CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR PURCHASE OF THE BABY HAMMOCK

Read the instructions for use carefully to ensure correct use. It is important that the baby hammock is installed correctly!

The baby hammock gives your baby a safe place to sleep, as it mimics the time spend inside the mother's womb. The included spring allows the baby hammock to tilt in an upward and downward motion. The movement has a calming effect on many babies, who are usually lulled to sleep by this movement. It has a positive effect on most restless babies who, e.g. are suffering from colic, reflux or babies with general sleep problems.

The baby hammock can be used for babies weighing up to 15 kg. Please note, that the baby hammock must not be used by babies who can kneel, sit or pull themselves up.

WARNING!

Do not use the baby hammock when your baby can sit, kneel or pull himself up • Your baby musts lay and sleep on the back while using the baby hammock. Never place your baby on its side or stomach in the baby hammock • The baby's weight must not exceed 15 kg when placed in the baby hammock • Do not use the baby hammock if there are signs of damage or missing parts • Never leave your baby out of sight when using the baby hammock • Be aware that your baby does not get too hot in the baby hammock • Regularly check the baby hammocks spring for possible wear and rust • Smaller children should not play near the baby hammock without supervision • Be aware that the spring can become metal-weary over time. To ensure optimal performance, we recommend replacing the spring with a new one when you recycle the item or when you purchase a used product • Metal against metal can give off metal dust and metal splinters. Therefore, you must ensure that the spring's fabric bag is mounted over the supplied spring and the small carabiner.

APPLICATION

When the baby hammock is fitted, you should always check that it works as intended before you place your baby in the baby hammock. If everything works as intended, the baby hammock is ready for use and you can lay your baby in the baby hammock.

Place your baby on his/her back in the center of the baby hammock, always make sure that his/her head is not lying down lower than the feet. Be aware that your baby's head is not pressed too much against the chest. It is important that the airways are free. You can place a folded towel under the mattress from the shoulder area down, so that your baby's head is tilted slightly backwards.

The baby lies in the baby hammock in a slight c-curve, which supports natural development. When your baby is +3 months, we recommend that you use our stiffening mattress, which creates more space in the cradle and gives the baby hammock a firmer base.

Please note that the baby hammock is warmer than an ordinary bed. Make sure that your baby is not dressed too warmly and check regularly that your baby does not get too hot in the baby hammock.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

The baby hammock is made of 100% organic cotton and can be hand washed at 30 °C. Avoid washing the baby hammock too often to reduce unwanted wear and tear. Remove the mattress and remove the carabiner and the cross pin before washing.

The mattress can be washed at max. 30 °C. Squeeze out excess water by rolling the mattress in a towel. Lay the mattress horizontally to dry. Remember to turn the mattress during drying. We recommend airing the mattress 2 times a month outside in dry weather.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

First mount the desired suspension (chain, frame bracket, stand, cradle motor).

Mount the included spring in the suspension. Then open up the fabric bag and pull it over the spring so that all the metal parts are covered.

3 Hang the baby hammock at the other end of the spring using the carabiner that is on the baby hammock.

4it the cross pin in the center of the baby hammock and tie the string, as sewn to the sides of the baby hammock, around each end of the cross pin and around the baby hammock. Adjust the position of the cross pin so that it is horizontal and the baby hammock hangs straight.

5inally, place the mattress at the bottom of the baby hammock.

HEIGHT

Before using your baby hammock, it is important to ensure that there is sufficient space between the baby hammock and the floor. You can test this in the following way:

1 Mount your baby hammock as indicated in the assembly.
2 Place an object in the baby hammock that is equivalent to your baby's weight.
3 Now straighten the string as long as possible by pulling down the spring until the safety strap is fully extended. When the safety strap is fully extended, make sure there is enough space between the floor and the baby hammock so that the baby hammock does not touch the floor. Check this regularly.

Review the points below to make sure the baby hammock is used correctly.

Check that the suspension is mounted correctly.

Make sure that there are no signs of damage or defects to the baby hammock or the accompanying accessories.

The cross pin must be mounted correctly and tied firmly to the baby hammock.

There must be sufficient space between the baby hammock and the floor.

Ensure all the carabiners are closed correctly.

Check that there are no elements on the floor under the baby hammock.

Make sure the baby hammock is located in a safe environment.

Ensure that your baby cannot sit, kneel or pull himself up.

Make sure that the baby's weight does not exceed 15 kg.

Check that your baby has free airway (ensure your baby's chin is up and away from their body. Your baby should never be curled so that their chin is forced onto their chest. This can restrict breathing).

Make sure that the baby is not wrapped too hot in the baby hammock (Not too hot or sweaty on the neck).

Ensure that fresh air can float to your baby.
