How to assemble the Vevor W-1.0X915 press brake?

Secure the support (#1) to a workbench using 4 bolts of 3/8 inch diameter. Screw each ball handle (#7) onto a handle lever (#6). Place the levers onto the pins (#5). No other tools are needed.

What sheet thickness can I bend with this model?

This model can bend steel up to 1.0 mm thick. For softer materials like aluminum, the maximum thickness may be higher, but it is recommended not to exceed the steel capacity to avoid damaging the machine.

What is the maximum bending width?

The maximum bending width is 915 mm (36 inches). This corresponds to the width of the backing plate.

How to use the press brake for a 90-degree bend?

Lower the handle lever until the moving plate is parallel to the work surface. Place the material on the backing plate (#2) and the moving plate, aligning the edge to be bent against the rear edge of the backing plate. Secure the pressure plate (#3) on top. Raise the levers to bend the material to the desired angle, up to 90 degrees.

What safety precautions should I take?

Always wear ISO-approved safety goggles. Keep your fingers away from the backing plate and moving plate during bending. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep the work area clean and tidy. Do not use under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

How to maintain the press brake?

After use, clean the machine to remove metal debris. Store it in a dry place to prevent rust. Periodically lubricate moving parts with light oil. Regularly check the condition of bolts and pins.

Can I bend materials other than steel?

Yes, you can bend other materials like aluminum, copper, or brass, as long as they respect the maximum bending capacity (in terms of equivalent thickness). However, the machine is designed for steel; for harder materials, the maximum thickness will be reduced.

Does the press brake require electrical installation?

No, it is a manual press brake that operates without electricity. It is operated by the handle levers. Simply ensure it is securely fixed to a workbench.

How to attach the press brake to a workbench?

Use the four mounting holes on the support (#1). Secure it to the workbench with 3/8 inch diameter bolts (not included). Ensure the workbench is stable and can support the weight of the machine (approx. 33 kg).

WARNING: When using the tool, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of personal injury and damage to equipment.

1. Keep the work area clean. Cluttered areas invite injuries.
2. Observe work area conditions. Do not use machines or power tools in damp or wet locations. Do not expose to rain. Keep the work area well lit. Do not use electrically powered tools in the presence of flammable gases or liquids.
3. Keep children away. Children must never be allowed in the work area. Do not let them handle machines, tools, or extension cords.
4. Store idle equipment. When not in use, tools must be stored in a dry location to inhibit rust. Always lock up tools and keep them out of reach of children.

1. Do not force the tool. It will do the job better and more safely at the rate for which it was intended. Do not use inappropriate attachments in an attempt to exceed the tool's capacity.
2. Use the right tool for the job. Do not attempt to force a small attachment to do the work of a large industrial tool. Do not use a tool for a purpose for which it was not intended.
3. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry, as they can get caught in moving parts. Protective, electrically non-conductive clothing and non-skid footwear are recommended when working. Wear restrictive hair covering to contain long hair.
4. Use eye and ear protection. Always wear ISO-approved impact goggles. Wear a full-face shield if you are producing metal filings or chips. Wear an ISO-approved dust mask or respirator when working around metal, and chemical dusts and mists.
5. Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. Do not reach over or across a running machine.
6. Maintain tools with care. Keep tools sharp and clean for better and safer performance. Follow instructions for lubricating and changing accessories. The handles must be kept clean, dry, and free from oil and grease at all times.
7. Stay alert. Watch what you are doing; use common sense. Do not operate any tool when you are tired.
8. Check for damaged parts. Before using any tool, any part that appears damaged should be carefully checked to determine that it will operate properly and perform its intended function. Check for alignment and binding of moving parts; any broken parts or mounting fixtures; and any other condition that may affect proper operation. Any part that is damaged should be properly repaired or replaced by a qualified technician.
9. Guard against electric shock. Prevent body contact with ground surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges, and refrigerator enclosures.
10. Replacement parts and accessories. When servicing, use only identical

replacement parts. Use of any other parts will void the warranty. Only accessories intended for use with this tool. Approved accessories are available from the distributor.

Assembly and Operating Instructions

The 40” Mighty Mini Bender requires some minor assembly as described below. Please refer to the parts diagram and the parts list shown before when reading this instruction.

1. The Stand (#1) should be secured to a work bench using the mounting holes and 4 bolts (3/8" diameter).
2. Each Handle Ball (#7) should be attached to the Handle Lever (#6). The Handle Levers should be placed into the Pins (#5).
3. To use the Mighty Mini Bender, lower the Handle Lever until the Plate is parallel to the work bench. Position the material to be bent on the Supporting Plate (#2) and the moving Plate, and properly align with the edge to be bent up against the back edge of the Supporting Plate.
4. Place and secure the Pressing Plate (#3) on top of the Supporting Plate, with the back edge of the Pressing Plate aligned with the back edge of the Supporting Plate.
5. Raise the two Handle Levers to bend the material to the desired angle.

Warning: When using the Mighty Mini Bender, keep fingers clear of the Supporting Plate and Moving Plate to avoid personal injury.

1. When the Mighty Mini Bender is not in use, it should be covered and stored in a dry location.
