Please read and keep these important safety instructions.

The following symbol which is found on the product indicates you could be seriously hurt or killed if you open the machine. DO NOT OPEN.

Warning: Do not touch cutters, beware of sharp edges.
Warning: Moving parts hazard, keep hands away from rollers whilst in operation.

The power cord must be connected to a socket-outlet with earthing connection.
- Please read all the safety information and the instructions; the manufacturer is not liable for cases of material damage or personal injury caused by incorrect handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions. In such cases, the warranty will be voided.
- Only use the unit for its intended purpose.
- Do NOT lose the auto-feed chamber with unopened junk mail, magazines, bound documents etc.
- The unit must only be connected to a supply voltage corresponding to the electrical rating shown on the unit.
- Do NOT alter the attachment plug. The plug is configured for the appropriate electrical supply.
- Unit should be connected to a socket outlet near the equipment that is easily accessible. Ensure the cable is not likely to trip up a passer by.
- Do not connect multiple adaptors or use with an extension cable.
- Do not attempt to service or repair the unit yourself. Please return to supplier.
- If recycling, separate paper and credit card shreds.
- Do not use this unit if the cable or plug have been damaged, after it malfunctions, or after it has been damaged in any manner.
- Unplug your shredder before moving it or when it is not in use for an extended period of time.
- Care should be taken when moving equipment to avoid any unlevelled surfaces.
- Lock casters in place, if lock provided.
- Keep power cord away from casters. Casters can damage the power cord. If power cord insulation is damaged, disconnect the plug from the wall socket.
• The device is intended for use indoors. Never use outdoors. - Keep the device away from moisture.
- Be vigilant at all times, and always be careful what you are doing. Do not use electrical equipment if you are lacking in concentration or awareness, or are under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. Even a moment of instantiveness can lead to serious injuries when using electrical equipment.
- Do not attempt to open, modify or repair the device. Do not drop, puncture, break or expose to high pressure.
- Alterations to the device and technical modifications are not permitted.
- Check the device and cable (and if applicable, the adapter) for any damage before use. If there is any visible damage, a strong odour, or excessive overheating of components, unplug all the components immediately and stop using the device.
- Shredder must be disconnected from power source if not used for an extended period of time.
- Do not use spray cleaners or spray lubricants as these may present a risk of flash tire.
- Never bypass the safety interlock (strictly forbidden and dangerous, especially when unit is connected to a power source).
- Do not lean on the shredder door; this may damage the door and will not be covered by your warranty.
- Failure to follow these instructions could result in damage/injury and will invalidate your warranty.
- Although this shredder has been designed to comply with UL 62368 – EN 62368 safety standards including the "probe accessibility tests", do not operate the shredder near children or pets.

Lubrication of the Shredder Maintenance
GSI recommends using an oil sheet after the bin has been. The rollers on the auto-feed mechanism may become dirty.

Insert the oil sheet into the manual feed slot and NOT in maximum product performance
the auto-feed chamber. Using an oil sheet in the auto-feed chamber will contaminate the feed rollers preventing the auto-feed mechanism shredding. Follow the maintenance instructions if the rollers become contaminated.
The auto-start infrared sensor, located in the paper feed entry slot, can occasionally become covered in paper dust causing the shedder to run despite no paper being fed into the machine. Switch the shedder off at the rear of the machine and carefully clean the sensor using a cotton-swah.
Limited Warranty
Culler warranties vary by model. Limited 2 year warranty on the shredder unit.

Shrockers are free from defects in workmanship and material under normal use and service for a period of 2 years after purchase and all other parts are free from defects in workmanship and material under normal use and service for a period of 2 years after purchase.
ACCO Brands' obligation under this warranty is limited to replacement or repair, at ACCO Brands' option, of any warranted part found defective by ACCO Brands without charge for mineral or labor. Any replacement, at ACCO Brands' option, may be the same product or a substantially similar product that may contain manufactured or refurbished parts. This warranty shall be sold in the following circumstances:
(i) If the product has been missed,
(ii) If the product has been damaged by negligence or accident, or
(iii) if the product has been altered by anyone other than ACCO Brands or ACCO Brands' authorized agents.
