How to install Vevor SJ50-36 acoustic panels?

Make sure the wall is clean and dry. After decompressing the panels, let them rest for 24 to 48 hours to regain their shape. Apply universal adhesive to the back of the panel (adhesive not included) and press it against the wall. Check adhesion after drying.

How long does it take for the panels to regain their shape?

The panels are shipped vacuum compressed. It takes 24 to 48 hours for them to return to their original volume. You can speed up the process by dampening them and then drying in a clothes dryer on medium heat.

Can I paint the acoustic panels?

It is not recommended to paint acoustic foam panels as paint would clog the pores and reduce their acoustic efficiency. If you wish to color them, use a specific foam dye.

Are the panels fire-resistant?

The instructions do not mention fire-resistant treatment. By default, acoustic foam is flammable. Keep them away from any heat source and flame.

What adhesive should I use to fix the panels?

Use a universal adhesive suitable for foam and wall (spray adhesive or construction adhesive). Make sure it is compatible with the surface. Adhesive is not included with the product.

Can I cut the panels to fit specific spaces?

Yes, you can cut the panels with a sharp utility knife. Use a template for clean cuts. This does not affect their acoustic performance as long as the shape remains consistent.

What is the difference between the SJ50-36 model and other models in the series?

The SJ50-36 contains 36 panels of 300x300x50mm in triangular shape. Other models vary in number of pieces, dimensions and shapes (pyramid, egg). Refer to the instructions for the full list.

What area can these panels cover?

With 36 panels of 30x30 cm, you can cover approximately 3.24 m² of wall surface if placed side by side. This is suitable for a medium-sized room.

How to clean the panels?

Use a vacuum with a soft brush or a dry cloth to remove dust. Avoid water and chemicals that could degrade the foam.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Open the box and remove the product from the compression bag. Spread the product on an open ground and let it stand for 24-48 hours.

Note: To make the product return to shape quickly, soak the product in water, then twist it dry. Finally, use a dryer on medium heat to dry the product. If the product is wet, it will affect the adhesion.

1. Remove dust and dirt from the wall.
2. Apply universal glue to the back of the product and press it onto the wall.

Note: You need to purchase your own universal glue. Apply the glue evenly.
