  • Leave 10cm of free space at the back of the unit to allow for ventilation of the cooling system.
  • In order to store your food at a stable temperature, avoid leaving the door open for too long.
  • Do not install your appliance near a heat source and avoid direct sunlight.
    • Install your appliance on a flat, clean and stable floor.
  • Do not install any other electrical equipment on your appliance.
  • To ensure your safety, do not place your appliance in damp places.
  • This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications but not in the following cases:

Before installing the equipment

  • Before inserting the device into the power outlet, please check whether the voltage on the equipment nameplate matches the power supply voltage of the enclosure. Different voltages may damage the equipment.
  • The power cable plug is used to disconnect the device from the power supply, so it must always be accessible. To turn off the device, turn off the device, and then disconnect the power cord from the power plug.

Before you put food in the device

ADJUSTING THE TEMPERATURE

MOVING THE REFRIGERATOR.

Pruchasing frozen food

  • Packing must not be damaged.
  • Use by the "use by/ best before/best by" date.
  • If possible, transport deep-frozen food in an insulated bag and place quickly in the appliance.

Sotring frozen food

Store at -18 °C or colder. Aovid opening the appliance door unnecessarily.

Freezing fresh food

Freeze fresh and undamaged food only.

To retain the best possible nutritional value, flavour and colour, vegetables should be blanched before freezing. Aubergines, peppers, zucchini and asparagus do not require blanching.

Note : keep food to be frozen away from food which is already frozen.

  • The folling foods are suitable for freezing :
    Cakes, and pastries, fish and seafood, meat, game, poultry, vegetables, fruit, herbs, eggs without shells, dairy products such as cheese and butter, ready meals and leftovers such as soups, stew, cooked meat and fish, ptoato dishes, souffles and desserts.

- The following foods are not suitable for freezing :

Types of vegetables, which are usually consumed raw, such as lettuce or radishes, Eggys in shells, grapes, whole apples, pears and peaches, hard-boiled eggs, yoghurt, soured milk, sour cream, and mayonnasie.

Packing frozen food

To prevent food from losing its flavour or drying out, place food in airtight packaging.

  1. Place food in packaging.
  2. Remove air.
  3. Seal the wrapping.
  4. Label packaging with contents and dates of freezing.

Suitable packaging:

Plastic film, tubular film made of polyethylene, aluminium foil, freezer containers. These products are available from specialist outlets.

Recommended storage times of frozen food in the freezer drawers

These times vary depending on the type of food. The food that you freeze can be preserved from 1 to 12 months (minimum at -18°C).

TIPS FOR SAVING ENERGY
