Frequently Asked Questions - TK 2030 T ECG

What are the power levels of the TK 2030 T convector?
The convector has two power levels: 1200 W (setting I) and 2000 W (setting II). It also offers TURBO modes with fan at both power levels, indicated by ^* I and ^* II.
Can I use the convector in a bathroom?
No, the convector must not be used close to a bathtub, shower, or pool. It is not designed for wet environments and should be placed away from water sources to avoid electric shock.
How do I clean the convector?
Always unplug the convector and let it cool completely. Clean the outer surface with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or sharp objects, as they may damage the surface.
What should I do if the convector automatically shuts off?
This indicates overheating protection has activated. Unplug the convector and let it cool for about 15 minutes. Then plug it back in and check that ventilation openings are not covered and the thermostat is set correctly.
Can I cover the convector?
No, never cover the convector. Covering can cause overheating and fire risk. Keep all vents unobstructed and maintain at least 30 cm clearance from surrounding objects.
Is it safe to leave the convector unattended?
Do not leave the convector with the power cord inserted unsupervised. Always unplug when not in use, especially when moving it or before cleaning.
How do I install the base?
Turn the convector upside down. Align the holes in the convector with the holes in the base parts. Tighten the four screws carefully and ensure the convector is stable before use. Never operate without the base attached.
What is the TURBO function?
The TURBO function uses the built-in fan together with the heating elements to circulate warm air faster. It is available at both power levels (1200 W and 2000 W) and helps heat the room more quickly.
What voltage does the convector require?
The converter operates at 220–240 V~ 50 Hz. Ensure your outlet voltage matches this and the socket is correctly grounded according to local electrical codes.
How should I dispose of the convector at the end of its life?
Do not dispose of it with household waste. Recycle it at designated collection points for electrical and electronic equipment. This helps protect the environment and human health.

USING THE APPLIANCE

Note: When first switched on or switched on after a long period of inactivity, the heaters may emit odor or smoke. This is normal and will fade away in a short while.

This convector uses convection heating technology with temperature control. It is also equipped with the function TURBO (use of heating together with a fan) Thermostat control (A) is used to regulate temperature.

Turn the power control to set the required level: You can use the function TURBO to heat the room faster.

With the power control (B) you can set:

2 power levels:

I = 1200 W

II = 2000 W

2 power levels using the fan (TURBO):

^* =1200W

^* II = 2000 W

Any handling of the device can be done only when it is turned off using the main switch and unplugged from the outlet.

Turning off the convector

First, set the thermostat control to position „MIN" and switch to position "0". Then always unplug the power cable from the outlet!

The device shall only be handled when turned off via the switches and disconnected from the network outlet.

Protection against overheating

The internal thermal fuse protects the heater from overheating and automatically shuts down. In this case the operating indicator light turns off.

If the device shuts itself, unplug the power cable from the outlet. If it cools (in about 15 minutes), the device is again ready for use. Plug the power cable back into the socket.

If the situation repeats itself, check first, if the thermostat control is properly set and if the ventilation openings of the device are not covered.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Always unplug the power cable from the outlet and wait until the device entirely cools. Clean the outer surface of the convector with a damp cloth. Do not use for cleaning sharp objects or abrasive cleaners, you could damage the surface of the convector.

You can store the convector only after you properly turn off the main switch, disconnect it from the electrical outlet and let it cool completely.

CONVECTOR STORAGE

If you do not plan to use the appliance for a longer period of time, it should be placed in a clean and dry location protected against dust.
