RECETAS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must never play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must never be carried out by children without supervision.

2. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

3. Keep the appliance and the cable cord out of the reach of children less than 8 years old.

4. WARNING: In order to ensure your children's safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.

5. If the supply cord is damaged it must be repaired by the Authorized Service Agent.

6. Never pull on the cord when unplugging.

7. Do not use the unit with a damaged cord or plug, or if it is not working properly.

8. Do not handle the appliance with wet hands.

9. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.

10. Make sure the appliance has been unplugged before cleaning.
11. This appliance must be installed following the national regulations for electrical installations.
12. This appliance is for household use only.

14. WARNING: In case of misuse, there is a risk of possible injury.

Important safeguards:

• This appliance can be used by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazard involved.
  • Children must not play with the appliance.
  • Always disconnect the power if left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
• Disconnect the appliance and unplug from power supply if machine is left unattended, of before changing the accessories or nearest parts that move when machine is used, assembled, disassembled or during cleaning,

- Always use the blender on a flat, level work surface. Never insert metal utensils, such as knives or forks, into the inside of the jug while the appliance is operating.

- The use of accessories not supplied by the manufacturer may cause accidents.

- Never try to fit or remove the jug on the blender while the appliance is still running.

- Do not open the lid on the blender until the motor has stopped.

- The appliance is at risk for injury in the event of misuse. Care should be taken when handling the cutting blades when the glass is empty and during cleaning.

- Do not use the blender more than 3 non-stop minutes. Alternate 3 minutes working with 1 minute stopped.

- This appliance cannot be used by children. Keep the appliancie and its cord out of reach of children

- Avoid contacting moving parts.

- Do not operate this appliance when it is malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner.

- Do not use outdoors.

- Do not let cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch hot surfaces, including the stove.

- Keep hands and utensils out of container while blending to reduce the risk of severe personal injury and/or

damage to blender. A rubber spatula may be used but must be used only when blender is not running.

- Do not use a broken, chipped or cracked blender jar.

- Do not use broken, cracked or loose cutting blades.

- Cutting blades are sharp .Handle carefully.

• Always operate blender with cover in place.

- If the jar turns when the motor is switched ON, switch OFF immediately and tighten jar assembly. Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by or taking off part and before cleaning.

- Do not use your fingers to press the food, always use the plunger.

- Do not place blender filled with food or liquid in the freezer. This will freeze and damage the blade assembly, jar and motor.

BEFORE FIRST USE

1. Please read all instructions carefully and keep for future reference.
2. Remove all packaging.
3. Place the carafe on the base and clean it following the instructions in the CLEANING section. Dry it and reassemble it.
4. Clean the base with a soft cloth. Do not immerse the base in water or other liquid. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

GENERAL USE

1. Place the mixer on a clean, flat, dry and stable surface.
2. NEVER start the blender when the jar is empty.
3. Add ingredients to jar and secure lid before placing jar on base. Unless the directions say otherwise, add the liquid ingredients first, then the solids. Always add ice and large, hard ingredients last. Make sure the cap is closed by turning it clockwise. ATTENTION: when adding hot liquids be careful not to splash and leave it in the jug without the lid for a few minutes to allow the steam to escape.
4. Plug the mixer into an earthed socket. NEVER attempt to place carafe on or remove carafe from base while motor is running.
5. Turn mixer on and slowly increase speed to desired speed. The jar may move a little while the motor is running. Let the mixer run until the preparation reaches the desired consistency.
6. If the contents do not move, DO NOT MOVE the jar while the motor is running. Use the PULSE function or the mixer stick:
7. Activate the PULSE function as many times as necessary
8. Remove the cap and insert the stick through the hole in the cap. Hold the jar with one hand while with the other you use the pusher to unlock the contents of the jar.
9. If this doesn't work, turn the power button OFF to stop it. Once the blades have stopped, remove the jug from the base and stir the contents with a rubber spatula. Replace the jug on the base and put the lid and stopper back in place to reconnect the blender.
10. When you are done, turn the power button to the OFF position. ATTENTION: the blades can cause severe injuries. Before removing the jug or emptying it, wait until the blades stop.
11. Unplug from power and remove carafe from base. ATTENTION: the motor gear, blade nut and blades may be very hot after use, do not touch them and wait for them to cool down.

BLENDING DRY INGREDIENTS

• Always review all the general use instruction above.
• DO NOT operate the blender continuously for more than 90 seconds when processing dry ingredients.
• When chopping nuts or other dry mixtures, ensure even chopping by adding more than enough ingredients to cover the blades.

USE OF THE BLENDER WITH HOT LIQUIDS

• Always review the general use section when using the mixer.
• WARNING: be careful when filling the carafe with hot liquids, you could burn yourself from the splashes.

• Let the hot liquids sit in the jar uncovered for a while, allowing the steam to escape, before beginning to blend.

• Before placing the carafe on the base, make sure the stopper is securely seated in the lid and place it firmly on the carafe. NEVER add ingredients while mixing hot liquids.

• Use extreme caution when moving the carafe with hot liquids.
• Place the jug on the base and connect the blender with the power button. Slowly increase speed until desired. Wait until it acquires the necessary consistency.
• When you remove the carafe from the base, open the cap or lid carefully, hot steam may escape. Be careful the lid may be hot.

PRESETTED PROGRAMS

ICE CRUSH Ice crush function: The blender works automatically for 40 seconds, making speed variations to achieve the optimal result. Just add the ice cubes in the jug and select this program.

