Locate wall studs with a stud finder. Mark the cutout with a pencil, cut the existing tile, insert the frame and fix it to the studs. Apply a continuous silicone sealant bead around the niche before inserting it. Hold in place until drying.

How to ensure the niche is waterproof?

Stick the provided waterproof membrane inside the cavity, extending it 6 inches onto adjacent walls. Then apply a continuous silicone sealant in the interior corners before fixing the niche.

Can I use this niche with a glass shower partition?

Yes, it can be installed in a tiled shower wall, including near a glass partition. Just ensure perfect waterproofing at the joints.

How much weight can the Vevor niche support?

1. Locate and mark the center lines of adjacent framing studs using a stud finder or by tapping the wall. Draw a level line between the two walls at your desired height for the niche.

1. Trace the cut line with pencil, above the center line, cut out a car wall board along the traced line. Be sure the top and bottom lines are level.

1. Level and fasten the surrounding framing to adjacent vertical studs so that the dimensions match the niche flange.

1. Glue waterproofing membrane inside to seal the entire cave and extend 6 inches onto the four sides of the surrounding wall. Creating a watertight seal in the cave is very important.

1. Apply your setting material and set your tile, marble, or stone directly on the shower wall. It is best for the tile to be symmetric around the niche. The tile can end right on the niche for a very clean look.

1. Remove the protective film of the tape, apply an uninterrupted bead of silicone sealant from the inside corner of the niche to the edge. Ensure the sealant is applied to the correct thickness.

1. Insert the niche fixture into the cave. Press the flange tightly and ensure the niche is plumb and level. Wipe off the excess sealant along the perimeter edges.

The BAL-306010-MB is equipped with LED light strips, and the installation of light strips is as follows:
