Operation
Startprotection/Keylock

- This automaticsafetyfunctionisactivatedoneminuteaftertheoven has returned to "stand by mode". The oven is in "stand by" when the time is displayed or if the clock has not been set, when the display is blank.
- Whenthedoorisopenedandclosed,forexampletoputadishin,thesafetylockisdeactivated.Whenswitchingonthemicrowave withoutpreviouslyopeningthedoor,'DOOR'appearsonthedisplay.

Note: when cooking is complete and the door is opened and then closed, the oven holds the settings for 60 seconds.
Coolingdown
- Aftercooking, the cooling fan may continue to for unsometime (depending on the amount of heat in the oven). This is normal. The cooling fan switches so automatically. Cooling can be interrupted without damaging the oven by opening the door.

JetStart(TurboStart)
This function is used for quick reheating off food with a high water contents such as clear soups, coffee or tea.


- PresstheStartbutton.
- Thisfunctionautomaticallystartswithmaximummicrowavepower levelandthecookingtimesetto30seconds.Eachadditionalpress increasesthetimewith30seconds. Youmayalsoalterthetimeby pressingthe+/-buttonstoincreaseordecreasethetimeafterthe functionhasstarted.

- Follow the procedure for “Preparing and warming up” and choose power level 160 W when defrosting manually.
- Checkandinspectthefoodregularly.Experiencewillgiveyouthetimesneededforvarious amounts.
- Frozen food in plastic bags, plastic films or cardboard packages can be placed directly in the ovensalongasthepackagehasnometalparts(e.g.metaltwistties).
- The shape of the package alters the defrosting time. Shallow packets defrost more quickly than adeepblock.
- Separatepiecesastheybegintodefrost.Individualslicesdefrostmoreeasily.
- Shield areas of food with small pieces of aluminum foil if they start to become warm (e.g. chicken legsandwingtips).
- Turnlargejointshalfwaythroughthedefrostingprocess.
- Boiledfood, stewsandmeatsaucesdefrostbetterifstirredduringdefrostingtime.
- When defrosting it is better to under-thaw the food slightly and allow the process to finish during standingtime.
- Standingtimeafterdefrostingalwaysimprovestheresultsincethetemperaturewillthenbe evenlydistributedthroughoutthefood.
Jetdefrost
Use this function only if the food's net weight is between 100g and 2Kg. Always placethe food on the glass turntable.

- If the food is warmer than deep-freezetemperature (-18°C), chooses lower weight of the food.
- If the food is colder than deep-freeze temperature (-18 °C), choose higher weight of the food.

Cleaning
- DON'T USE any abrasive cleaners or metal scrapers to clean the glass door. This will scratch the surface which can break the glass.
- DON'TUSEhighpressureorsteamcleanerstocleanthemicrowave.
- Cleantheinsideimmediatelyafteruse.Useadampclothtoremovecondensation,overcooked moistureandfooddebris.Leftovercrumbsandmoistureabsorbmicrowaveenergyandextend cookingtimes.
- Clean the interior and outer casing regularly; use some washing up liquid and water and dry the microwavewellwithadrycloth.

- Ensure that the cover of the microwave distributor is clean. Dirt in the cover can lead to spark formation.
- Cleantheaccessoriesregularly;usesomewashingupliquidandwaterwithabrushanddry theaccessorieswellwithadrycloth. Theaccessoriesmayalsobewashedinthedishwasher.
- Smells will disappear if you place a glass of vinegar or water with lemon in the microwave area. Switchthemicrowaveonatfullpowerfortwominutes.Thenrubdownwithadampcloth.
- Check the door closure and the door rubber regularly for damage. Don't use the microwave if the door or door closure is damaged.
- If the seal of the microwave is very dirty, the door won't close properly. The front of adjacent furniture can be comedamaged. Keep these a clean.
- Salt is extremely aggressive. When this is deposited in the oven interior, rust patches can be created.
