How do I connect CineEye to my mobile device?

Open the CineEye app, go to WiFi Settings, connect to the network named CineEye_XXXX (default password: 12345678), then tap "Into the Main" and press the power icon to start monitoring. Ensure mobile data is turned off on some phones.

How long does the battery last?

The built-in 3500 mAh battery provides up to 3.5 hours of operation when connected to one mobile device.

Can I use CineEye while charging?

Yes, CineEye supports pass-through charging. Use a 5V/2A charger or power bank via the USB-C port.

What video formats are supported?

CineEye accepts HDMI input at 1080p, 720p, and 480p with frame rates from 23.98 to 60 fps (including 24, 25, 29.97, 30, 50, 59.94, 60).

What is the maximum transmission range?

In open areas with no obstructions or interference, the range is up to 100 meters (328 feet).

How many devices can connect simultaneously?

Up to 3 mobile devices (iOS or Android) can receive the video stream at the same time.

How do I perform a factory reset?

Turn on the CineEye, then use a small tool to press the Reset button for 3 seconds. The status LED will flash red during reset.

What should I do if the app shows no image?

1) Verify the HDMI cable is securely connected. 2) Ensure the video source is outputting a supported resolution. 3) Check that your mobile device is connected to CineEye WiFi and turn off mobile data if necessary. 4) Restart the app or the device.

Why is the status LED red?

A solid red status LED indicates no valid video input. Check your HDMI connection and camera output. Flashing red means the device is resetting.

Introduction

CineEye is a revolutionary product, different from traditional video transmitters, the CineEye use the mobile devices as receiver and monitor.

CineEye can accept 1080p@60fps video input and transmit the video to the mobile devices through 5G WiFi, it offers real-time monitoring on up to 3 mobile devices at very low latency and the transmission range up to 100 meters in open areas.

As a transmission solution targeted for mobile devices, CineEye supports both Android & iOS platforms with state-of-the-art monitoring app that can turn your mobile devices into professional monitors, it offers many assisting features often seen on high-end monitors.

Charging

• While charging, the green led will blinking. When the battery is fully charged the green led will turn into solid.
  • The CineEye support charging when in use.
• Please use 5V/2A charger or power bank for charging.
• For safety, charging will stop if the battery temperature higher than 45°C.

Connect the HDMI output from your video source to the HDMI input connector.

04 Power On/Off and Reset

Power On

Press the power button for 1 second.

Power Off

1. Press the power button for 1 second.
2. No HDMI video stream input more than 10 minutes.
3. Out of battery.

Reset

Turn on the CineEye, then use a tiny tool to press the reset button for 3 second to perform complete factory reset.

05 APP

1. Launch the CineEye APP.Click "WiFi Setting" to open the WLAN page of the mobile devices, search and connect the CineEye WiFi (Name Format:CineEye_XXXX.initial password:12345678)
2. Back to the CineEye page, click "Into the Main"

1. Click ⏻ to start monitoring.

Some models of smart phones may need to turn off Mobile Data connection, or the CineEye APP cannot receive and display the image.
