How to assemble the DOMO DO9171SP pasta machine?

Place the gear wheel in the opening on top, insert the chosen cone into the gear wheel, then screw the cover with filling opening clockwise. Place the container under the opening.

What types of pasta can I prepare with this appliance?

You can prepare capellini (extra fine), spaghetti (fine), and tagliatelle (thick) thanks to the three included cones.

Can I use the machine for vegetables or fruits?

Yes, the appliance also allows making spirals from vegetables and fruits, such as zucchini, carrot, apple, pear, etc. The foods must be round or cylindrical and measure between 2.5 cm and 6 cm in diameter.

What is the maximum continuous operating time?

Do not use the appliance for more than 1 minute at a time. After each use, let it cool before using again.

How to clean the pasta machine?

Unplug the appliance and remove the removable parts (cover, cones, gear wheel, pusher, container). They can be washed in the dishwasher. Clean the motor with a damp cloth. Never immerse the motor in water.

Attention: This appliance cannot be used with an external timer or a separate remote control.

ASSEMBLY

1. Place the appliance on a flat, stable surface.

2. Place the gear wheel in the opening on top of the appliance. Choose one of the three blade cones and place the cone into the gear wheel. Make sure that the cone and gear wheel are well placed. The blade cone should nicely fit into the gear wheel.

3. Place the lid with fill opening and turn clockwise to fasten.

4. Place the bowl onto the platform below the opening.

USE

1. Make sure that the on/off switch is set to 'O' (= off). Plug in the appliance.
2. Prick the vegetable or fruit - peeled or not - onto the cross at the bottom of the food pusher.

Caution: the vegetable or fruit has to be min. 2,5 cm and max. 6 cm wide. To make nice, long spaghetti it should also have a round or cylinder shape.

1. Now put the food pusher with the vegetable or fruit attached to it into the opening in the lid - with the vegetable/fruit downwards, so that the food touches the blade cone.

1. Apply pressure on the food pusher and simultaneously switch the on/off swith to 'I' (= on). The blade cone will now start spinning, and the food will be cut into spaghetti. Push the food pusher downwards during this process, with an even force, so that the food is pushed through the blade cone. Make sure that the vegetable or fruit - and thus also the food pusher - does not spin. The spaghetti will fall into the bowl.

2. Switch the on/off switch to 'O' (= off) when the vegetable or fruit is entirely cut.

3. A small vegetable or fruit cone will now be left behind on the bottom of the food pusher. Remove the cone from the food pusher and add it to your dish or already eat it as an appetizer for the meal.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

· Switch off and unplug the appliance before removing any parts and before cleaning.
- Clean all removable accessories after each use: lid with fill opening, blade cones, gear wheel, food pusher and bowl. These parts can also be cleaned in the dishwasher.

Caution: the blades are sharp. Be very careful during cleaning.

· Wipe the housing of the appliance clean with a soft, damp cloth. Dry thoroughly.
- Caution: never immerse the motor unit in water.
