READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS. PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE OPERATING.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS - WHEN USING AN ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE, BASIC PRECAUTIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE FOLLOWED, INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING:

• Use this product only for its intended use as described in this manual.
• Always place diffuser on a firm, flat, level surface.
• Always keep diffuser vertical when oil bottle has been installed to reduce likelihood of oil leaking and damaging the diffuser.
• DO NOT use attachments not recommended by Homedics.
• DO NOT place or store this product where it can fall or be dropped into a tub or sink.
• DO NOT place or drop into water or any other liquid.
• Turn off product when not in use.
• NEVER operate this product if it has a damaged cord, plug, cable, or housing.
• DO NOT use any other AC adapter and power cord than what is supplied with the product. Use of any other AC adapter or power cord may damage the product and may increase the risk of harm to the user or property. Only AC adapter bearing part PP-ARMHADPWT (white) or PP-ARMHADPBK (black) should be used.
• DO NOT attempt to modify or repair the unit. Servicing must be performed by professional or qualified personnel.
• Always keep away from heated surfaces, high temperatures, and fire.
• Only set on dry surfaces. Do not place on surface wet from water or cleaning solvents.
• NEVER cover the product when it is in operation.
• This unit should not be used by children without adult supervision.
• Keep this product out of the reach of children.
  • DO NOT use outdoors.
• This product is intended for indoor, household use only.
• Refer to the online manual for complete operation and maintenance details.
• DO NOT expose diffuser to fire or excessive temperatures. Exposure to fire or temperature above 265^ may cause explosion.
• Follow all charging instructions and do not charge diffuser outside of the temperature range specified in the instructions. Charging improperly or at temperatures outside of the specified range may damage the battery and increase the risk of fire. Product operating and charging range: 0°C – 40°C.

WARNING: This product has an internal, nonreplaceable lithium-ion battery. This battery is not user-serviceable. Please dispose in accordance with local, state, province, and country regulations.

1. Remove diffuser top
2. Twist off empty bottle (keep for occasional maintenance or oil change out)
3. Twist on SereneScent™ fragrance oil bottle to the diffuser top
4. Place diffuser top and attached oil bottle back into the diffuser base
5. Use the adapter and cable provided to charge the diffuser and enjoy your cordless diffuser once fully charged
6. Download our easy to use Homedics SereneScent™ app for a fully customizable experience

Battery charging indicator

Power button:

1. First short press to turn on unit
2. Short press to navigate through intensity settings: low, med, high
3. Long press to turn off unit and LED lights

Light button:

1. First short press - Turns ON ambient light
2. Short press - cycle through colors and light breathing mode. First press will change light color and second press will put that color into breathing mode
3. Long press - Turns OFF ambient light

Timer button:

1. Short press will cycle through preferred timer setting
2. Timer off for continuous operation

Power ON

Plug in adapter and power cable to wall and diffuser. If plugged in already, press button located on the diffuser base or on the Bluetooth app.

Power OFF

Long press power button to turn OFF diffuser and LED lights.

Bluetooth® set up

1. Download the Homedics SereneScent™ app from the app store.
2. Follow the instructions on the app to set up your diffuser.

Intensity Setting

The diffuser has 3 scent intensity levels: low, medium and high. On the diffuser base, press ⏻ to increase or decrease the intensity. You can also customize the scent intensity on the Bluetooth app.

The diffuser does not emit fragrance oil constantly. The diffuser emits the fragrance oil intermittently over short periods of time.

Your diffuser is set to mist and pause at different time intervals based on the intensity setting you choose.

Ambient light

Press ⚙️ to choose your preferred light settings. You can also customize the light settings on the Bluetooth app.

Timer

Press Ⓤ on diffuser to cycle through the timer options: 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours and off. You can also customize the desired timer setting on the Bluetooth app.

