Unpacking the Appliance
- Remove the appliance from its packaging.
- Remove all packaging material, such as foils, filling material, cable ties and cardboard packaging.
- Check the scope of delivery for completeness.
- If the contents of the packaging are incomplete or if damage can be detected, do not operate the appliance. Return it to the dealer immediately.

Warnings for the Use of the Appliance

WARNING of Electrical Shock!
- Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.
- When the appliance is used in a bathroom, always unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the appliance is switched off.
- The attachments become hot during operation! Risk of burns! Be particularly careful when changing the attachments.
- Make sure that the air inlet grille remains free of fluff or hair. Fire hazard!
- Always place the appliance on a heat-resistant, stable and level surface.
Electrical Connection
- Before inserting the plug into the socket, make sure that the mains voltage to be used matches that of the appliance. You can find this information on the nameplate.
- Connect the appliance to a properly installed earthed socket.
Notes for Use
Assembly/Disassembly of Attachments

WARNING: Risk of Burns!
If you want to change an attachment directly after use, let the appliance cool down first!
Observe the symbols on the appliance and the attachments.
- Select a desired attachment.
-
Attach the attachment so that the arrow ▲ on the appliance and the symbol ☑ on the attachment are aligned.
-
Turn the attachment so that the arrow ▲ points to the symbol ☐ The attachment must audibly engage.
- To release the attachment, press the button (push) on the appliance. Unscrew the attachment and then pull it upwards.
Switch Positions (3)
The appliance has a switch with 4 settings. The labelling and the selected level can be found on the slide switch. You can select the following functions:
0 = off
1 = low temperature
2 = medium temperature
3 = high temperature
Switch Off
After use, move the slide switch to the 0 position. Then pull the mains plug out of the socket.
Operation
Hair Dryer Attachment (5)
Before you start styling the hair, pre-dry the hair until it is almost dry.
Volume Brush (6)
- Brush your hair and separate it into single strands. Start with the lowest section of hair.
- Brush the hair from the roots to the ends until the desired dryness and shape is achieved.
- For volume, direct the bristles outwards.
Round Brush (7)
- Brush your hair and separate it into single strands.
- Twist one hair strand around the brush starting from the tips all the way to the hairline. Keep holding the appliance in that position for several seconds until the desired degree of drying and styling has been achieved.
- Then unwind the hair strand again.
- Blow-dry your hair strand by strand.
Curling Attachments (8 / 9)
Before you start curling your hair, select one of the two attachments. The attachments are labelled with a marking on the tip, L for left curled hair and R for right curled hair.
- Brush your hair and separate it into single strands.
- Place the curling attachment on the tips. The hair is automatically pulled towards the attachment.
- Move the appliance towards your head. Keep holding the appliance in that position for several seconds until the desired degree of drying and styling has been achieved.
- Then unwind the hair strand again.
- Curl your hair strand by strand.
After Use
- Switch off the appliance. Then pull the mains plug out of the socket.
- Let your hair cool down completely before continuing to style it.
- For intense curls, do not brush the hair afterwards. Just use your fingers for styling.
Cleaning

WARNING:
- Before cleaning remove the mains lead from the socked.
- Allow the appliance to cool down completely before cleaning! Risk of burns!
- Under no circumstances should you immerse the appliance in water for cleaning purposes. Otherwise this might result in an electric shock or fire.

CAUTION:
- Do not use a wire brush or any abrasive items.

Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.

Remove any hair left on the attachments after each use.
- Clean the housing and the attachment with a damp cloth, if necessary.
- Allow all parts to dry completely before using them again.
Storage
- Clean the appliance as described. Allow the accessories to dry completely.
• We recommend storing the appliance in its original packaging if you do not intend to use it for a longer period of time.
• Always store the appliance out of the reach of children in a well-ventilated and dry place.
Mains Cable
- The mains cable should only be wound up loosely.
- Never tie the cable tightly round the appliance, as over time this may result in the cable breaking.
- Check the mains cable regularly for damages.
