Please read this manual carefully before using the device for the first time and keep it for future reference.

important safety instructions

This equipment may be used by children aged 8 years and over and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or a lack of experience and knowledge provided that they have received supervision or instructions regarding the safe use of the equipment and understand the hazards involved.

Children should not play with the device.

Cleaning and maintenance by the user must not be carried out by children, unless they are over 8 years old and are supervised.

Keep the device and its cable out of reach of children under 8 years of age.

Check the power cable regularly.

If the power cable is damaged, do not attempt to repair or replace it alone, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service department or persons of similar qualification to avoid danger.

• Before connecting the appliance, check that the supply voltage of your appliance corresponds to that of your electrical installation. Your device must be connected to an earthed socket.
• Repair of electrical equipment must always be done by a qualified electrician. Repair by unqualified personnel would expose the user to real danger.
• Your appliance is intended for domestic use inside your home. It cannot be used in a commercial context.
• Do not allow the power cord to come into contact with hot surfaces or hang from your work surface within reach of young children.
• Do not place the unit near a heat source.
• The walls of the device become hot during use. To avoid any risk of burns, never touch hot surfaces, use potholders or protective gloves.
• CAUTION: Accessible surfaces can become very hot during operation.
• Do not move the unit when it is hot or in use. If you need to move it, turn it off, unplug it and wait until it cools before moving it. Always use protective gloves when moving the unit.

• Always unplug the unit after each use and unplug it before cleaning.

- Never immerse the power cord, plug, or any other part in water or any other liquid. Risk of electric shock.

- Wait until the unit has cooled down completely before cleaning it.

- Do not clean the unit with a metal sponge and/or abrasive products as this may damage it.

- This product must not be connected to an external timer or remote control system.

- Do not use the device for any purpose other than that specified in this manual. This appliance is designed to heat or cook food with suitable cooking vessels.

- Any other use may damage the device or cause injury.

- Place your device on a stable and level surface.

- Never pull the cord to unplug the unit or to move it.

- Do not handle the device with wet hands.

- Children under 8 years of age should be kept at a distance unless they are under continuous supervision.

- Do not use a steam cleaning device.

- Attention! Leaving food unattended on a cooktop using fat or oil can be dangerous and start a fire.

- Never try to extinguish a fire with water, but stop the unit and cover the flames with a cover or fire blanket, for example.

- WARNING: If the surface is cracked, disconnect the unit from the power supply to avoid risk of electric shock.

- For instructions on cleaning the unit, refer to the paragraph below in the manual.

• This appliance is intended for use in domestic and similar applications, such as

- WARNING: During use, the appliance and its accessible parts become hot. Care should be taken not to touch the heating elements. Children under the age of 8 should be kept away, unless they are under constant supervision.

Unpack the device. Remove all labels from the product. Please check its completeness and if it is in good condition. If the unit is damaged or malfunctions, do not use it and report it to your dealer or an after-sales service. Keep all packaging out of reach of children. There is a risk of accident if children play with packaging materials.

• Place the unit on a flat, dry and heat-resistant surface.
• The switch must be in the "OFF" (MIN) position. Connect the device.
• Before first use, heat the unit for 10 minutes to fix the protective varnish on the plate and give it maximum resistance. Turn it off and let it cool down. Your appliance can now be used.
• Use only pots or pans with a flat and thick bottom designed for ceramic hobs. Their diameter shall not be less than the diameter of the cooking plate to avoid unnecessary heat loss.
• To heat the plate, turn the switch knob to the right to bring it to the desired position (MIN to level 3 : low heat and MAX to level 4 : high heat).
• After use, place the thermostat knob in the "MIN" position and disconnect the unit.
• The plate continues to heat up after it is switched off. You can use this residual heat to heat food or finish cooking.

During the first start-up, smoke may be released from the hot plate, this is normal and will only last for a short time. This smoke will no longer be present later.

• Remove the plug from the socket and wait for the unit to cool before cleaning it.
• Wipe the unit with absorbent paper or a soft cloth.
• Never clean your device with abrasive products as this will damage the coating.
• Do not immerse the unit in water or any other liquid.

This product is guaranteed for a fixed period of time with the distributor from the date of purchase against any failure resulting from a manufacturing or material defect. This warranty does not cover defects or damage resulting from improper installation, improper use or abnormal wear and tear of the product. The device must be returned in its original packaging and accompanied by the receipt, subject to proper handling. Therefore, observe the operating instructions and safety instructions given above. In addition, we cannot guarantee your device if you or a third party has made any modifications or repairs.
