Why does the temperature not reach the set value and does the timer start a countdown?

This is normal. The timer should only be activated once the temperature has reached the desired value. Wait for the display to show the set temperature before pressing the timer. Make sure the temperature reaches the recommended settings for a successful transfer.

What are the tips for successful transfers with the Vevor Press?

For perfect and long-lasting transfers, three elements are important: a firm and even surface (avoid ironing boards and plastic tables), use the recommended settings for the heat transfer vinyl and base material, and apply firm pressure during transfer.

How much pressure should I apply to the press?

It depends on the application. A firm pressure corresponds to two hands with a body weight of 15 to 40 pounds (about 7 to 18 kg). A gentle pressure corresponds to one hand with a weight of 5 to 15 pounds (about 2 to 7 kg). Use a waist-height table to facilitate application.

Why does the color of the design fade after pressing on clothing?

This can come from three causes: the pressure is too low, the temperature is not hot enough, or the design was not pressed long enough. Try adjusting these parameters to get the desired result.

I followed the instructions but the heat transfer vinyl did not stick. What should I do?

Common reasons are: the press did not fully contact the material (due to seams or zippers), the settings are not correct, or the heat was not applied to the front and back of the design for the recommended duration. Touch up the front and back with heat for an additional 15 seconds.

The temperature of the press decreases when I apply it to the image. Is this normal?

Yes, this is normal. The temperature may fluctuate briefly due to the difference between the heated plate and the base material. The machine quickly returns to the selected setting and the adhesion of the image will not be affected.

My machine turns off by itself. Why?

This is the auto shut-off safety feature. After 10 minutes of inactivity or without pressing a button, the device will alert you and then turn off. Simply turn it back on to continue.

Can I use the press for materials other than textile?

Yes, you can use the press on various heat-resistant materials, such as wood, ceramic or metal, provided you use the appropriate temperature and pressure settings. Consult the manual for specific recommendations.

How to clean the heating plate?

Make sure the machine is unplugged and completely cooled down. Wipe the plate with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive products or liquids that could seep into the device.

What to do in case of breakdown or malfunction?

①Power Switch Key In the shutdown state, press the key in a short to power on. In the power on state, press and the key for 3 seconds to shutdown or select the temperature gear. ②Temperature Settings Key In the power on state, press the key in a short switch the temperature.

1. The left indicator is on, indicating that the temperature is the first C/285°F).
2. The left indicator and the middle indicator are on at the same indicating the second gear temperature (160°C/320°F).
3. The three indicators are on at the same time, indicating the third erature (185°C/365°F).

▶ Operation guide

A. Setting: Plug in and switch on. Set the temperature according to different base materials and iron-on types. B. Get prepared: Make your workbench flat and stable. Use a heat-proof material or a folded fluffy towel to protect your workbench surface. C. Preheat the base material: Place your base material on the mat/towel for a few seconds to remove wrinkles and moisture. D. Position and press: Place your design wherever you want on the base material, and place the machine on the design. E. Flip and repeat: Flip the base material and apply heat on the backside of the design for 15 seconds. If the transfer paper or heat transfer vinyl doesn't lift easily, reapply and reheat

for a few more seconds.

F. Peel to finish: Peel off transfer paper or HTV (Please check if the transfer is warm peel or cold peel, and peel off accordingly).

Note

Please switch off the machine and unplug the power cord when the machine is not in use. It may be easy, but it's also HOT. Handle with care.

▶ TROUBLESHOOTING

Q: Why does the temperature not reach the set value and when I press the Timer button, the machine begins to countdown. Is there something wrong?

A: Please don't worry, it is normal. After the temp reaches your desired value (setting value), you can press the Timer. Make sure that your temp reaches the recommended settings.

Q: What are the tips for successful transfers with VEVOR Press? A: For perfect transfers that last, three things are important:

1. A firm, even surface. Iron boards and plastic tables cannot provide the firm, even surface needed for successful transfers. We suggest you use our silicone mat.
2. Use the recommended settings for the iron-on and base material you're using.
3. Make sure you apply firm pressure when transferring.

Q: How hard do I have to press?

A: Some applications call for "gentle" pressure, and some call for "firm" pressure. Firm pressure means pressing down with two hands and 15-40 lbs body weight. Gentle pressure means one hand with 5-15 lbs of body weight. In all cases, a waist-high table is recommended for ease in applying the recommended pressure.

Q: When pressed onto the garments, the color of the design is faded?

A: The reason comes from three aspects: the pressure is too low, the temperature is not hot enough, or the design has not been pressed for enough time. You need to try more to get the right temperature, time, and pressure.

Q: I followed the instructions and my iron-on didn't stick. What happened? How do I get it to work?

A: The most common reasons for your images not sticking:

1. Press machine did not make full contact with the base material. This could be because of seams, zippers, or anything else that will cause you to not have a flat surface.
2. Verify that your press machine is set to the recommended settings.
3. Be sure heat has been applied to both the front and the back of the design for the recommended time.
4. Re-touch the front and back of the material with heat for an additional 10-15 seconds.

Q: The Press Machine temperature goes down when I apply it to the image. Is this something wrong? A: Press temperature may fluctuate briefly when placed on the base material after heating. This is due to the difference in temperature of the heated plate and the base material.

Don't worry, the machine temperature will quickly return to the selected setting. Your image adhesion will not be affected.

Q: My machine keeps turning off, and I have to turn it back on. Why?

A: This is the auto-shut off safety feature of the Heat Press Machine. After 10 minutes of inactivity, or no button pushes, the device will alert you and then shut off.
