The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive (Directive

2012/19/EU) is a European Union law that aims to reduce the environmental impact of electrical and electronic equipment. It mandates producers to take responsibility for the end-of-life management of their products, promoting collection, treatment, and recycling to minimize waste and encourage resource recovery.