With this mode you can remove food remains from the jug more easily. Add a few drops of dish soap and up to half the carafe of water. Do not forget to put the lid of the jug and the stopper, press this program and wait the 40 seconds that it lasts. At the end you will only have to do a quick review to remove any remains that may have remained and rinse the jug.

SMOOTHIE Create your favorite shakes in just 1 minute. Add your favorite ingredients and select this program. The blender will work at intervals to get the best result.

With this mode you can make creams and purees without lumps and only in 3 minutes. Add the food to the jug, if they are hot, wait for them to cool down a bit to avoid burns, and select this mode.

Get all the flavor of your favorite fruits with this function. Add the fruits and vegetables you want and press this program. The mixer will work varying the speed for 90 seconds.

HELPFUL HINTS

• When the blender is running you can add ingredients through the filler cap, being careful, except in the case of hot liquids that could splash and cause burns.
• To crush ice, put the ice cubes in the jug. Place the lid and the jar on the base. Select the pre-set ICE CRUSH program or activate the PULSE button several times until you achieve the necessary consistency.

CARE AND CLEANING

Before first and after each use, clean it following these instructions.

• Jar, lid and tamper cleaning

1. Unplug the mixer.
2. Remove the carafe from the base and empty it completely. Rinse it with lukewarm water.
3. Add two drops of liquid dishwashing detergent and up to half the carafe of warm water.
4. Close the jug tightly with the lid and place it on the base.
5. With the power button turned OFF, plug in the mixer.
6. Put the power button in the ON position and select the SELF CLEAN program and wait until it ends.
7. Turn the power button to the OFF position and unplug the mixer.
8. Remove the carafe from the base, empty it and rinse it with clear water and wipe all the soap.
9. Clean the pusher, cap, and filler plug with warm, soapy water.
10. Dry the jug and the rest of the accessories with a soft cloth, place them on the base and you can store them away.

ATTENTION: be very careful when disassembling the jug with the blades, they are very sharp..

- Base cleaning

1. Unplug the mixer. Clean the base case with a damp cloth with a little detergent. Take care that no liquid gets inside the motor. Do not use abrasive materials or products.
2. Remove the carafe support, clean it with soapy water, rinse with water and dry it before putting it back on the base.
3. Clean the blender base with a soft cloth. If necessary add a drop of detergent to the cloth
4. When the power, press and speed control buttons get sticky, clean them with a cotton swab and liquid detergent. Dry them immediately..

Blades cleaning

1. Remove the blades with provided tool. Snap the hooks into the nut's holes; hold the jar with the other hand and turn the nut clockwise with the tool.

2. Grasp the blades carefully, they are very sharp. Clean them and put them back into position.

3. Tighten the nut with the tool turning to the left. Make sure that it is tightly tightened to prevent the blades dismounting and that the jar loses liquid.

RECIPES

Chocolate Banana Milkshake

Preparation ingredients:

1 banana

400 ml cold milk

2-3 tablespoons of chocolate syrup

4 scoops of chocolate ice cream

Preparation:

Peel the banana, cut it into small pieces and put them in the jug, also add the milk, the chocolate syrup and the ice cream and select the SMOOTHIE program.

Watermelon Gazpacho

Preparation ingredients:

250 g watermelon (peeled and seedless)

250 g ripe tomato

1 Italian green pepper

1 clove garlic

100 g stale bread

Water

Salt

15 ml Vinegar of Modena

30 ml Extra virgin olive oil

Preparation:

1. Wash and cut tomatoes and pepper into pieces, add to blender.
2. Add peeled and degerminated garlic, crush to homogenize.
3. Soak and drain pieces of bread, mix with watermelon and vinegar in the blender.
4. Season, add olive oil and blend to emulsify.
5. Adjust consistency with water and filter if necessary.
6. Chill in the fridge before serving.

Blackberry and Banana Smoothie

Preparation ingredients:

200g blackberries (frozen or fresh)

100g banana

500 ml of skimmed milk

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon honey

Preparation:

Put the milk, buttermilk and lemon juice in the blender jar. Next, add the blackberries, honey and banana. Shred everything.

Strawberry milkshake

Preparation ingredients:

150g strawberries (frozen or fresh)
400ml cold milk
3 tablespoons of cream
2 tablespoons of sugar

Preparation:

Put the cream, milk and sugar in the blender jug and then add the strawberries. If using frozen strawberries, allow them to thaw briefly. Shred everything.

Preparation ingredients:

1 ripe banana

240g frozen berries (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries)

120ml plain yogurt

120 ml of milk (can be almond milk, cow'smilk, etc.)

15 ml of honey (optional, to sweeten)

A handful of baby spinach (optional, for a nutrient boost.

Preparation:

1. Peel and cut the banana into pieces.
2. Place the banana, the frozen berries, the natural yogurt and the milk in the blender jar.
3. For a healthier twist, add a handful of washed baby spinach.

4. Optionally, to sweeten, add 15 ml of honey.

5. Close the lid of the blender and make sure it is firmly seated.

6. Select "SMOOTHIE" mode

7. Wait until the "SMOOTHIE" mode cycle is complete and the blender stops automatically.

8. Open the lid carefully and check that the mixture is smooth and well combined. If necessary, use a spatula to scrape down the sides to make sure there are no unmixed bits.

9. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more honey and mixing briefly.

10. Pour the smoothie into glasses and enjoy immediately. Optionally, you can decorate with some fresh red fruits.
