How to install the Vevor W-1.0X1220 press brake?

Fix the bracket (part no. 1) onto a sturdy workbench using four 3/8-inch diameter bolts (not provided). Screw the ball handles (part no. 7) onto the handle levers, then place the levers into the pins (part no. 5).

What metal thickness can I bend with this press?

The press can bend steel up to 1.0 mm thick. For aluminum or copper, slightly greater thicknesses may be possible, but do not exceed the rated capacity.

How to adjust the bending angle?

The angle depends on the lever stroke. Lower the lever until the moving plate is parallel to the workbench, position the sheet, then lift both levers to bend. The maximum angle is 90°. For intermediate angles, manually adjust the stroke.

What to do if the handle becomes hard to maneuver?

Check that the pivot shafts are lubricated with light oil. Clean any dirt or rust. If the problem persists, inspect the moving parts (plates and pins) for damage or misalignment.

What safety precautions should I take?

Always wear safety glasses and protective equipment. Keep fingers and clothing away from moving plates. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Work in a dry, well-lit area.

Can I bend aluminum or copper with this press?

Yes, you can bend aluminum and copper within the thickness limit (about 1.0 mm for steel; for softer metals, thicknesses up to 1.5 mm may be suitable, but test first.

How to maintain the press brake?

After each use, clean the plates and shafts with a dry cloth. Lubricate pivot points with light oil. Store the press in a dry place to prevent rust.

Where can I find spare parts?

What size should the workbench be to mount the press?

The workbench must be sturdy enough to support the press weight (about 32.7 kg) and allow mounting with 3/8 in bolts. Allow at least 1300 x 300 mm of space to handle sheets.

How to replace a worn ball handle?

Unscrew the old handle (part no. 7) from the handle lever (part no. 6). Screw the new handle in place. Make sure it is tight. If the lever is damaged, replace it as well.

WARNING: When using tool, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of personal injury and damage to equipment.

1. Keep work area clean. Cluttered areas invite injuries.
2. Observe work area conditions. Do not use machines or power tools in damp or wet locations. Don't expose to rain. Keep work area well lit. Do not use electrically powered tools in the presence of flammable gases or liquids.
3. Keep children away. Children must never be allowed in the work area. Do not let them handle machines, tools, or extension cords.
4. Store idle equipment. When not in use, tools must be stored in a dry location to inhibit rust. Always lock up tools and keep out of reach of children.

1. Do not force the tool. It will do the job better and more safely at the rate for which it was intended. Do not use inappropriate attachments in an attempt to exceed the tool's capacity.

3. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry, as they can get caught in moving parts. Protective, electrically non-conductive clothing and non-skid footwear are recommended when working. Wear restrictive hair covering to contain long hair.
4. Use eye and ear protection. Always wear ISO-approved impact goggles. Wear a full-face shield if you are producing metal filings or chips. Wear an ISO-approved dust mask or respirator when working around metal, and chemical dusts and mists.
5. Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. Do not reach over or across a running machine.
6. Maintain tools with care. Keep tools sharp and clean for better and safer performance. Follow instructions for lubricating and changing accessories. The handles must be kept clean, dry, and free from oil and grease at all times.
7. Stay alert. Watch what you are doing; use common sense. Do not operate any tool when you are tired.
8. Check for damaged parts. Before using any tool, any part that appears damaged should be carefully checked to determine that it will operate properly and perform its intended function. Check for alignment and binding of moving parts; any broken parts or mounting fixtures; and any other condition that may affect proper operation. Any part that is damaged should be properly repaired or replaced by a qualified technician.
9. Guard against electric shock. Prevent body contact with ground surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges, and refrigerator enclosures.
10. Replacement parts and accessories. When servicing, use only identical

replacement parts. Use of any other parts will void the warranty. Only accessories intended for use with this tool are approved. Approved accessories are available from the distributor.

Assembly and Operating Instructions

The 40” Mighty Mini Bender requires some minor assembly as described below. Please refer to the parts diagram and the parts list shown before when reading these instructions.

1. The Stand (#1) should be secured to a work bench using the mounting holes and 4 bolts (3/8" diameter).
2. Each Handle Ball (#7) should be attached to the Handle Lever (#6). The Handle Levers should be placed into the Pins (#5).
3. To use the Mighty Mini Bender, lower the Handle Lever until the Plate is parallel to the work bench. Position the material to be bent on the Supporting Plate (#2) and the moving Plate, and properly align with the edge to be bent up against the back edge of the Supporting Plate.
4. Place and secure the Pressing Plate (#3) on top of the Supporting Plate, with the back edge of the Pressing Plate aligned with the back edge of the Supporting Plate.
5. Raise the two Handle Levers to bend the material to the desired angle.

Warning: When using the Mighty Mini Bender, keep fingers clear of the Supporting Plate and Moving Plate to avoid personal injury.

1. When the Mighty Mini Bender is not in use, it should be covered and stored in a dry location.
