How to change the input source on the VEO-XWT44E?

Press the SOURCE/AUTO button on the front panel to cycle to the next input (HDMI 1 > HDMI 2 > USB-C). Hold it for 3 seconds to enable automatic switching. You can also use RS-232 commands #SET_AV (H1, H2, C).

How to turn the display on/off using the DISPLAY ON/OFF button?

Press the DISPLAY ON/OFF button (blue backlit). It automatically sends a CEC and RS-232 command (if programmed). You can program this button via IR learning or RS-232 command to send custom commands (see sections 11.1 and 11.2 of the manual).

What is the maximum HDBaseT transmission range?

With a CAT 5e/6 cable, the range is 40 meters in 4K (4K@60Hz 4:4:4) and 70 meters in Full HD (1080p). Shielded cables are recommended to ensure performance.

How to power the VEO-XWT44E transmitter?

You can use the supplied 24 V DC power adapter (on the DC IN port) or use the PoC (Power over Cable) function: if the connected receiver supports PoC, the transmitter can be powered via the HDBaseT cable. PoC is bidirectional.

1. Hold the DISPLAY ON/OFF button for 5 seconds until the SOURCE/AUTO button blinks. 2. Briefly press DISPLAY ON/OFF to choose the mode (steady ON or blinking OFF). 3. Point the remote at the IR sensor and press the desired key. Both buttons light for 3 seconds to confirm. 4. Hold DISPLAY ON/OFF again for 5 seconds to exit.

How to reset the device to factory defaults?

Use the RS-232 command #FACTORY_RESET. You can also press the recessed RESET button on the front panel to restart the unit (but this does not reset settings).

How to manage EDID if the display is not showing correctly?

Use RS-232 commands like #SET_EDID_MODE followed by a number (0 to 9) to force a resolution. For example, for 4K@30Hz stereo (default): #SET_EDID_MODE 3. See section 10.4 of the manual for the full list.
