How to install the HK-1600 cash register?

Plug the power cord into a grounded outlet. Connect the cash drawer and peripherals (printer, scanner) to the appropriate ports. Turn on the device using the power switch. Follow the on-screen instructions for initial setup.

What to do if the screen is black?

Check that the power cord is properly plugged in and that the outlet works. Ensure the power switch is turned on. If the problem persists, contact your dealer.

How to clean the cash register?

Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior. Never use liquid products, aerosols, or abrasive cloths. For the screen, use a slightly damp microfiber cloth (wring it out well).

Can I replace the battery myself?

No. The battery is lithium and replacing it with an incorrect type poses an explosion risk. Only an authorized technician can replace the battery. Please contact your dealer.

Why is my warranty void?

The warranty automatically ends if the machine is opened by someone other than authorized technicians. It is also void if the usage instructions are not followed. Consult your dealer for any issues.

Can I use the HK-1600 outdoors?

No. The HK series is not designed to operate under direct sunlight, whether indoors or outdoors. Use it only indoors, away from sunlight.

How to print an end-of-day report?

Access the reports menu from the touch screen. Select 'End-of-day report' or 'Z Report'. Confirm to start printing. Ensure the thermal paper roll is properly installed.

What to do in case of a paper jam?

Turn off the device. Open the printer cover. Gently remove the jammed paper. Replace the roll and close the cover. Turn on again. If the problem persists, contact support.

Does the cash register have network connectivity?

Yes, the HK-1600 is equipped with an Ethernet port for network connection. You can also use USB ports for peripherals. Refer to the manual for detailed network setup.

How should I dispose of the used battery?

The lithium battery must be disposed of in accordance with local waste disposal regulations. Do not throw it in the household trash. Take it to an approved collection point.

AVERTISSEMENT DE BATTERIE

1. Place the main stand vertically on the ground (upside down) and align the main base plate, please see picture below. Next, insert the four M5-10L flat head screws into the screw holes and tighten down. This will affix the main base plate to the main stand.

1. After installing the main base plate, stand the main stand up.

1. Fix the countertop plate onto the stand, and then fix it with four M5-8L screws.

1. (1) Turn the bottom side of the countertop unit face to you.

(2) Remove the seven screws and rubber feet.

1. Carefully put the HK system unit on the pedestal, and remember to pass the cable through the cable exit on the countertop plate. Fix the HK system to the pedestal with seven #6/32 screws from bottom to top.
