Parts of the appliance Grill plate V spring Heater Control knob Power light Heat reflecting driptray Handle Use Base FeetThis appliance is designed for both indoor and outdoor use. Plug the appliance to a household outlet of 230V.
- Cover the bottom with aluminium foil for easier cleaning with the glossy side up. Note! Never put foil on the heater or grid. If you wish you can pour water in the base (max 2 litre), add more water if necessary. This reduces smoke and makes the cleaning easier but reduces the grilleffect some. Always unplug the unit when you add water. Place the driptray on the water.
- Put the heater and grid into place. There is a protection device in the heater assembly to ensure that the grill operates only when the heater assembly is seated properly on the base. Check the setting of the heater assembly if the grill does not operate.
- Never use the grill without the driptray.
- Plug the appliance.

- Turn the control knob clockwise
. The heater begins to heat up. when it has reached the right the temperature has dropped below a maximum setting if you want conti- - Turn the knob to to the desired setting. Preheat the grill for 10 minutes.
- Put the food directly on the grill plate. You will get the best result if the food is not thicker than 2,5 cm. During grilling, turn the food from time to time.
- When the grilling is finished, turn the control knob to min-setting. Un - plug the appliance after use.
Cleaning instructions
- Always unplug the appliance and let it cool down sufficiently before cleaning.
- Release the heater/control knob from the base.
- Do not immerse the heater, control knob or cordset in water or any other liquid.
- Clean the base with a dam cloth and mild detergent. Dry carefully. Clean the grid with warm water, detergent and a brush.
- Soak the driptray before cleaning. Clean in hot water and detergent.
- The heather doesn't not need to be cleaned. You can dry it off with a cloth after cooling.
- Never use chemicals and abrasive detergents.
Grilling tips
- Let deep frozen food thaw before grilling.
- Never use the same cutlery for raw and grilled food.
- The food should be max 2,5 cm thick for best result.
- For best result, we recommend that you marinate the food before grilling.
Time table
- Chicken and turkey shall be completely done but not dry. Well hung fil - let can be somewhat red inside, then the meat is still juicy and tender. Pork should always be well done. Check the meat by cutting in it.
- Time and choice of heat setting depends on the size of the food, quality and taste. The temperature of the environment also affects the grilling time. The following periods are only recommendations.

Recipes
The grilling times are approximate.
Grilled vegetables
4 potatoes
500 g zucchini
1 big union
4 carrots
salt
pepper
2 table spoons oil or melted butter
Preheat the grill 10 minutes. Peel the potatoes, carrots and union. Half the potatoes and cut the rest of the vegetables in pieces. Flavour with pepper and salt and grease with oil or butter.
Grill for 15-30 minutes to the vegetables are ready. Turn the vegetables during the grilling.
Chicken in honey
500 g chicken fillet
salt
pepper
Marinade
3 tablespoons oil
1 tablespoon soya
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons lemon juice
Cut the fillet in equal sizes. Prepare the marinade in a bowl. Mix the chicken with the marinade. Let it stand for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator.
Thread the chicken on wet wooden skewers. Grill for ca 10 minutes. The honey will quickly give colour. Turn the skewers often. Flavour with salt and pepper.
Roast beaf
1 kg roast beef
1 tablespoon oil
salt
pepper
Preheat the grill for 10 minutes. Marinade the meat.
Place the beef on the grill. Place the thermometer so that the tip hits the middle part of the beef. Grill first for 10 minutes and then turn the beef. When the temperature hits 70 degrees the beef is juicy and pink inside. When the temperature hits 77 degrees the beef is well done.
Pork chops
6 chops
Marinade
1 tablespoons honey
4 tablespoons soya
2 tea spoons chilli sauce
1 tablespoon oil
Heat the marinade ingredients in a saucepan until the honey has melted. Place the chops in a dish and pour the marinade. Turn the chops. Leave chops in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
Preheat the grill. Grill the chops for appr. 6 minutes on each side. Flavuor with salt.
Lamb chops

Marinade
1 tablespoon oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon rosemary
2 crushed gloves garlic
Mix the ingredients to the marinade. Marinade the meat and leave it for a while. Preheat the grill. Grill the chops for 3-4 minutes on each side. Flavour.
Safety instructions
- Read all instructions before use and save them.
- Plug the appliance to a household outlet of 230V. Only for it's intended use.
- Only connect the appliance to an earth socket.
- Never drop the heater/control knob, cord or plug in water or any other liquids. The control knob can not come into contact with water.
- Never connect the control knob to any other appliance.
- Free the control knob with the heater from the grill if you store it in a unheated environment. Store it inside on a dry and warm place.
- Never place utensils or cutlery on the grid when the grill is hot.
- Never use the appliance unassembled, assemble according to the instructions.
- Always place the dripray on the water and under the heater before grilling if you use the grill with water. Never place the dripray on the grid or heater.
- Connect the control knob to the source after it's assembled to the grill.
- If you use the appliance inside, the room should be well ventilated. The grilling process can be done near the kitchen fan but not directly under it.
- Never store the grill outside in rain.
- Electric appliances are not toys and should be stored out of reach of children. Watch out for hanging cord.
- Turn off the appliance and disconnect after use, before cleaning and if you fill with water. Never pour water over the heater.
- Extension flex should be placed so that you can't stumble on it, only use earthed extension. The cord can not come in contact with hot parts.
- Check the appliance, cord and plug after use. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazard.

As additional protection the installation of a fault current protective device (RCD with a release current of up to 30 mA is recommended. Ask your installer.

Turn the control knob to min before you unplug the appliance. Always pull the plug and not the cord.
- The grill gets very hot during use. Never touch the hot parts and handle the grill carefully after use.
- Never place the grill on an irregular surface, on heat sensitive surfaces or near walls or curtains. Never place the grill near a heat source or on another electrical appliance.
- Never leave the grill unsupervised when it's plugged in.
- Warning! Never use fuels such as charcoal, combustibles, stimulating liquids or similar when you use the grill.
- Only for private use.
- No liability is accepted for any damage resulting from use for other purposes, vaulty operation or amateur repairs. Guarantee services are also excluded in such cases.
