Modifications techniques
Please read and understand these instructions completely before attempting to assemble, operate or install the product.
- The appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
• High voltage! Do not touch the inner electric grids. - Check the local voltage before operating.
- The lamp in this appliance cannot be replaced. Scrap the appliance when the lamp ceases to operate.
- Never put metal objects inside the grids while in operation.
- Keep away from flammables.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
- Do not use in barns, stables or similar places.
- Do not use in locations where flammable vapor or explosive dust is likely to exist.
- Unplug the appliance before cleaning. Clean the plastic enclosure/ grille with dry clothes empty the collection tray every week or when need.
- In the event of an operating problem, stop using the device immediately.
- Never try to repair the device. There are no user-serviceable parts inside the device. Refer to an authorized dealer for service and/or spare parts.
- A service agent/qualified technician should carry out installation and any repairs if required. Do not remove any components or service panels on this product.
• Always switch off and disconnect the power supply to the appliance before cleaning.
• Install the appliance out of the reach of children. - Never insert hands or other objects into the appliance while it is connected to the power supply.
• Install it at least 1 metre away from food preparation areas. - Never use near flammable objects.

- Keep all packaging away from children.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by authorized dealer or a recommended qualified technician in order to avoid a hazard.
- No user-serviceable parts inside. Non user-replaceable light source. The light source in this device shall only be replaced by a qualified person.
- Disconnect from the mains before servicing, cleaning and opening. Wait two minutes to avoid risk of contact with high voltage.
- An electric shock hazard may exist if water from a garden hose is directed at the appliance.
- If the external flexible cable or cord of this device is damaged, it shall be exclusively replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or a similar qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

04 - PRODUCT DETAIL
Remove flying insects without the use of chemicals, sprays or liquids. It uses UV-A tube to attract light sensitive flying insects such as flies, moths, mosquitoes and gnats. These insects are killed when they come into contact with an electrocuted metal grid. Ideal for indoor and covered, dry areas such as houses, conservatories, backyards and anywhere flying insects need to be kept away.
05 - DIRECTIONS FOR USING
- Put the plug into the socket.
- The light will come on and the grid will become electrically charged.
- If you do not use the appliance for an extended period, remove the plug from the electrical socket.

WARNING: Under no circumstances should hands be placed anywhere near the high voltage grid when the appliance is operational.
- Insect activity will be higher at night. For best results, place unit away from other competing light sources to ensure the catch rate.
- Away from places at least 1m where food will be prepared or presented.
- Away from flammable liquids or gases. DANGER OF EXPLOSION.
- The unit should be positioned in between potential entry points, so as to intercept flying insects before they reach sensitive areas.
- Out of reach from flammable objects like curtains, lace curtains etc.
- Typically, hang your insect killer near the seating area, away from seating areas, about 1.5 to 2 metres above the ground. Aim for a distance of at least 3 to 6 metres from places where you normally spend time.

WARNING: Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply before cleaning.
- It is recommended that cleaning is carried out regularly every month.
- Beware: Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid!
- Clean the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth (water with mild detergent).
- Never use aggressive cleaning agents or abrasives. Do not use any sharp or pointed objects. Do not use petrol or solvents! Clean with a damp cloth and detergent if necessary. Do not use abrasive materials.
- Ensure the unit is completely dry before reconnecting it to the power supply.

DISPOSAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE ELECTRICAL PART OF THE PRODUCT
In accordance with Article 26 of the Decree-Law of 14 March 2014 implementing Directive 2012/19/EC, and the Law of 31 March 2015 implementing Directive 2015/863/EU on the reduction of the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment and on waste management.
The crossed-out dustbin symbol on the machine or packaging indicates that the waste generated at the end of its useful life must be collected separately from other waste. The user must therefore take the device to the appropriate collection points at the end of its service life. Sort electronic and electrical waste or send back to the retailer when purchasing new, equivalent devices in a one-to-one process. Appropriate separate collection for subsequent commissioning of the equipment to be recycled, treatment and environmentally sound disposal helps to avoid possible adverse effects on the environment and health, and promote the reuse and/or recycling of the materials to which they belong. Misuse of this product by the user will result in the application of the administrative penalties provided for in the applicable legislation. Batteries contained in the device must be disposed of separately in the appropriate containers for the collection of used batteries.
