• Read these operating instructions carefully before using the device and keep them for future use.
• WARNING : When positioning the appliance, ensure the supply cord is not trapped or damaged.

• To clean your appliance, do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Glass cleaners or soapy water give excellent results.

• Leave 10cm of free space at the back of the unit to allow for ventilation of the cooling system.
• In order to store your food at a stable temperature, avoid leaving the door open for too long.
• Do not install your appliance near a heat source and avoid direct sunlight.
  • Install your appliance on a flat, clean and stable floor.
• Do not install any other electrical equipment on your appliance.
• To ensure your safety, do not place your appliance in damp places.
• This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications but not in the following cases:

- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;

• farm houses and by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
• bed and breakfast type environments;

• catering and similar non-retail applications.

• This device is designed for use inside a house or apartment. It is essential that the temperature of the room in which it is used is not lower than 10^ C or higher than 38^ C for optimal use.

• Children aged from 3 to 8 years are allowed to load and unload refrigerating appliances.
• This device may be used by children 8 years of age or older and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience or knowledge, if they are properly supervised, experience or knowledge, if they are properly supervised or instructions on the safe use of the device have been given to them and the risks involved have been addressed.
  • Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

• To avoid contamination of food, please respect the following instructions:

• Opening the door for long periods can cause a significant increase of the temperature in the compartments of the appliance.
  – Clean regularly surfaces that can come in contact with food and accessible drainage systems.

• Clean water tanks if they have not been used for 48 h; flush the water system connected to a water supply if water has not been drawn for 5 days.
• Store raw meat and fish in suitable containers in the refrigerator, so that it is not in contact with or drip onto other food.
• Two-star frozen-food compartments are suitable for storing pre-frozen food, storing or making ice-cream and making ice cubes.
• One-, two- and three-star compartments are not suitable for the freezing of fresh food.

• If the refrigerating appliance is left empty for long periods, switch off, defrost, clean, dry, and leave the door open to prevent mould developing within the appliance.

• Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable propellant in this appliance.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• This refrigerating appliance is not intended to be used as built-in appliance."

Disposal of waste

To avoid any harm to the environment or human health caused by the uncontrolled disposal of electrical waste, recycle the device responsibly to promote the reuse of material resources. Disposal must be done safely at public collection points provided for this purpose.

Older refrigerators may contain CFCs that destroy the ozone layer; contact your nearest waste treatment center for more details on proper disposal procedures.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Before putting your appliance into service

• Remove all inner and outer packing components
• Check that none of the folling parts are missing.

Before installing the equipment

• Before inserting the device into the power outlet, please check whether the voltage on the equipment nameplate matches the power supply voltage of the enclosure. Different voltages may damage the equipment.
• The power cable plug is used to disconnect the device from the power supply, so it must always be accessible. To turn off the device, turn off the device, and then disconnect the power cord from the power plug.
• The device must be grounded. The manufacturer shall not be responsible for damage caused by ungrounded use of the equipment.

Before you put food in the device

• Remove all packaging materials.
• Allow the unit to operate in vacuum for 2 to 3 hours so that its compartment cools to the appropriate temperature.
• Clean the interior of the equipment with warm water and a small amount of liquid detergent to remove manufacturing residues and dust during transportation.

POWER FAILURE

If there is a power failure, do not open the appliance door. Frozen food should not be affected if the power failure lasts for less than 15 hours.

Do not refreeze frozen foods that have thawed completely. The food may be dangerous to eat.

ADJUSTING THE TEMPERATURE

1. Turn the thermostat button clockwise to the desired position. Position 4 is the coldest temperature, position 1 si the least coldest, and position • turn off the appliance. To completely stop the refrigerator, unplug it from the manis supply.
2. The temperature inside the appliance depends on several factors, such as the room temperature, the quantity of foodstuffs stored, how often the door is opened, etc. Adjust the temperature button accordingly.

Recommended setting : mid-range

MOVING THE REFRIGERATOR.

Do not place the appliance upside down or on its side. While moving, it must not be tiled more than 45 degree.

