How to install Vevor LYW8292C1206 acoustic panels?

Two methods are possible: glue directly on a clean, dry wall, or screw using the provided screws. For a more robust ceiling installation, increase the number of screws (see manual).

Can I paint the panels?

It is not recommended to paint the panels as it could alter their acoustic properties and the appearance of the slats. Use them as is.

How to cut the panels to the right size?

Use a circular saw or a sharp knife. First measure the space, mark the cut line, then cut slowly to avoid chipping the MDF.

Is additional acoustic treatment necessary?

For better absorption, the manual recommends installing an absorbent wool behind the panels, between the wooden supports.

What tools are necessary for installation?

You will need an electric screwdriver, a spirit level, a tape measure, a pencil, a circular saw, a staple gun, a knife, construction adhesive, and possibly a stud finder.

Are the panels suitable for ceiling installation?

Yes, but it is imperative to use additional screws (20 screws for 2400x200 models, 12 for 1200x600) and to check the solidity of the fixation. Do not use only glue.

How to clean the panels?

Wipe gently with a dry cloth to remove dust. Avoid water and chemicals.

Are there safety precautions to follow?

Installation must be done by an adult. Regularly check the stability of the fixings. Never use glue on the ceiling, as it may detach.

Are the provided screws sufficient for all models?

The package contains 34 screws. For a simple wall installation, 8 screws per panel are enough. For the ceiling, plan for additional screws not provided.

Can I install the panels on an irregular wall?

Yes, by using the screw method. If the wall is curved, fix screws at the curved points to hold the panel. Use glue on flat areas.

1. Please read and understand this manual carefully before using the Acoustic MDF slat wall panels

The installation should be done by an adult, and children should not without supervision.

1. Please ensure that the Acoustic MDF slat wall panels is firmly installed otherwise he may fall off and cause harm to people.
2. Check the stability and safety of the product fixation regularly. If the product is loose, it should be strengthened immediately.
3. For safety purposes, prohibit separate glue to mounting panels on the ceiling. Due to uneven glue or poor quality, the panel will be warped off.

• Remove all fittings from the plastic bags and separate them into the groups.
• Keep children and animals away from the work area, small parts c choke if swallowed.

• Parts of the assembly will be easier with 2 people.

THE STANDARD INSTALLATION METHOD

Step1:Preparing the wall or ceiling

• Make sure the surfaces are clean and dry, without nails and screw

Measuring the height and width

Step 3: Cutting the panels

- Cut products with circular saws and knives for your size requiremer need.

Step 4:Mounting the panel

A: Simple installed on the wall, can use the glue; first fix the glue or back of the product, and then paste on the wall; If pasted on a curve use screws in the curved position to attach the product to the wall.

B. Use 8 screws to install on the wall; The screws should be fixed thr the black part, which is more beautiful.

Note: If necessary, install a wooden seal at the end of the panel to aesthetics; but the wood seal shall be purchased extra yourself.

THE INSTALLATION METHOD FOR HIGHEST SOUND ABSORPTION

Step 1: The preparation of wall or ceiling

Step 2: Installing sound absorbing device;

A: We recommend installing the keel initially, then the sound absorption wool, and then the wooden racks and panels. With this combination, will get the highest sound absorption.

Mounting the panel

• Using the electric screwdriver to screw through the black felt into the wooden racks.
