Congratulations on purchasing an Infrared Heater by Heat4All. We would like to thank you for the trust you put in us and our products. All our infrared heaters are produced according to the lastet technological advancements and exclusively incorporate highest quality and sustainable materials and components.

In order for you to enjoy your panels for as long as possible, please carefully read this operation manual before first using your Heat4All® Infrared Heater. Please keep it close throughout for easy reference. In case you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at any time.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Our Heat4All Infrared Heaters (in the following referred to as IRH) do not work according to the principle of convection heat, but work by applying the principle of radiation heat. When first using our IRHs, cold bodies (furniture, walls, ceilings and floors) may need to be initially heated. Should the heating effect not set in immediately, please leave the heater on for 1-2 days to load all bodies in the room with heat. After this initial heating period, the comfortable warmth while using our heaters will set in immediately after turning them on and the heating periods can be reduced to a minimum. In order to achieve the most efficient performance possible, we recommend you use our high-quality wireless thermostats to control your Heat4All IRHs.

APPROPRIATE USAGE

Our Heat4All IRH are, depending on which panel you choose, designed to be used as wall or ceiling heaters. In order to use it appropriately, it is crucial to adhere to the following safety and mounting guidelines, especially before using our panels for the first time.

GENERAL SAFETY GUIDELINES

Heat4All IRHs may only be used with an AC voltage of 230 Volt, 50/60 Hz.

IRH are heating elements. Therefore, they heat up to high temperatures. For this reason, they are only suitable to be used as flat heaters in closed rooms, as sole or additional heater with thermal infrared radiation in the field of 'thermal IR-C'. The inappropriate use of our IRHs may cause harm to humans, animals or the environment. The heating element may not be used for cooking.

ATTENTION: Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns.

When using them around children, people restricted in their capability to move, elderly or handycapped people, it is crucial to operate our IRHs with special care.

This device may be used by children of 8+ years, as well as by people with limited physical, sensory or mental aptitude or lack of experience and/or knowledge if and only if they are supervised or instructed accordingly regarding the safe use of the device and if they understand any potential risks resulting from usage. Children may not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance of the device may only be carried out by adults.

Children of 3+ years but younger than 8 years may only turn the device on and off if they are supervised or were instructed accordingly regarding the safe use of the device and if they understand the potential risks resulting from usage, provided that the

device is placed or mounted in its normal position of use.

Children of 3+ years but younger than 8 years may not insert the power plug into the socket, control the device, clean the device and/or carry out maintenance tasks.

Children younger than 3 years are to be kept away unless they are under permanent supervision.

ATTENTION: Danger of overheating and fire hazard! Do not place any objects on the IRH and do not cover the heating element!

Do not touch the IRH when in use. Doing so may cause severe burns as the IRH's surface may reach temperatures of up to 120^ C (248° F).

Heat4All IRH may not be used when the power cable or power socket are damaged. Their pristine condition must be confirmed before operating the IRH. Do not pull on the cable; this might damage the plug. Do not pinch or bend the cable. Should the power supply of the panel get damaged in any way, it has to be replaced by the manufacturer, his customer service or a similarly qualified person.

Heat4All IRH may not be exposed to high humidity or excessive moisture. The heating element may not be mounted in the immediate proximity of tubs, showers or pools. It may further never be used by people in tubs, pools or showers.

Our Glass Picture and Decor Glass Pictue Panels are produced using high-quality ESG glass (single-panel safety glass). ESG glass is mechanically sturdier, which, in the case of breaking, will break into less sharp-edged shards. Attention: Avoid mechanically straining the glass.

In the case of damage to the glass, immediately disconnect the panel from power and do not plug it in again. The IRH needs to be immediately dismounted as parts might fall off and cause injuries or further damage.

Heat4All IRH do not come with integrated temperature control devices. The IRH may therefore not be used in small rooms whose tenants cannot leave them on their own, unless they are under constant supervision.

Should you not use the panel for longer periods of time, we recommend unplugging it.

Make sure to closely follow the Mounting Manual.

GENERAL MOUNTING GUIDELINES

Heat4All IRH may only be mounted using the original mounting kit. Please make sure that the included wall plugs and screws can be used in your wall or ceiling. We will not be liable for any damages resulting from the mounting of our panels. Any such damages do not fall under our warranty. Further, we will not be liable for any consequential damages.

The heating elements may only be used with the original frames as otherwise our warranty will be void and we will not be liable for any consequential damages.

We recommend hiring professional personnel for mounting the panels.

The installation via a set power supply may be exclusively done by a concessionary professional.