Low battery indicator

When the battery is at approximately 20%, the battery charging indicator on the back of the diffuser will illuminate red. When the battery is at 10% or lower, the battery charging indicator and the ambient light will both flash red. The diffuser will automatically shut off when the battery is depleted, and the battery indicator will flash red 5 times if there is an attempt to turn the diffuser ON.

During charging

When plugged in, the battery charging indicator will illuminate white and blink while charging. Time to a full charge is approximately 8 hours.

Fully charged

When fully charged, the battery charging indicator will turn OFF. Run time is approximately 10 hours after a full charge.

• Why does the mist start and then stop?
- What do the different strength settings mean?

SereneScent™ waterless home fragrance diffuser is designed to mist and pause at different time intervals based on the intensity you select. Based on the intensity setting you choose, your diffuser will release visible aroma mist for a few seconds and then pause, before starting to mist again.

equipment cleaning

The diffuser may need to be cleaned when:

1. You're about to change to another SereneScent™ 120 ml oil bottle.
2. The atomization volume becomes weak.

Cleaning steps:

1. Fill the empty 120 ml bottle (provided with your diffuser) with 90% isopropyl alcohol or higher.
2. Install this bottle to the diffuser and turn the diffuser on high. Let it work for 30 minutes.
3. Turn OFF diffuser, remove bottle with isopropyl alcohol, and replace with bottle of SereneScent™ fragrance oil.

are essential oils safe to use around pets?

Although Homedics SereneScent™ is made from essential oils, we should always exercise caution when using essential oils around our pets. Keep all products out of reach of pets. Keep open bottles away from pets to avoid internal consumption. When diffusing, always diffuse in a well-ventilated area and leave an option for them to remove themselves from the space. Every animal is different, so carefully observe how each animal responds when introducing essential oils for the first time. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. We recommend seeking medical attention if ingestion of essential oil occurs.

Before asking to have the machine repaired, please try to diagnose the problem following the below instructions.

Breakdown Solution
Not diffusing	The atomizing core may be blocked, please clean the impurities inside with alcohol.The tube may be loose, please check and tighten it.
Weak diffuse	The atomizing core may be blocked, please clean the impurities inside with alcohol.The gasket may be damaged or loose, please tighten it.The tube may be loose, please check and tighten it.
Oil leakage	The bottle may be loose, please check and tighten it.The gasket in the atomized head is damaged or loose, please tighten it.

Homedics sells its products with the intent that they are free of defects in manufacture and workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of original purchase, except as noted below. Homedics warrants that its products will be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service. This warranty extends only to consumers and does not extend to Retailers.

To obtain warranty service on your Homedics product, contact a Consumer Relations representative for assistance. Please make sure to have the model number of the product available.

Homedics does not authorize anyone, including but not limited to Retailers, the subsequent consumer purchaser of the product from a Retailer, or remote purchasers, to obligate Homedics in any way beyond the terms set forth herein. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or abuse; accident; the attachment of any unauthorized accessory; alteration to the product; improper installation; unauthorized repairs or modifications; improper use of electrical/power supply; loss of power; dropped product; malfunction or damage of an operating part from failure to provide manufacturer's recommended maintenance; transportation damage; theft; neglect; vandalism; or environmental conditions; loss of use during the period the product is at a repair facility or otherwise awaiting parts or repair; or any other conditions whatsoever that are beyond the control of Homedics.

This warranty is effective only if the product is purchased and operated in the country in which the product is purchased. A product that requires modifications or adoption to enable it to operate in any other country than the country for which it was designed, manufactured, approved, and/or authorized, or repair of products damaged by these modifications is not covered under this warranty.

THE WARRANTY PROVIDED HEREIN SHALL BE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY. THERE SHALL BE NO OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS OR ANY OTHER OBLIGATION ON THE PART OF THE COMPANY WITH RESPECT TO PRODUCTS COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY. HOMEDICS SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL THIS WARRANTY REQUIRE MORE THAN THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF ANY PART OR PARTS THAT ARE FOUND TO BE DEFECTIVE WITHIN THE EFFECTIVE PERIOD OF THE WARRANTY. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.
