This device has a warranty period of 2 years from the date of purchase. During this warranty period, the distributor will assume responsibility for any defects that can be shown to be the result of material, construction or manufacturing errors. Such defects will be remedied by repair or replacement of the device. The 2-year warranty period will be suspended during the repair period and will continue after the repair has taken place for the remaining duration of the warranty period. The warranty will be honoured if proof of purchase clearly showing the date of purchase is provided. If your device becomes defective within the 2-year warranty period, please return it with your proof of purchase to the store you purchased it from or follow the procedure of the relevant webshop if you bought it online.
The warranty does not cover damage to the device, accessories or parts caused by:
• normal wear and tear from use;
• non-compliance with the instructions for use, maintenance and cleaning in the manual;
- incorrect connection, e.g. electrical voltage too high;
- incorrect, heavy-handed or abnormal use;
• repairs or alterations carried out by the consumer or unauthorised third parties;
- use of parts or accessories not recommended nor supplied by the distributor.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be taken, including the following. Any injury or damage caused by failure to comply with these rules are at your own risk. Neither the manufacturer, importer, or the supplier may be held liable.
- Read all instructions carefully.
• Make sure all packaging materials and promotional stickers have been removed before using the appliance for the first time. Make sure children cannot play with the packaging materials. -
This appliance is only suitable for use in domestic and similar environments, such as:
-
staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
- farm houses;
- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
• bed and breakfast type environments.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 16 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 16 or supervised.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children younger than 16 years.
- All repairs should be carried out by the manufacturer or its aftersales service.
⚠️ELECTRICAL WARNINGS
- In order to avoid a hazard this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer or a
separate remote control, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
- The appliance must be disconnected from its power source when not in use, during service and when replacing parts. If present, first turn all the buttons to the 'off' position, then pull the plug out of the socket by grasping the plug itself. Never pull the cord or appliance to remove the plug from the socket.
- Before use, check carefully that the electric tension and frequency of the power net at your home match the indications on the rating label of the appliance.
- The appliance must be plugged into an appropriate outlet that is installed in accordance with local installation regulations.
- Do not let the power supply cord hang over the edge of a counter, or touch hot surfaces.
- Keep the power cord away from hot parts and don't cover the appliance.
- Unwrap the cord completely to prevent overheating of the cord. Do not allow the power cord supply to run underneath or around the unit.
- For safety reasons, never use the appliance if the cord, plug, or appliance itself is damaged, or after a malfunction of the appliance. Return the appliance to the DOMO Service Department or its service agent for examination, repair, or electrical or mechanical adjustment. Do not try to repair the appliance yourself.
⚠️INSTALLATION
- Do not place near flammable materials, gases or explosives.
- Do not use or store this appliance outdoors.
• Always use the appliance on a steady, dry and level surface.
- Never place this appliance near a gas stove or electrical stove or in a place where it may come into contact with a warm appliance.
⚠ USE
- Do not use this appliance for other than intended use.
- Never leave the appliance unattended while it is functioning.
- Do not operate the appliance with wet hands.
- The use of accessories that are not recommended or sold by the manufacturer can cause fire, electrical shock or injuries. Only use the utensils delivered with the appliance.
⚠ CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- To protect against electrical shock or burns, do not immerse unit, cord, or plug in water or other liquid.
- Failure to maintain this appliance in a clean condition could adversely affect the life of the appliance and possibly result in a hazardous situation.
⚠PRODUCTSPECIFIC WARNINGS
- Do not use or store the straightener in a humid environment such as near a bath or shower, in a bathroom, etc.
- Nevertheless, if the appliance should fall into water, immediately unplug it from the mains supply. Never put your hands in the water.
- The appliance could become hot during use. Persons who cannot perceive heat should not use the appliance or should only use it under supervision.
- Wait for the appliance to cool down before storing it.
- Do not use the appliance on artificial hair.
- Never cover the plates.
- Never turn on the device when it is locked.
• Always hold the device by its handgrip. Keep the plates away from your skin and eyes to avoid burns.
- Never move the appliance when it is still warm.
- Do not use hairspray on the hair before or during styling. Hairspray contains flammable materials.
- The cord must not come into contact with the hot surfaces of the appliance; ensure that the cord never gets between the plates.
- Never put the appliance in the dishwasher.
- After use, or before storing the appliance for an extended time, turn off the appliance, pull the plug out of the power socket and allow the device to cool down.
- Never wrap the cord around the appliance.

