Intended use

The fan is designed exclusively for ventilating dry rooms.

BLUEPALM

It is intended for private use only and is not suitable for commercial use.

Only use the fan as described in this operating manual.

1. Use this device only in accordance with the guidelines in the operating instructions. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer could result in fire, electric shock, or personal injury.
2. Remove the packaging and ensure that the device is not damaged. If in doubt, do not use the device and contact the service center or your dealer.
3. Keep children away from packaging materials. If swallowed, there is a risk of suffocation!
4. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorized service center to avoid any possible risks.
5. Before connecting to the mains, you must check that the type of current and mains voltage match the information on the device type label.
6. The electrical outlet you plug the device into must not be defective or loose and must be suitable for the required power load and, above all, reliably grounded.
7. Avoid using an extension cord, as this could overheat and cause a fire.
8. It is prohibited to adjust or modify the properties of this device in any way. Only use replacement parts and accessories recommended by the manufacturer (failure to comply will void the warranty and guarantee).
9. If the device is defective, switch it off and contact your dealer or customer service hotline.

1. For any repairs to the device, power plug, or cable, always and exclusively contact customer service centers authorized by the manufacturer. You can find the customer service centers online at www.bluepalm.at.
2. Children under 8 years of age and persons with limited physical, mental, sensory, or mental abilities, as well as those with a lack of experience and knowledge, may only use this device under appropriate supervision and after receiving detailed instructions on how to use the device safely and being made aware of the existing dangers.
3. Do not operate the device unattended. Always switch off the device if you leave the room.
4. Children must not play with the device.
5. Do not twist or kink the power cord.
6. Do not use the device with wet hands.
7. Do not use the device outdoors.
8. Never operate the device in rooms where gas, oil, or sulfur are present.
9. Do not use the device near water or in areas with high humidity, e.g., in damp basements, next to swimming pools, bathtubs, or showers. Ensure that no water enters the device.
10. Do not place any objects on the device.
11. Place the device on a stable and level surface.
12. Never cover the device.
13. Never insert fingers, pens, or other objects into the device and ensure that the air inlet and outlet are never blocked.

1. Always switch off the device before unplugging the power cord.
2. Do not pull on the power cord to disconnect the device from the mains. Always pull on the plug to remove the power cord.
3. Do not touch the plug with wet hands to avoid electric shock.
4. Unplug the device when not in use, before cleaning, servicing, or moving it from one location to another.
5. Keep the device in good condition by caring for and cleaning it. If you have any questions about maintenance, you can contact the manufacturer's authorized customer hotline/service center.
6. Store the device in a safe, dry place out of the reach of children when not in use.

	DISPOSALThe symbol "crossed-out wheelie bin" requires the separate disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). Electrical and electronic equipment may contain hazardous and environmentally harmful substances. Therefore, do not dispose of it in unsorted residual waste, but at a designated collection point for waste electrical and electronic equipment. Technical information

If the fan needs to be stored for a long period of time and is not used regularly, place the fan in its original packaging in a dry place. When using it for the first time after a long period of inactivity, make sure that the fan is clean and that the motor blades can move freely (with the device disconnected from the power supply).

Preparation

Before you begin assembling the product, make sure that all parts are present. Included in delivery: Fan housing, fan base (base).

• Estimated assembly time: 15 minutes

Assembly

Step 1: Select the two halves of the base, align the groove, and join them together to form a complete unit. Ensure that both halves of the base fit together properly.

Step 2: Remove the mounting screw from the bottom of the fan housing, unwind the power cord, and feed it through the hole in the fan base. Then add the base and turn it to ensure that the two slots line up perfectly with the housing.

Caution

The power cord is routed through the top of the fan base.

Step 3: Tighten the mounting screw (clockwise) and route the power cord through the cable channel on the edge of the base to make the product flatter and more stable. You have now completed the assembly of the tower fan. Secure the base with the 2 screws provided.

Note: Please note that it is normal for the tower fan with swivel function to wobble slightly or appear unstable. This is to ensure that the fan does not fall over immediately when touched and that the swivel function works properly.

• Turn the switch (1) to select the speed with or without oscillation.
  • There are 3 speeds to choose from: (Low - Medium - High)

ON / OFF / Timer (2)

• You can use the timer function to program an automatic switch-off time. To set the function, turn the control dial to the desired time – you can select up to 120 minutes. The fan switches off automatically when the set time has elapsed.
• To deactivate the timer function, turn the knob to "ON".
• Set the switch to "OFF" to turn off the fan.

CLEANING

NOTE: Always disconnect the power plug from the socket before cleaning the device.

1. DO NOT immerse the device in water or spray it with other liquids.
2. DO NOT use solvents or other chemical products for cleaning. Store the fan in a dry place when not in use.
3. When you are finished using the fan at the end of the season, wipe off any dust to keep it in good condition for the next season. If necessary, remove the grille and fan; clean with a soft, damp cloth.

WARRANTY

By choosing this quality product from BLUEPALM, you have made a decision in favor of innovation, durability, and reliability.

We grant a warranty period of 2 years from the date of purchase, valid in Austria, for this BLUEPALM device! Should your device require servicing during this period, contrary to expectations, we hereby guarantee free repair (spare parts and labor) or (at the discretion of Schuss) replacement of the product. If neither repair nor replacement is possible for economic reasons, we reserve the right to issue a credit note for the current value.

In the case of air conditioners, please contact the customer hotline (see sticker on the device or cover page of the instruction manual) as a first step. For fans, please contact your dealer or us directly. Please note that repair work not carried out by an authorized repair shop in Austria will immediately void this warranty.

This warranty does not cover:

• We do not accept liability for consequential damage resulting from improper use.
• Repair or replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear.
• Damage due to failure to follow the operating instructions.
• Devices that are used commercially, even if only partially.
• Devices that have been mechanically damaged by external influences (falls, impacts, breakage, improper use, etc.) as well as signs of wear and tear of an aesthetic nature.
• Devices that have been handled improperly
• Devices that have not been opened by our authorized service workshop.
- Damage caused by improperly closed condensation drain valves on air conditioning units or incorrectly installed water containers.
• Unmet consumer expectations.
• Damage caused by force majeure, water, lightning, or power surges.
• Devices on which the type designation and/or serial number has been changed, deleted, made illegible, or removed.
• Services outside our authorized repair shops, transport costs to an authorized repair shop or to us and back, and the associated risks.

We expressly point out that within the warranty period, a flat fee of €60 (indexed based on CPI 2010, June 2015) will be charged in the event of operating errors or if no fault is found.

The provision of a warranty service (repair or replacement of the device) does not extend the absolute warranty period of 2 years from the date of purchase.

The 2-year warranty is only valid upon presentation of the proof of purchase (must include the name and address of the dealer and the complete device description) and the corresponding warranty certificate, on which the device type and serial number (visible on the box and on the back or bottom of the device) must be noted! Without presentation of the warranty certificate, only the statutory warranty applies!

We expressly point out that the statutory warranty rights are not affected by this warranty and remain in full force and effect.

Schuss Home Electronic GmbH and its vicarious agents shall only be liable for damages in cases of gross negligence or intent. In any case, liability for lost profits, expected but unrealized savings, consequential damages, and damages arising from third-party claims is excluded. Damage to or for recorded data is always excluded from the liability for damages.
