BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME

• Remove any packaging material and labels.
• Remove the motor unit from the lid assembly by pressing the latches. Wash the container and lid assembly in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry.
• Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth, then refit it to the lid assembly.

CHARGING

• The motor can be removed from the lid assembly during charging if desired.
• Lift the flap covering the charging socket and plug in the supplied USB cable (Fig A).

• Connect the USB cable to the USB port on your power source.

• It will take approximately 4 hours for a full charge. A full charge will provide approximately 30 minutes of use.

Rapid flash 20% of battery charge remaining. The light will flash rapidly when you press either button, or for 3 seconds after you release it.

When the status light flashes rapidly you must charge your sports blender before it can be used.

1. Put the liquid into the container first (we recommend 250-450ml) then add the powder. Follow the manufacturer's recommendations but do not fill the container above the 500ml marking.
2. Screw the lid assembly onto the container. Tighten firmly (Fig B).
3. Fit the motor unit onto the lid assembly. Push down until the two latches click (Fig C).
4. Close the cap (Fig D).
5. Hold your sports blender as shown (Fig E) so that you can hold the cap secure and press either of the two buttons on the motor unit.
6. Press and hold either of the buttons to start the motor. Release it to stop.
7. Do this until the ingredients are mixed to your liking. This should take about 15 seconds. You may find it helpful to invert your sports blender to ensure all of the ingredients are mixed. Remember to hold the cap secure if you do this. If you are only mixing a small quantity, you may find it better to process them with your blender inverted.

HINTS AND TIPS

- You must always open the cap if you want to remove the motor unit from the lid assembly.

Your sports blender is ideal for mixing all powdered sports and health supplements (protein and creatine) but you can also use it to mix things like:

• Juices and cordials
• Cocktails (without ice—add ice after mixing)
• Milkshakes

Your sports blender is not suitable for blending solid ingredients.

CLEANING

1. Hand wash the lid assembly and container in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry. For a quick clean, add warm water to the container with a drop of washing up liquid, assemble the blender and operate it. Empty the container then rinse and dry.

2. Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth.

You may wash these parts in the top rack of a dishwasher. If you use a dishwasher, the harsh environment inside the dishwasher will affect the surface finishes.

The damage should be cosmetic only, and should not affect the operation of the appliance.

REMOVING THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERY

We strongly recommend that a professional removes the rechargeable battery. Parts of the motor case, and tools have sharp edges and may cause injury if not handled correctly.

• The rechargeable battery must be removed from the appliance before it is scrapped.

• Disconnect the charging adapter before removing the battery.

• Ensure that the battery is fully discharged. To do this, operate your sports blender until it stops.

• Remove the motor unit.

• Turn the motor unit upside down and remove the four screws (Fig F).

• Lift off the motor cover then lift out the battery (Fig G).

• Cut the battery wires (Fig H).

• The battery must be disposed of at an appropriate official recycling/collection point.

RECYCLING

To avoid environmental and health problems due to hazardous substances, appliances and rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries marked with one of these symbols must not be disposed of with unsorted municipal waste. Always dispose of electrical and electronic products and, where applicable, rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries, at an appropriate official recycling/collection point.