It is not permitted to use the appliance in the shower or bath.

- Make sure the hair is clean, dry and tangle-free. For extra protection you may use a heat-resistant spray.
Do not use hairspray on the hair before or during styling. Hairspray contains flammable materials.
- Release the lock. Insert the plug in the power socket, dashes appear on the display. Press the on-off button.
⚠️ Never turn on the device when it is locked.
- The straightener blows out air briefly to clear any dust from the air vents. The default setting is air mode HOT – speed II – styling plates at 120°C.

HOT 120°C
STYLING MODE WITHOUT AIR
Hold down the styling plate button for a few seconds. The straightener switches to styling mode without air and now functions like a classic straightener. The default setting is 190^ C.

= 190°CYou can adjust the temperature with each press of the styling plate button:
130^ C-150^ C-170^ C-190^ C-210^ C-230^ C . The right temperature depends on the hair type.
The display flashes the selected temperature during heating. When the appliance has reached the set temperature, it will stop flashing.
The air temperature button is inactive in this mode. If you press the airspeed button, the straightener will switch to air mode.
Recommended temperatures:

| 170°C - 190°C Normal, healthy hair |
| 210°C - 230°C Thick, very curly and difficult to style hair |
When using the appliance for the first time, it is recommended to start at the lowest temperature. The highest temperature settings should only be used by experienced users.
⚠️ If you choose a temperature that is too high for your hair type, you risk damaging your hair or even burning it.
AIR MODE
When you switch the appliance on, it automatically starts up in air mode. When in styling mode, press the airspeed button to activate air mode.
The display shows the air setting (airspeed and temperature) on the left and the styling plate settings (temperature) on the right.

Airspeed
You can set the airspeed to two settings using the airspeed button:


Air temperature
You can set the air temperature to three settings using the air temperature button. In terms of air temperature, you can also adjust or turn off the temperature of the styling plates using the styling plate button.
• Air temperature HOT – Styling plates adjustable: Off – 110°C – 120°C

COOL 210°C• After use, press the power button for a few seconds until dashes appear on the display and then unplug the appliance.
• Always allow the straightener to cool down before storing. The plates can be locked for easy storage.
TIPS
- Divide the hair into sections. Always start with the bottom layer first.
- Place 4-cm sections of hair, one at a time, between the 2 plates, and then slide the device along the entire length of the hair in one smooth movement. To avoid damaging the hair, repeat this movement a maximum of 2 times per section.
- Use a mirror to help you style your hair.
- If you increase the temperature during use, the appliance will take a few seconds to warm up. If you lower the temperature during use, it may take somewhat longer for the device to cool down.
- If the appliance does not detect movement for 20 seconds while in air mode, standby mode will switch on ("standby" appears on the display). The straightener will activate again upon movement or when you press a button.
- The straightener has an "auto off" function. This means the device will turn off automatically after 30 minutes.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Turn off the appliance. Pull the plug out of the power socket. Allow the device to cool down.
- Wipe all surfaces with a moist cloth.
CLEANING THE FILTER
- Remove the filter cover by pulling it in the direction of the cord.
- Regularly clean the air inlet and air outlet with a soft cloth, a cotton swab, or a clean toothbrush.
- Put the filter cover back and click it into place.
⚠️Do not immerse unit, cord, or plug in water or other liquid. ⚠️Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents.
