The operating manual is part of this product.
It includes important instructions for the safe, proper and economic operation of the product, for avoiding danger, for minimising repair costs and downtimes and for increasing the reliability and extending the service life of the product. In addition to the safety instructions in this operating manual, you must also observe the regulations applicable to the operation of the product in your country.
Familiarise yourself with all operating and safety instructions before using the product. Only operate the product as described and for the specified areas of application. Keep the operating manual in a good place and hand over all documents when passing the product on to third parties.

4 Proper use
The patio cleaner is designed for use in conjunction with the Germania EHPW32 high-pressure cleaner.
The patio cleaner is suitable for high-pressure cleaning of floor and wall surfaces without causing splashing. The rotating nozzles ensure particularly effective cleaning performance.
The product may only be used in the intended manner. Any use beyond this is improper. The user, not the manufacturer, is responsible for damages or injuries of any type resulting from this.
An element of the intended use is also the observance of the safety instructions, as well as the assembly instructions and operating information in the operating manual.
Persons who operate and maintain the product must be familiar with the manual and must be informed about potential dangers.
The liability of the manufacturer and resulting damages are excluded in the event of modifications of the product.
The product may only be operated with original parts and original accessories from the manufacturer.
The safety, operating and maintenance specifications of the manufacturer, as well as the dimensions specified in the technical data, must be observed.
Please note that our products were not designed with the intention of use for commercial or industrial purposes. We assume no guarantee if the product is used in commercial or industrial applications, or for equivalent work.
Any other use not expressly permitted in these instructions may result in damage to the product and pose a serious danger to the user.

5 Safety instructions
ATTENTION
Observe the safety instructions and notes in the operating instructions of all compatible products you use.
5.1 General safety instructions
- This product is not designed to be operated by persons (including children) with impaired physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or who have insufficient experience and/or insufficient knowledge unless they are being supervised by a person who is responsible for their safety or they are receiving instruction about how this product is to be used. - Persons who are unfamiliar with the operating manual may not operate the product. Persons under 16 years of age are not permitted to operate the product.
5.2 Working with the product
High-pressure cleaners can be dangerous when used improperly. The jet must not be directed towards any persons, animals, active electrical equipment or the product itself.
- Do not direct the jet at yourself or others to clean clothing or footwear.
- Do not use the product when other people are in range unless they are wearing protective clothing.
- Only activate the high-pressure jet once the surface cleaner is on the surface to be cleaned.
• Take appropriate measures to keep children away from the product while it is running. - Do not use the product in the vicinity of combustible fluids or gases. There is a risk of fire or explosion if disregarded.
- Store the product in a dry place and out of reach of children.
• Children should not be left unattended, to ensure they do not play with the product. - Observe the safety instructions for your high-pressure cleaner.
- The operator or user is responsible for accidents sustained by other persons or damage to their property.
CAUTION
In this way you avoid damage to the product and any personal injury resulting from it:
- Do not use for cleaning windows.
- Do not work with a damaged, incomplete or modified product without the consent of the manufacturer.
- Protect the product from frost.
- Only use original accessories and do not make any modifications to the product.
6 Unpacking
WARNING
The product and the packaging material are not children's toys!
Do not let children play with plastic bags, films or small parts! There is a danger of choking or suffocating!
- Open the packaging and carefully remove the product.
- Remove the packaging material, as well as the packaging and transport safety devices (if present).
- Check whether the scope of delivery is complete.
- Check the product and accessory parts for transport damage. Immediately report any damage to the transport company that delivered the Product. Later claims will not be recognised.
- If possible, keep the packaging until the expiry of the warranty period.
- Familiarise yourself with the product by means of the operating manual before using for the first time.
- With accessories as well as wearing parts and replacement parts use only original parts. Spare parts can be obtained from your specialist dealer.
- When ordering please provide our article number as well as type and year of manufacture for the product.
7 Technical data
The patio cleaner is suitable for high-pressure cleaners with a permissible pressure (p max) of 9-18 MPa (90-180 bar).

