OWNER'S MANUAL
The helmets are technologically advanced for the motorcycle rider's protection, which are made just for motorcycle riding only. They cannot guarantee the same safety standard for different uses. In any accident, especially in the presence of strong impact, neither our helmets, nor any other helmet can eliminate the risk of serious or fatal injuries.

SAFETY WARNINGS
Please read this manual very carefully before wearing your helmet and keep it in a safe place for future reference. The instructions are very important for your safety. Avoid exposing your helmet to intense light sources. If your helmet is painted with one of the following fluorescent colors: yellow, red, orange, and green, please pay attention to the following instructions for detailed information.

1. READ THIS SECTION AND FOLLOW ITS INSTRUCTIONS SCRUPULOUSLY BEFORE USING YOUR NEW HELMET
The main function of a helmet is to protect your head in case of impact. This is accomplished by the shock-absorbing capacities of various types of materials of different densities.

2. IF YOUR HELMET IS SUBJECTED TO AN IMPACT, DO NOT PUT IT ON.
Never use a helmet that has suffered an impact. Although visible damage may appear on the shell, the helmet accomplishes its shock-absorbing function through alteration and/or partial destruction. In essence, a helmet is therefore unable to perform the functions for which it was designed after a severe impact. A helmet that has suffered a severe blow should be discarded and replaced or returned for competent inspection.

3. SIZING AND PROPER POSITIONING.
WARNING! SIZING is probably the single most important function you as a helmet owner must perform to allow your helmet to protect your head. SIZING should always be performed under the supervision of an authorized dealer. By the time you read this manual, it should have already been determined that your helmet is of the proper size for your head. If you did not put your helmet on with the guidance of an authorized dealer, WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND you immediately return to your local authorized dealer and ask him or her to help you determine if indeed your helmet fits your head. Should that be impossible for any reason, please read the following sizing instructions very carefully. Should you determine that your helmet is not of the proper size, please return to your authorized dealer and exchange your helmet with one that fits. Do not ride with a helmet that is either too small or too large for your head.

4. DO NOT MODIFY YOUR HELMET IN ANY WAY, IN PARTICULAR:
Do not modify the features of your helmet. Do not scratch, cut, or perforate the helmet. Do not insert screws, and do not paint it again. Do not modify the interior in any way. Do not remove any of the helmet's rubber rims. Their main purpose is to protect you from the sharp edges of the shell. Removing them could prove extremely dangerous in case of an accident. Do not modify in any way the padding. Please remember to use only original spare parts.

5. SIZING INSTRUCTIONS.
A safe helmet is one that fits your head snugly. Wear your helmet and shake your head left to right and right to left. Shake your head backwards and forwards. Move your helmet with your hands. If you feel the helmet is loose, if it slips away on your head during these operations, you need a smaller size. If you feel constriction or pain, you need a larger one. Now perform what we call the "ROLLOFF TEST" (see picture AB). With one hand, grab the bottom edge of the helmet and try to dislodge it from your head by pulling it upwards and forward with moderate force. If your helmet can be removed from your head this way, it does not fit your head properly. Make sure you have unobstructed lateral view. Make sure you can turn your head to see what's behind you as far as it is safe and comfortable. Make sure you can breathe comfortably and that nothing obstructs the free flow of air coming from below your nose and mouth.

6. SHIELD CARE AND MAINTENANCE.
To clean your shield and maintain its characteristics as long as possible, use warm demineralized water and soap. Do not use water rich in chlorine. Never use alcohol or other solvents. Never use glass-cleaning products sold on the market; they normally contain alcohol. Always remove your shield before cleaning inside your helmet (see instructions #7 below). Reassemble only AFTER you have assured yourself that the cleaning products you used have fully evaporated.

7. POSITIONING.
Do not wear your helmet and/or buckle it if and when it is hanging on the back of your head (as shown in picture A). Always wear your helmet in its correct position (as shown in picture B).
8. CLEANING.
Clean your helmet outside only with tepid water (not warm) and a few drops of
neutral soap or clean with specific products. Dry the helmet at ambient temperature: never expose it to a heat source.

9. TO FASTEN AND UNFASTEN THE CHIN STRAP.
While wearing your properly sized and fitted helmet on your head (follow clockwise instructions #1 and #3), tightly fasten the chin strap by passing the end of the strap through both D-shaped rings. Now thread the end of the strap over one D-ring and through the second one (as shown in picture A) and pull it comfortably tight, back against your throat. To unfasten the chin strap, simply pull the red tab attached to one of the D-rings and unthread the chin strap as shown in the picture. Engage the buckle insert tongued section into housing and push firmly until the tongue locks into position (picture B). Always ensure the chin strap is adjusted so the helmet is held securely in position when the buckle is closed. To release, push the red slide to the up position and simultaneously pull down the tongued section.

10. TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOUR HELMET: DO NOT LEAVE IT HANGING FROM ANY HOOK OF YOUR MOTORCYCLE.
Your helmet is sturdy and tough. Nevertheless, it should be handled with the utmost care. YOUR SAFETY DEPENDS ON IT. Never ride with your helmet hooked on your motorcycle. Make sure you always keep it a safe distance from the muffler and, in general, from any source of heat. In hot weather, always protect your helmet from direct sunlight when you are not riding, particularly if it is in dark colours.

11. KEEP HELMET OUT OF THE REACH OF PETS
To avoid the interior being chewed like a shoe, or scratched like a sofa, as too often happens. Such damage can be irreparable.

12. KEEP YOUR HELMET IN A SAFE PLACE
Do not "park" helmet on mirror stalks or bars to avoid damage to the liner.

13. DO NOT EXPOSE YOUR HELMET TO SOLVENTS
Including gasoline or their fumes, to avoid damage to shields, small plastic components, and interior.
