exceeded.
Freezer chamber drawer
- In the upper drawer of the freezer you can freeze and store large foods, the lower drawer is mainly used for storing already frozen food.
CAUTION
- Avoid direct contact of foods, especially fatty ones, which are stored in the refrigerator, with the refrigerator inner lining. If the interior is contaminated by stains of oil or greasy soups for a long time, it must be cleaned immediately, otherwise there is a risk of degradation of the lining material and, ultimately, a risk of cracking of the lining.

RECOMMENDATIONS AND TIPS
Freezing and storing foods in the freezer compartment
• to preserve deep frozen foods.
• to make ice cubes.
• to freeze food.
When buying frozen foods
• The packaging must not be damaged.
- Use according to the "best before date / use by date on packaging".
- If possible, transport deep-frozen foods in an insulated bag as quickly as possible and place them in the freezer.
Storage of frozen foods
Store at -18 °C or below. Do not open the door of the freezer compartment unnecessarily.
Freezing fresh foods
Freeze only fresh and undamaged foods.
To preserve the best possible nutritional value, taste and colour, vegetables should be blanched before freezing.
Aubergines, peppers, courgettes and asparagus do not require blanching.
The following foods are suitable for freezing:
Pies and pastries, fish and seafood, meat, game meat, poultry, vegetables, fruits, herbs, shell-less eggs, dairy products, such as cheese and butter, prepared meals and leftovers, such as soups, stews, cooked meat and fish, potato dishes, souffles and desserts.
The following foods are not suitable for freezing:
Types of vegetables that are usually consumed raw, such as lettuce or radishes, shell eggs, grapes, whole apples, pears and peaches, hard-boiled eggs, yoghurt, curdled milk, sour cream and mayonnaise.
Recommended storage times for frozen foods in the freezer compartment
These times vary depending on the type of food. Foods that you freeze can be preserved for 1 to 12 months (at least at -18°C).
| Food Storage time | |
| Bacon, milk 1 month | |
| Bread, ice-cream, sausages, pies, pre-prepared shellfish, fatty fish 2 months | |
| Low fat fish, crustaceans, pizza, mince pies and scones 3 months | |
| Ham, pies, biscuits, beef and lamb chops, poultry pieces 4 months | |
| Butter, vegetables (blanched), whole eggs and yolks, cooked crayfish, minced meat (raw), pork (raw) | 6 months |
| Fruits (dried or as a syrup), egg whites, beef (raw), whole chicken, lamb (raw), fruit pies | 12 months |
Energy saving tips
When defrosting frozen foods, you can put them in the refrigeration chamber, which will help in cooling the refrigeration chamber.
Make sure that the temperature sensor is not covered or blocked by foods and place the foods at a sufficient distance from it.
Storage of foods
Your appliance is equipped with the accessories as shown in the picture above. These instructions will help you to correctly store food. The glass shelves can be removed if necessary.
Dairy foods and eggs
Most packaged dairy foods have a "best before date / use by date on packaging".
Store them in the refrigerator compartment and use them within the specified period.
Butter can be contaminated by strongly flavoured foods, so it is best to store it in a sealed container.
Eggs should be stored in the refrigerator compartment.
Red meat
Place the fresh red meat on a plate and cover it loosely with wax paper, plastic packaging or foil.
Store cooked and raw meat on separate plates. This will prevent contamination of the cooked product with the juices from the raw meat.
Poultry
Fresh whole poultry should be rinsed inside and out with cold running water, dried and placed on a plate. Cover it loosely with plastic packaging or foil.
Poultry cuts should also be stored in this way. Whole poultry should never be stuffed before cooking, otherwise there is a risk of food poisoning.
Fish and seafood
Whole fish and fillets should be processed on the day of purchase. It is not required to refrigerate the additional purchase on a plate loosely covered with plastic, waxed paper or foil.
If you plan to store fish overnight or longer, take special care to select very fresh fish.
Whole fish should be rinsed with cold water to remove loose scales and debris and then dried with paper towels. Place whole fish or fillets in a sealed plastic bag.
Always keep shellfish in a cool place. Consume it within 1-2 days.
Pre-cooked foods and leftovers
These should be stored in suitable containers with covers in order to prevent the food from drying out. Store for 1-2 days only. Reheat leftovers only once and only until steam begins to rise from the food.
Vegetable drawer
The vegetable drawer is the optimal place to store fresh fruits and vegetables.
Be careful not to store these fruits at temperatures below 6 °C for long periods of time: Citrus fruits, melons, pineapple, papayas, passion fruit, cucumber, peppers, tomatoes.
Undesirable changes occur at low temperatures, such as flesh softening, browning or accelerated decay.
Do not refrigerate avocados (until ripe), bananas and mangoes.