8 Assembly
• High-pressure cleaner*

8.1 Fit the lance (2) and extension (1) (Fig. 3)
- Screw the lance (2) onto the thread of the patio cleaner in a clockwise direction.
- To attach the extension (1), press the release button (2a) and place the extension (1) onto the lance (2). Then turn the extension (1) until it audibly clicks into place.
- To connect the lance (2) or extension (1) to the high-pressure cleaner, place the extension (1) or lance (2) onto the spray gun and turn it until it clicks into place.
- When using the extension (1), screw the union nut (1a) against the spray gun.
9 Operation
ATTENTION
Always make sure the product is fully assembled before commissioning!
ATTENTION
Only operate the product in an upright position, never in a lying position.

WARNING
If there are leaks in the water system, switch off the product immediately and disconnect the product from the mains immediately.
There is a danger of electric shock! Start connecting the water connections again.
9.1 Regulating the pressure (Fig. 1, 4)
You can regulate the pressure of the water jet by turning the pressure regulator (3). The rotational speed of the nozzles (5) changes accordingly.
- Turn the pressure regulator (3) clockwise to increase the pressure (+) or anticlockwise to decrease the pressure (-).
10 Working instructions (Fig. 1)

WARNING
Pay attention to the recoil force caused by the emergent water jet.
Ensure that you have secure footing and hold the spray gun firmly.
Otherwise, you could injure yourself or others!
- Only activate the high-pressure jet of your high-pressure cleaner once the patio cleaner is positioned on the surface to be cleaned.
- When cleaning wall surfaces, always hold the product by the handle (4).
- Do not run the product over free-standing corners.
- The product is not suitable for scouring or scrubbing.
11 Cleaning and maintenance

WARNING
Have maintenance and repair tasks that are not described in this operating manual, carried out by a specialist workshop. Use only original spare parts.

WARNING
Improper maintenance or cleaning work can cause injuries!

WARNING
The product may start unexpectedly and cause injuries and burns during cleaning, repair and maintenance work.
- Switch the product off.
– Pull out the mains plug. - Allow the product to cool.
11.1 Cleaning

WARNING
Do not spray the product with water or clean it under running water. There is a danger of electric shock and the product could be damaged.
- Keep protective devices, air vents and the motor housing as free of dust and dirt as possible. Rub the product clean with a clean cloth* or blow it off with compressed air* at low pressure. We recommend that you clean the product directly after every use.
- Never immerse the product in water or other liquids for cleaning.
- Clean the product at regular intervals using a damp cloth* and a little soft soap. Do not use any cleaning products or solvents; they could attack the plastic parts of the product. Make sure that no water can penetrate the product interior.
• Always keep the product clean, dry and free from oil or grease. Remove dust after each use and before storage.
11.2 Maintenance
The product is maintenance-free.
12 Storage
Store the product and its accessories in a dark, dry and frost-free place that is inaccessible to children.
The optimum storage temperature is between 5°C and 30°C.
Store the product in its original packaging.
Cover the product to protect it from dust or moisture.
Store the operating manual with the product.
13 Repair and ordering spare parts
After repairs or maintenance, make sure that all safety-related parts are installed and are in perfect condition.
All parts which may cause injury must be kept where they are inaccessible to children or others.
ATTENTION
According to the German Product Liability Act, no liability is accepted for damage caused by improper repairs or by not using original spare parts.
Such work should be performed by a customer service centre or an authorised specialists. The same applies to accessory parts.

Obvious defects must be reported within 8 days after receipt of the goods, otherwise the purchaser loses all claims due to such defects. We guarantee our machines, if handled correctly, for the duration of the statutory warranty period from handover in such a way that we will replace free of charge any machine part that demonstrably becomes unusable within this period as a result of material or manufacturing defects. For parts that we do not manufacture ourselves, we only provide a warranty to the extent that we are entitled to warranty claims against the upstream suppliers. The purchaser shall bear the costs of fitting the new parts. Claims for conversion and reduction and other claims for damages are excluded.
