How to insert the SIM card?

Use the provided tool to eject the SIM tray. Insert the Nano SIM card with gold contacts facing up, then close the tray. The device also supports eSIM.

Is the phone water resistant?

Yes, it is IP68 certified, resistant to immersion up to 1.5 meters of fresh water for 30 minutes. Avoid pressurized water and other liquids.

How to charge wirelessly?

Place the phone on a Qi-certified wireless charger (sold separately). The charging area is on the back of the device.

How to check the SAR?

Dial *#07# on the keypad or go to Settings > Search 'Regulatory labels'.

What is the maximum charging power?

The maximum wired charging is 68 W with a compatible USB-C Power Delivery charger (sold separately). Qi wireless charging is also supported.

Can I use a 3.5 mm headset?

Yes, with a USB-C to 3.5 mm jack adapter (sold separately). The USB-C port is used for both charging and audio.

How to turn off the phone?

Press and hold the Power and Volume Up buttons simultaneously until the phone turns off.

What to do if the screen is unresponsive?

Press and hold the Power button until the screen turns off and the phone restarts. This forces a restart.

Is the phone 5G compatible?

Before using your phone, please read the legal, safety and regulatory information provided with your product.

Caution: screen protectors may reduce your phone's touchscreen sensitivity. Do not use screen protectors thicker than 0.5mm.

^1 Use a headset: to use a headset, you'll need one with a USB-C connector. If you're using a 3.5mm headset, you'll need an adapter to connect a 3.5mm connector to USB-C. Headset and adapter may be sold separately.

Water, splash and dust resistance. Water, splash and dust resistance were tested to IP68 standards under controlled laboratory conditions. Withstands immersion in up to 1.5 metres of fresh water for up to 30 minutes. Resistance will decrease as a result of normal wear. Not designed to work while submerged underwater. Do not expose to pressurised water or liquids other than fresh water. Do not attempt to charge a wet phone. Not waterproof. Put in the card and power on

1 Insert the SIM tool into the hole next to the SIM card tray to pop out the tray.

Make sure you use the correct size of SIM card and don't cut the SIM card.

2 Insert the SIM card with the gold contacts up, then gently push the tray into the slot.

eSIM option: your phone may support an eSIM (embedded SIM card) in addition to the physical SIM card. Contact your service provider for details if you want to activate and use it.

Connect with 5G: 5G service plan and 5G network coverage required; available only in selected areas; device not compatible with all 5G networks. Contact your service provider for details.

3 Press and hold the power button ⏻ to turn on your phone, then follow the prompts to get started.

To turn off your phone, press the power and volume up buttons ⏻ + ⏻+ at the same time.

This device passed testing against the US Department of Defense's MIL-STD-810H standard, which establishes a methodology for testing products against environmental stresses under controlled laboratory conditions. Charging and battery safety. To prevent possible burning and injury, the battery in your phone should only be removed by a Motorola-approved service centre or similar skilled personnel. If your phone becomes unresponsive, press and hold the power button until the screen goes dark and your phone restarts.

The phone is PD (Power Delivery) capable. For the fastest charging speeds, charge your phone using a Motorola 68W or higher USB-C PD charger (may be sold separately) with the included PD cable. Use of other chargers is not recommended and may impair the charging performance. The power delivered by the charger must be between the min 5 Watts required by the radio equipment and the max 68 Watts to achieve the fastest charging speed. Chargers that do not comply with applicable national standards may be unsafe, with risk of death or injury, and may cause slow charging or product damage. Don't charge your phone in temperatures below -20°C or above 45°C. Warning about high volume usage. To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume levels for long periods. When your headset volume reaches the high volume threshold, a warning will be shown. Tap OK to dismiss it, or wait one to five seconds, then press the volume up button to dismiss the alert and enable the volume to continue to be adjusted.

Extreme heat or cold. Don't use your phone in temperatures below -20°C or above 45°C. Don't store/transport your phone in temperatures below -20°C or above 60°C.
