How to install Vevor roofing panels correctly?

Installation must be done by an adult. Install the panels with the grid facing down, the marked side facing up (UV protection). Maintain a minimum slope of 5 degrees, do not stand directly on the panels, and wear protective gloves.

Can the panels be cut to the desired size?

Yes, the panels can be cut with a sharp knife or saw. Firmly secure the panel to avoid vibrations. After cutting, clean the edges to remove debris.

Plastic roof board is a hollow board.

Installation considerations

1. According to the use scenario, you need to buy the fixed bracket that meets the strength requirements.
2. During transportation, do not put heavy objects on the plastic roof panels and do not contact the plastic roof panels with sharp objects.
3. Before installation, it is recommended to seal all open ends of the roof plate with aluminum seals (additional purchase) to prevent dust and insects from entering the plate and affect the light transmittance.
4. Both sides of the middle cavity plate are provided with a protective film. To keep the panel surface clean, do not damage the film before installation.
5. During installation, the protective film of the edge part can be stripped about 5cm as required and completely removed after installation.
6. When installing, follow the instructions on the surface of the product and install the marked upward side to face ultraviolet light.
7. The plastic roof plate should be installed with the grille facing down, which reduces the internal dust accumulation and makes the condensed water easy to be discharged.
8. For horizontal installation (roof, skylight, etc.), the minimum tilt angle is 5 degrees; a steeper installation facilitates drainage and self-cleaning and prevents hardware fasteners from rusting.
9. Do not stand directly on the panel during installation.
10. After installation, remove dirt from the chamber plate.

Cleaning and Care

If the plastic roof plate has a small surface area, the product can be cleaned with a neutral detergent (such as ethanol or butyl cellosolve).

The surface can be cleaned with a sponge or soft cloth and then rinsed with water.

If the area is large, it is recommended to use a low-pressure cleaning machine to wash the plastic roof board with clean water.

Avoid rubbing the surface of the cavity plastic roof plate with hard objects. Plastic roof panels should not be cleaned using alkaline materials or cleaners incompatible with polycarbonate (for example, benzene, gasoline, acetone, carbon tetrachloride, etc.).

Avoid direct contact with incompatible chemicals.

Product Cutting

Plastic roof panels can be cut with a sharp knife. The cuts should be made carefully to avoid vibration, which may cause injury.

Remove dirt after cutting to keep the plastic roof slab clean.

Product drilling

The plastic roof panels can be drilled with a common drill bit. The diameter of the drill hole shall be 150% of the screw diameter to allow for thermal expansion and shrinkage of the absorption plate.

Do not drill holes within 40 mm of the edge of the plate.

Sealing material

Plastic roof panels can be sealed with neoprene (CR), EPDM (EPDM), window silicone, or acrylic resin. When using other materials, the chemical

compatibility with the plastic roof board material should be considered. In addition, the thermal expansion and aging resistance of the material should also be compatible with the plastic roof board.
