Do not stretch beyond 50% of the initial length. For example, a 40-inch strap can be stretched up to a maximum of 60 inches. Excessive stretching may damage the hook and cause dangerous release.

SAFETY INSTRUCTION AND PRECAUTIONS

WARNING:

Stretch cord carefully, uncontrolled release can cause severe injury to unprotected body parts, particularly eyes.
Keep face out of the direct path of a bungee cord in case it suddenly snaps.
Do not stretch cord more than 50% of its original length. (Example: 40 in. cord stretches to 60 in. MAX)
Overstretching cord can cause hook failure, resulting in sudden uncontrolled release.
Inspect hooks to make sure they are not bent or damaged.
Wear safety glasses when attaching and releasing.
Secure hooks carefully. Do not attach hook by its tip.
The correct stress point of the retractor should be the top of the open end. Do not pull any object beyond the size of the retractor.
