BEFORE FIRST USE

  • Remove and discard all packaging materials, promotional labels, and tape from the appliance.
  • Take out all accessories from the package and read the manual carefully. Pay particular attention to the operational instructions, warnings, and important safeguards to avoid injury or property damage.
  • We recommend placing the pizza stone inside and positioning the oven door on the appliance. Then, run the oven at maximum temperature for 10 minutes without adding food. This process helps eliminate any packaging residue or odour traces, ensuring safe and optimal performance.
  • It is normal for some smoke and odours to appear during the first use. This is due to the protective coating on the surface of the heating elements. This will lessen and eventually disappear with regular use.
  • Ensure the area is well-ventilated.

USE

STEP 1: POWER ON

• Evenly place the pizza stone on the rack.
- Press power (10) and rotation (11).
- Ensure the stone is rotating smoothly.

STEP 2: SELECT PROGRAMME AND SET TEMPERATURE

  • Rotate the functional dial (8) to choose a program.
  • Adjust the temperature using the temperature dial (2/4) if needed.
  • Press the dial (8) again to confirm, and the pizza oven starts up.

STEP 3: PREHEAT

  • The pizza oven will preheat for about 15 minutes before it has reached the desired temperature.
  • During preheating, time and temperature settings are not adjustable.
  • A preheat icon on the display will indicate preheating.
  • Do not insert food during preheating.

STEP 4: SET TIME AND INSERT PIZZA

  • Press the time button (6) and adjust the time using the functional dial (8).
  • Press the functional dial (8) to start the timer countdown.
Note: The timer is only for reference. When the time is up, the appliance will continue to operate until manually stopped or after 25 minutes of inactivity.
  • Place the pizza in the centre of the stone for even cooking. If you are a beginner, we recommend stopping the rotating stone when inserting your pizza.
  • It is recommended to monitor closely during cooking, as food can easily burn in high temperatures.

STEP 5: COOKING FINISHED

  • Remove the pizza from the appliance using the pizza peel.
  • Allow the steaming hot pizza to cool slightly before cutting it into slices.

SETTING MEMORY

This appliance is equipped with an automatic memory function:

  • After setting the time and temperature and operating the appliance, the new settings are automatically saved, overwriting the previous ones.
  • These settings will be displayed the next time you press the reset button or during the next startup.

To restore the default original settings for time and temperature:

- Press and hold the reset button (7) and the time button (6) simultaneously for 3 seconds.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • The appliance should be cleaned after every use.
  • Do not clean the main unit or accessories in the dishwasher.
  • All cleaning and maintenance should only be carried out when the appliance is cool and unplugged from the power outlet.

CLEANING

  1. Remove all accessories from the appliance.
  2. Clean the main unit and the control panel with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid excessive moisture.
  3. Rinse the pizza peel and the oven door with water and dry before storing.

PIZZA STONE CLEANING

It is completely normal that the pizza stone will darken, and staining will occur with use.

  1. Scrape off burnt bits using a plastic or metal scraper. A stiff brush may help with stains.
  2. Use a slightly damp cloth to gently wipe the stone.
  3. For stubborn stains, mix equal parts baking soda and water into a paste. Apply it to the stain, let sit and rinse with water.
  4. Store the pizza stone in a dry or warm place to avoid moisture damage.

PIZZA STONE CARE

- Avoid extreme temperature changes to the stone. This can cause the stone to crack.

  • Do not put frozen foods on the pizza stone.
  • Do not put a cold pizza stone into a hot oven.
  • Do not cool the stone with water while it is still hot.

  • Do not use the pizza stone over open flame.

  • Handle the pizza stone carefully. It is fragile and can break if bumped or dropped.
  • If you clean the stone with water, ensure it is completely dry before the next use. The moisture can cause cracking.

TIPS AND TRICKS

  • If you are using large fresh vegetables, meat, or seafood, it is advised to switch to the American pizza programme, as these ingredients require longer cooking times.
  • For large frozen vegetables, meat, or seafood, use the frozen pizza programme, as frozen ingredients require longer cooking time.
  • When preparing Deep dish pizza, pay attention to its thickness when baking, as it may rise and touch the top heater and burn.
