BEFORE PUTTING THE APPLIANCE ON WORKING
- Please read carefully the instructions for use of this manual in its entirety before putting it into operation.

Safety measures for its use
ABefore using the appliance, make sure that the voltage used corresponds to that shown on the appliance's label. Always connect the plug to a suitable power source.
To prevent electrical hazards, do not immerse cord, plug, or appliance in water or other liquid. Please read the cleaning instructions carefully.
Do not use unauthorized accessories. This will void the warranty and may cause accidents.
Do not let cord hang over edge of table or shelf. Keep it away from hot surfaces. Do not allow it to come into contact with sharp or blunt objects. Do not operate if the cord or plug is damaged or if you notice that the appliance is not working properly.
Do not leave the appliance running unattended. Always switch off the appliance or unplug it (by pulling the plug, not the cable). To disconnect, grasp plug and remove from outlet. Never disconnect by pulling on the cable.
In case of any repair, cable replacement or adjustment, please consult a qualified technician, or take the device to the Official Technical Service.

Operation

CAUTION: Before starting cooking, clean the base of the inner pot and the surface of the heating plate. When inserting the inner pot into the cavity, turn it gently left and right until it is correctly positioned on the heating plate.

Use the measuring cup included in the package to add the desired amount of rice for cooking and place it in the inner container (max. 3 cups in 0.6L model / 5 cups in 1L model).

It is recommended to add one cup of water for each cup of rice added to the inner vessel. You can add up to half a glass of water to the total amount if necessary.
Place the lid on the appliance and close it tightly. Gently turn the container left and right.
Insert the power cord into a suitable socket. Do not switch on the appliance until you are ready to cook, as the keep warm function will be activated as soon as the appliance is connected to the mains.
Press the switch button. The indicator light will come on to indicate that cooking has started.
When cooking is finished the switch button will be deactivated. Keep the inner pot covered with the lid for at least 15 minutes to allow the steam to cook the rice.
Once the process has been completed, disconnect the plug from the socket.

CAUTION: The vessel reaches very high temperatures. Do not touch the pan during operation or immediately after cooking.

CAUTION: Once switched off and disconnected, the appliance may remain hot for several minutes. Do not touch or move it until it has cooled down completely.
Cleaning

WARNING: Before cleaning the appliance, make sure that it is disconnected from the mains and that the appliance has cooled down completely.
Clean the outside of the unit with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Clean the cavity with warm water and a non-abrasive sponge. Clean the heating plate with a soft brush to remove food debris.
Do not use hard brushes, metal utensils or abrasive detergents to clean the appliance.
You can use an anti-grease product to clean the dirt accumulated in the basket.
Use only suitable products that do not damage the surface of the appliance. Then clean the appliance with hot water to remove any remaining grease remover in the basket.
CAUTION: Never immerse the device in water.

This appliance is intended for household use. Do not use it for commercial use. Failure to do so will invalidate the warranty.