The mounting of the Heat4All® IRH on the wall or ceiling needs to be done by using

included mounting kit.

Please note that panels used in nurseries and rooms accessible to children need to be mounted at least 1.2m above the ground. When mounting the panel on the ceiling, the minimum height is 1.8m above the ground.

The panel may only be mounted or dismounted if completely cooled off.

The minimum distance to the wall and the ceiling needs to be 25mm . You will automatically adhere to these minimum distances when using the original mounting kit.

The minimum distance between the panel and other objects or furniture should be 40 cm. To the sides a minimum distance of 20 cm should be kept.

Any legally binding national regulations and norms as well as the instructions in the mounting and operation manual must be strictly adhered to.

The panel may not be mounted in the immediate proximity of tubs, showers or pools. If mounted by a specialist, the VDE 0100 part 701, part 702 and part 703 has to be applied.

The panels are protected against multi-directional splash water (IP45).

When installing the panel in publicly accessible rooms, the VDE 0108 has to be applied.

The socket used to power the panel may not be located behind the panel. In wet and bathrooms the socket needs to be located outside the protection areas 0, 1 and 2. The panel may be mounted in protection area 2.

UK amendment: Regulation 701.512.3 permits 230V socket outlets to be installed in a room containing a bath or shower, providing they are installed 3m horizontally from the boundary of zone 1.

A power cut-off system or the free access to the power plug needs to be secured at all times.

During operation via switches or thermostats the mains plug has to be controllable off-power at all times. If the heating element is controlled directly, make sure there are ways to cut the power at any time, e. g. using a safety switch or RCD.

Drilling into the panel is prohibited and will destroy it. Should you drill into the panel, its safe operation can no longer be guaranteed and it may no longer be connected to power.

WALL AND CEILING MOUNTING STEP BY STEP

For instruction on how to properly mount your Heat4All® IRH, please carefully follow the steps in our Mounting Manual (Panel).

CLEANING

Before cleaning the IRH or attempting any kind of repairs, make sure to always unplug the heater or cut off power by flipping the RCD or safety switch.

Before cleaning the heater element, make sure it is completely cooled off.

Heat4All IRHs may never be cleaned under running water or by submerging it in water.

Please also note that the IRH may never be cleaned with a wet towel or by splashing water onto it. The IRH may be cleaned either by using a dry towel or by sweeping it with a slightly moist towel.

• Scrubbing agents, scrubbing powders and other aggressive cleaners as well as rough

towels may not be used to clean the IRH.

Before connecting the IRH to the power again, it needs to be completely dry.

REPAIRS

Repairs on the IRH should never be done yourself. In case of any damages to your IRHs, please contact us or one of our partners.

DISPOSAL

Our Heat4All IRHs may not be desposed of via normal household waste but have to be disposed of at special waste colletcti on places or submitt ed to an electronics store that will dispose of them for you. For further informati on, please refer to your local waste disposal offi ce.

WARRANTY

The Heat4All Vertriebs GmbH grants customers a 96-month warranty (SmartLine: 60 months) on their IRHs' heating performance and a 36-month warranty on the picture surfaces, warranty starting on the date of issue of the invoice or delivery note.

Within this warranty period, any manufacturing or material fault will be amended by either repair or replacement of the defect parts or (at the discretion of the Heat4All Vertriebs GmbH) by replacement of the IRH with a fully functioning IRH of the same value.

Condition on for any warranty adjustments/replacements is that the IRH has been handled appropriately and with care. Any claims exceeding our warranty program are strictly excluded.

In the case of valid warranty claims, our warranty program only includes the repair of the IRH. Further claims as well as other liabilities for any consequential damages are strictly excluded.

The warranty shall cease to be valid should the fabricati on number be no longer recognizable or if it has been removed, this applies especially to the serial number as well as the identi fi cati on plate.

We cannot grant any warranty adjustments in the case of scratches on the glass or frame after the first usage. Any damages resulting from impact, inappropriate handling, moisture or other external factors, do not fall under our warranty.

Slight crackling noises, which may be caused by irregularities on the wall or ceiling on which the panel is mounted, are to be expected, do not warrant any claims and do not affect the IRH's performance.

In the case of our Mirror Panels, slight optical distortions along the edges are caused by technical reasons and do not warrant any claims either.

In the case of any valid warranty claims, the IRH has to be well-packed and sent to one of our service partners or directly to our issuing manufactory, together with the invoice and a detailed description of the damage/error. We will not except any shipments sent with freight collect / freight forward.
