CONDITIONS DE GARANTIE

This appliance has a two year warranty period. During this period the manufacturer is responsible for any failures which are the direct result of construction failure. When these failures occur the appliance will be repaired or replaced if necessary. The warranty will not be valid when the damage to the appliance is caused by wrong use, not following the instructions or repairs executed by a third party. The warranty will only be valid if the warranty application has been completed by the dealer at the time of purchase. All parts, which are subject to wear, are excluded from the warranty.

Instead it shall be brought to the applicable collection point for recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. For more detailed information about recycling of this product, please contact your local city office, your household waste disposal service or the shop where you purchased the product.

GENERALITES

- Attention : risk of electric shock !

- Connect and operate the appliance only in accordance with the specifications on the rating plate.

- Do not use the appliance if the power cord and/or appliance are damaged.

- Keep children away from the appliance.

- Always pull out the power plug after use, also before filling the water tank, before cleaning, before assembling or in case of a defect.

- Do not lay the power cord near sharp edges or hot surfaces.

- To prevent injury, repairs to the appliance, such as replacing a damaged power cord, should be carried out by our customer service only.

- Only use the humidifier with untreated tap water.

- Never operate the humidifier without water in the tank.

- Operate the appliance with original accessories only.

- Do not immerse the appliance in liquid.

- If there is a power failure, the appliance remains switched on.

- Persons, including children, who in view of the level of their physical, sensory or mental capacities, or their lack of experience or knowledge, re not in a position to use the equipment with safety, may not sue the equipment without supervision or instruction form a responsible person.

- Make sure children can not play with the appliance.

SHORT OVERVIEW

Keep the openings from the air vents free. Make sure the airflow is not blocked e.g. by furniture or curtains. Keep at least 50 cm away from walls, furniture or curtains.

Caution : never fill water through the air vents.

Keep the power cord and plug dry at all times.

When using the aroma container, make sure to only put a small quantity of aroma essence or inhalation agent in the aroma container.

Caution : never put aroma essence directly in the water tank.

Fill the water tank slowly and carefully. Note the maximum water level mark on the inside. Capacity : 5 litres.

Before filling the appliance, always remove the plug from the socket. Remove the top of the housing. Empty out the remaining water with residues. Rinse out the water tank well. Fill only up to the maximum water level mark.

The antibacterial treated filter elements ensure the hygienic room air. Replace filter elements every 2-3 months.

The power switch light will turn blue when the unit is switched on.

De speed control has two different coloured indication lights :

High speed for daytime operation : blue led

Low speed for night time operation : green led

Turn off the unit after every use. Pull out the power plug. Empty out the remaining water and rinse out the water tank well. Clean and maintain the humidifier weekly to ensure hygienic trouble-free operation.

OPERATION

Before first use :

Place the unit on a flat, stable and waterproof surface.

Never place directly under the power socket.

Make sure the machine stands safely and the airflow is not blocked by e.g. furniture or curtains. Never place near curtains, furniture or walls (risk of damage by moisture).

Make sure that nobody can trip over the power cable and that the machine is out of reach of children. Never let children play with the machine.

Important : only use the humidifier in dry rooms up to 50 m2/125m3 and without extension cable.

Filling the water tank :

Pull out the power plug.

Fill water carefully and slowly through the opening.

Note the maximum water level mark. Do not exceed the maximum water capacity of 5 litres.

Use tap water only. Never use mineral water or softened water! Never add salt or anything else to the water.

Never add water through the air inlet/outlet openings.

Never put aroma essence in the water tank, only in the aroma container.

GENERAL INFORMATION

the drier the room air, the more moisture is emitted by the humidifier. This self-regulation principle prevents excessive air humidity, keeping the relative humidity between about 45 and 60%.

For higher performance in large rooms, place the humidifier near a radiator (max. temperature of more than 50 °C)

Air circulation strongly interferes with humidification (e.g. open windows) Please note that moisture rises with warm air and may cause undesirable condensation.

RECOMMENDED ROOM AIR HUMIDITIES

50% humidity at 18^ C room temperature
45% humidity at 20^ C room temperature
40% humidity at 22^ C room temperature

TURNING ON THE UNIT

Insert the power plug.

Turn on the power switch. The LED goes blue.

Select the required speed :

Two drops for high speed, daytime operation (blue led)

One drop for low speed, night time operation (green led)

always check if the filter cassettes are in place. The Filter cassettes need to be replaced every 2 to 3 months, to obtain a hygienic operation.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Caution : Pull out the power plug before cleaning, maintenance, decalcification or rinsing.

Never immerse the unit in water or any other liquid.

Empty out residual water and rinse the water tank well. Remove deposits with a brush to prevent excessive tank scaling.

Wipe down the blower unit housing with a damp cloth and dry off

Note : Regularly clean and maintain the humidifier to ensure hygienic and trouble free operation.

In case of lime deposit, use a household decalcifier to remove the lime. After decalcification, always rinse out the unit 2 to 3 times to remove all residue of the decalcification product.