1. If the appliance has to be moved, first remove all the food and items stored inside, and secure all the accessories inside the refrigerator with adhesive tape.
2. Secure the leveling foot.
3. Slose the door and secure it with adhesive tape.
4. Secure the power cable on the outside of the appliance with scotch to avoid damaging it during transport.

FREEZING AND STORING FOOD IN THE FREEZER

Use the freezer compartment

• To store deep -frozen food.
• To make ice cubes.
• To freeze food

Noted : ensure that the appliance door has been closed properly.

Pruchasing frozen food

• Packing must not be damaged.
• Use by the "use by/ best before/best by" date.
• If possible, transport deep-frozen food in an insulated bag and place quickly in the appliance.

Sotring frozen food

Store at -18 °C or colder. Aovid opening the appliance door unnecessarily.

Freezing fresh food

Freeze fresh and undamaged food only.

To retain the best possible nutritional value, flavour and colour, vegetables should be blanched before freezing. Aubergines, peppers, zucchini and asparagus do not require blanching.

Note : keep food to be frozen away from food which is already frozen.

• The folling foods are suitable for freezing :
  Cakes, and pastries, fish and seafood, meat, game, poultry, vegetables, fruit, herbs, eggs without shells, dairy products such as cheese and butter, ready meals and leftovers such as soups, stew, cooked meat and fish, ptoato dishes, souffles and desserts.

- The following foods are not suitable for freezing :

Types of vegetables, which are usually consumed raw, such as lettuce or radishes, Eggys in shells, grapes, whole apples, pears and peaches, hard-boiled eggs, yoghurt, soured milk, sour cream, and mayonnasie.

Packing frozen food

To prevent food from losing its flavour or drying out, place food in airtight packaging.

1. Place food in packaging.
2. Remove air.
3. Seal the wrapping.
4. Label packaging with contents and dates of freezing.

Suitable packaging:

Plastic film, tubular film made of polyethylene, aluminium foil, freezer containers. These products are available from specialist outlets.

Recommended storage times of frozen food in the freezer drawers

These times vary depending on the type of food. The food that you freeze can be preserved from 1 to 12 months (minimum at -18°C).

Bread, ice cream, sausages, pies, prepared shellfish, oily fish	2 months
Non-oily fish, shellfish, pizza, scones and muffins	3 months
Ham, cakes, biscuits, beef and lamb chops, poultry pieces	4 months
Butter, vegetables (blanched), eggs whole and yolks, cooked crayfish, minced meat (raw), pork (raw)	6 months
Fruit (dry or in syrup), egg whites, beef (raw), whole chicken, lamb (raw), fruit cakes

Never forget:

• When you freeze fresh foods with a 'use by /best before/best by/' date, you must freeze them before the expiry of this date.
• Check that the food was not already frozen. Indeed, frozen food that has thawed completely must not be refrozen
• Once defrosted, food should be consumed quickly

TIPS FOR SAVING ENERGY

For the most energy efficient use of your appliance:

• Ensure your appliance has adequate ventilation as recommended in the installation instructions.
• Allow warm food and drinks to cool down before placing in the appliance.
• Thaw frozen food in the fridge and use the low temperature of the frozen food to cool refrigerated food.
• Keep door openings to a minimum.
• Open the appliance as briefly as possible.
• Ensure that the door is always closed properly.

The combination of drawers that result in the most efficient use of energy for the appliance is the one in original status after you open the package.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Warning! Before cleaning, make sure the appliance is switched off. Always remove the plug from the socket and leave the appliance to cool down before cleaning it.

Warning! Do not use any corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive cleaners, sharp or metal objects to clean the appliance.

EXCLUSIONS OF GUARANTEE:

The guarantee do not cover the normal wear of the product, nor the problems or damages resulting from:

(1) superficial deteriorations due to the normal wear of the product.
(2) defect or deteriorations due to contact with food or liquids and due to the corrosion generated by rust.
(3) any incident, abuse, misuse, modification, disassembly, or unauthorized repairs.
(4) any wrong maintenance operation, use not conforming to the instruction for use of the product and connection to an improper power supply.
(5) any use of not initially provided accessories or approved by the manufacturer.
