How to turn the scale on or off?

Press and hold the Power On/Off button (or the corresponding button on the remote control) to turn the scale on. To turn off, hold the same button until the shutdown message appears.

How to perform a tare?

Place the empty container on the scale, then press and hold the TARE/ZERO button (or the -T- button on the remote control). The 'T' indicator will appear. To cancel the tare, press and hold again.

How to change the unit of measurement?

Press and hold the HOLD/UNIT button (or use the remote control) to toggle between kg, lb and N. The active unit is indicated by the corresponding LEDs.

What to do if the scale does not turn on?

First check the batteries (3xAA): replace them if discharged. Make sure to press firmly and hold the Power On/Off button for at least 2 seconds. If the problem persists, inspect the power cable or contact after-sales service.

Why is the display flashing?

A flashing display usually indicates low batteries. Replace the scale's batteries with new ones.

How to set the auto-off?

Enter the configuration menu by first pressing the Power On/Off button, then immediately pressing TARE/ZERO (or simultaneously pressing the corresponding buttons on the remote control). Navigate to 'AUTO OFF' and set the desired duration: disabled, 5, 15, 30 or 60 minutes.

What is the maximum capacity of the scale?

The maximum capacity is 1000 kg (equivalent to 2200 lb). Never exceed this load to avoid damaging the load cell.

How to lock the displayed weight?

Briefly press the HOLD/UNIT button (or the corresponding button on the remote control). The 'H' indicator lights up and the value remains displayed even after removing the load. Press again to unlock.

What to do if the weight reading is unstable?

Ensure the load is perfectly stable and that no movement affects the scale. If the problem persists, the load cell may be damaged or the main board faulty; contact technical support.

How to clean and maintain the scale?

Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the display and housing. Never immerse the scale in water. Remove the batteries if not using the scale for an extended period. Regularly check the condition of the hook and shackle.

Usage Note:

Do not overload crane scale, this will damage loadcell;

Do not leave load hung on the digital balance for long. This will decrease accuracy and shorten loadcell life;

3. Operations

Power On/Off

Long press to power on the scale. Scale performs initialization and power-on tests, shows weight detection, and then auto zero. For information about Auto-Zero, refer to Scale Configuration in the Technical Manual. Long press to power off the scale. Off message shows OFF.

When 3 batteries' voltage is lower than 3.2 V, the scale will auto power off itself. Replace the dead batteries with new ones.

Zero

Short press TARE to zero. Z shows. For information about Manual-Zero Range, refer to Scale Configuration in the Technical Manual.

Tare In/Out

In gross mode, long press TARE or press to tare in. T shows. Tare will reduce the apparent overload range of scale. For example, if a 500*0.2 scale has a 100kg container as its tare, the scale will overload at a net weight 401.8kg (500 - 100 + additional 9 divisions).

In net mode, long press TARE or press to tare out. T disappears.

Lock/Unlock

Press HOLD to lock screen. H shows.

Press or again to unlock screen. H disappears.

Unit Switch

Long press HOLD to switch the unit between kg, lb, and N. When unit is kg shows. When the unit is lb shows. When the unit is N, shows. For more information about the User Unit, refer to Scale Configuration in the Technical Manual.

4. User Setup

Press first then press or press and simultaneously 3 seconds to enter User Setup menu shows.

Auto-Off Timing

Press TARE to enter Auto-Off Timing. The display shows the current setting. Press HOLD to change the timing value. Auto-Off Timing can be set to: (disabled), (5 min), (15 min), (30 min), (60 min). It is disabled by default. The Auto-Off function maximizes the scale's battery life against people's carelessness in not powering off the scale when it's not in use. Auto-Off starts the countdown timer when there is no action, or the load is stable. Key pressing or motion in the load restarts the countdown timer.

Backlight Time

Press

to enter Backlight Time. The display shows the current setting.

to change the backlight

Backlight Time can be set to: OFF (disabled), 5 (5 seconds), 15 (15 seconds), 30 (30 seconds), 60 (60 seconds), ON (always on).

Display Brightness

to enter Display Brightness. The display shows the current setting.

Display Brightness can be set to levels 1-5.

Dim display brightness saves battery power dramatically.

Hold/Peak Function

Enter Hold/Peak Function. Shows.

Hold/Peak Function can be set to: (hold enabled), (peak enabled),

Exit User Setup.

5. Battery Maintenance

To maximize battery life, please follow the battery maintenance guide.

This scale is powered by 3 AA 1.5V batteries. This remote is powered by 2 AAA 1.5V batteries. Battery houses at the rear of the scale can be opened by screwing off screws.

In order to conserve battery life, enable Auto-Off and display brightness. When 3 batteries' voltage is lower than 3.2V , the scale will auto power off it. Please replace the dead batteries with new ones.

6. Troubleshooting

Simple problems can be resolved as the below-listed solution. If problems st exist, please contact your local representative.
