Frequently Asked Questions - QD-XDP11 Vevor

What is the minimum pressure required to use this surface cleaner?
The surface cleaner requires a minimum pressure of 1500 PSI (104 bar) to operate properly. If your pressure washer is lower, it may not clean effectively.
How to clean clogged nozzles?
Remove the nozzles using an 11 mm wrench, rinse the holes with fresh water and use the included cleaning needle to unclog if necessary. Wrap the threads with Teflon tape before reassembling.
What to do if the spray bar does not rotate?
This may be due to an internal defect or a dislodged retaining ring. Do not use the device and contact our customer service for assistance.
How to attach the surface cleaner to my pressure washer?
Pull the collar back on the quick-connect end of the wand, push the surface cleaner into place, then push the collar forward to lock. Make sure it is securely attached.
What surfaces can I clean with this product?
It is designed for cleaning hard, flat outdoor surfaces: concrete, asphalt, pavers, pool decks, etc. Do not use on soft surfaces like wood.
Are there important safety instructions to follow?
Yes, always wear ANSI Z87.1 approved safety goggles, do not exceed maximum pressure, keep children away, and never point the nozzles at people.
How to maintain the cleaner after each use?
Clean any dirt under the housing and rollers, rinse with clean water, check for loose or damaged parts, and store in a dry place.
What to do if there is a leak at the swivel connection?
The o-ring is likely damaged. Replace it by removing the body screw with a 5 mm hex key, change the o-ring, then screw back.
What accessories are included in the kit?
The kit contains the surface cleaner, two extension rods, Teflon tape, two large and two small o-rings, two spare nozzles, and one cleaning needle.
How to fix a streaky cleaning pattern?
Streaks often indicate a clogged nozzle or cleaning too fast. Clean or replace the nozzles, and slow down your cleaning pace.

  • Use the right tool for the job. DO NOT attempt to force small equipment for the work of larger industrial equipment. There are certain applications for which this equipment was designed. It will do the job better and safely at the capacity for which it was intended. DO NOT use this equipment for a purpose for which it was not intended.

WORK AREA SAFETY

- Inspect the work area before each use. Keep work area clean, dry, clutter-free, and well lit. Cluttered, wet, or dark work areas can result in injury. Using the product in confined work areas may put you dangerously close to other cutting tools and rotating parts.

- Do not use the product where there is a risk of causing a fire or explosion; e.g., in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust. The product can create sparks, which may ignite the flammable liquids, gases, or dust.

- Do not allow the product to come into contact with an electrical source. The tool is not insulated and contact will cause electrical shock.

- Keep children and bystanders away from the work area while operating the tool. Do not allow children to handle the product.

- Be aware of all power lines, electrical circuits, water pipes, and other mechanical hazards in your work area. Some of these hazards may be hidden from your view and may cause personal injury and/or property damage if contacted.
