- Charging the rechargeable battery with solar cell
The solar cell installed in the article converts sunlight into electrical energy and stores it in the battery.
Note: In constant sunlight (depending on the season), drained battery should take two to ten days to be fully charged.
The charging time of the battery when the solar cell 9 is used depends on the intensity of the sunlight and the angle of incidence of the light on the solar cell 9. Place the solar cell 9 as perpendicular as possible to the angle of incidence of the light. In this way you will receive the highest light levels.
☐ Do not set the solar lamp up under bushes, trees, porches, etc., as this will reduce the amount of sunlight it receives.
☐ Position the solar lamp in such a way that the solar cell 9 is not covered or in shadow.
It is suggested to detach the handle from the bracket of the container (see Fig. A) so that the solar cell is not covered.
Note: The light-on time is approx. 0.5 hours (for high light mode) and 1.5 hours (for low light mode), assuming the battery is charged via solar cell for about 6 hours.
