FUNCTIONANDPURPOSE

This drop-in is intended and designed to hold containers of food at properserving temperatures. Hot food stations are not intended for designed to cook raw food to prepare food. Food must be prepared and placed in food stations at properserving temperatures. This equipment is not intended for household, industrial or laboratory use.

1. Plugelectrical power cord into a outlet that matches herated voltage on the name plate.
2. Turnthetemperaturecontroltothemaximumheatsetting.Coverthe well(s).Preheatfor30minutes.
3. Placecontainers of hot food, above 140°F (60°C), intopreheated equipment.
4. Reduceheatsettingtoalevelthatwillmaintainasafeholding temperatureandmaintainfoodquality.

NOTICE:Monitorfoodtemperaturecloselyforfoodsafety. The UnitedStatesPublicHealthServicerecommendsthathot foodbeheldataminimumof140°F(60°C)tohelpprevent bacteriagrowth.

1. Use gloves, mittsorpotholder stop protect hands when removing hot food containers.

CLEANING

Tomaintaintheappearanceandincreasetheservicelife,cleanyour equipmentdaily.

NOTICE: Donotusecausticcleaning chemicals, steelwoolor commerciallimeremovalproductstocleantheequipment. Thoroughlyrinseequipmentwithwateraftercleaning.

1. Remove hot food containers. Use gloves, mittsorpotholder to protect hands
2. Turnthetemperaturecontroltothe "0" setting.
3. Unplugthedrop-in.
4. Allowthedrop-intocoolcompletely.
5. Removetheshieldfromthebottomofthewell.
6. Handwashtheshieldinsoapywater.
7. Drytheshield.
8. Useadampclothorspongedippedinsoapywatertocleanthe insideofthewellandtheoutsideoftheequipment.
9. Useadampclothorspongetothoroughlywipeoffthesoapywater.

TROUBLESHOOTING

ProblemMightbeCausedByCourseofAction
Drop-indoesnotheattothe correcttemperature.	Loworincorrectvoltagetounit.	Verifythatvoltageratingonthedrop-inmatchesthesourcevoltage.If not,havealicensedelectricianinstallpropersourcevoltage.
