All models are intended to keep food at properserving temperatures. For hot food holding, food must beat properserving temperature when placed into the drop-in. The equipment is not designed to cook raw food.

800W models are intended to thermalize refrigerated, previously cooked food and hold hot food at a safe serving temperatures.

This equipment is not intended for household, industrial or laboratory use.

FCCSTATEMENT

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with Part 18 of FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radiofrequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference or radiocommunication. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference or radioor television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

1. Remove all packing material and tape, as well as any protective plastic from the equipment.
2. Cleananyglueresidueleftoverfromtheplasticortape.

NOTICE: Gasketinstallationismandatory. Failuretoinstallthe gasketwillvoidthewarranty.

1. Turntheequipmentsothebottomisfacingup.

2. Settheequipmentonastablesurface, such as a countertop.

3. Lubricatethegasketwithasmallamountofliquiddishsoapor water.

4. Carefullypressthegrooveofthegasketontotheundersideedgeoftherim. Takecaretoevenlypressthegasketasyoufeeditontotherim, withoutstretchingit.

Rim Gasket

1. If needed, use ascissorstotrimthegaskettotheproperlength.

InstalltheDrop-in

1. Insertthedrop-inintothecountertopasshownintheillustration below.

1. Insert the included four brackets with thumbscrewsintoslots. Chooseslotsthat position the thumbscrewsclosetothebottom of the countertop
2. HAND-TIGHTEN the thumbscrew slowly and in an alternating pattern. Tighten just to resistance approximately when the screw just touches the bottom of the countertop, then tighten an additional ½ turn. Don to overtighten.

NOTICE: Donotuseanyhandtoolswhentighteningthethumb screwsonthisproduct.

1. If desired, place bead of siliconecaulk between the gasket and the countertop.
   5.Plugthepowercordintoagroundedelectricaloutletwiththe matchingnameplateratedvoltage.

NOTICE: Usingavoltageotherthanthenameplateratedvoltage willcausedamagetotheunit.Incorrectvoltage, modificationtothepowercordorelectricalcomponents candamageunitandwillvoidthewarranty.

InstalltheControlBox

1. Use the included four nuts and screws to secure the control box to themountings surface.

NOTICE: Tightenthescrewstoamaximumof35in-lbs. Do NOT over-tighten.

2.PlugtheUSBcableintothecontrolboxandintothebottomofthedrop-in.

Rethermalization(800WModelsOnly)

1. PresstheON/OFFbuttontoturnontheequipment.

2. FilltheincludedVollrathinductionreadyinsetwithcooked,chilled food. Placetheinsetintotheequipment.Closethelid.Forbestresults keepthelidclosedwhileheatingandserving.

3.PressthefunctionbuttontoselecttheRetherm(Rethermalize)mode.

1. While the food is thermalizing, therether light will illuminate and display will show the target temperature of 165^ F ( 74^ C).

2. Thestirlightmayblinktoindicatethefoodshouldbestirredforeven heating. For best results stir the food often, approximately every 15 minutes.

3. Monitor the food temperature closely for foods safety. The United States Public Health Service recommend sthathot food beheldat a minimum of 140°F (60°C) to help prevent bacteriagrowth.

Note: This equipment monitor the temperature of the inset and automatically adjust the output to maintain the user controlled setpoint. Temperatures displayed may vary from actual food temperatures depending on the type of food and stirring frequency. For best results, adjust these settings as needed to achieve the desired temperature of each menu item. Some food may require higher setting to hold the desired temperature.

1. Thedisplaywillblinkiftheinsetisremovedfromthedrop-in.
2. After the einset has reached approximately 165^ F ( 74^ C), the equipment will switch to hot food holding mode. The warm light will illuminate and the display will show the default setting for Hot Food Holding.
3. Follow the instructions for Hold Hot Food at Serving Temperature. Do not add cold food to thermalized hot food.

PreheattheWarmer

1. PresstheON/OFFbuttontoturnontheequipment.
2. Placetheempty Vollrathinductionreadyinsetintotheequipment.
   3.Pressthearrowuporarrowdowntoselectatemperatureabove 155°F(68°C). Toswitchto°For°C, pressthefunctionbuttonuntilthe displayshowsyourpreference.
3. Allow the equipment to heat for 5 minutes.

HoldHotFoodatServingTemperature

1. FilltheincludedVollrathinductionreadyinsetwithpre-heatedfood, above 155^(68^) . Placetheinsetintotheequipment.Closethelid. Forbestresultskeepthelidclosedwhileheatingandserving.
2. Selectaholdingtemperatureorpresetprogram.Pressthefunction buttontoselectWarmingoroneofthepresetprograms:Soup,CSoup (CreamSoup),Chili,orMac(MacandCheese).
3. Thewarminglightblinksuntiltheinsetheatstothesettemperature.
4. Thestirlightmayblinktoindicatethefoodshouldbestirredforeven heating. For best results stir the food often, approximately every 15 minutes.

NOTICE: Failure to follow these cleaning instructions may lead to product damage that will not be recovered under warranty.

1. Unplugtheequipmentandletitcompletelycool.

2. Use as soft cloth moistened with warm water and mild dish washing detergent to clean the well and therim.
   NOTICE: Do NOT use cleanings solution that contain chlorine or bleaching ingredients. Use of solutions with these ingredients will damage the well and will void the warranty.

3. Use the second clean soft cleans soft cloth moistened with clean warm watertowipe all detergent from the well and therim.

4. Usethethirdsoftcleanclothodrythewellandtherim.

NOTICE: Failure to throughly remove all detergentorthoroughly dry the equipment may result in damage to the equipment.

1. The stainless steel insert is dish washers safe.
