No, the ZBWS20RD requires a Zigbee gateway to operate wirelessly. Without a gateway, it cannot be controlled remotely or via the app.

How to connect the module to the Nedis SmartLife app?

Download the Nedis SmartLife app on your smartphone. Open the app, create an account, add a device and follow the instructions. Make sure the gateway is connected and the module is in pairing mode.

What to do if the module does not respond or does not turn on?

First check the power supply and connections. Reset the module by pressing and holding the physical button (see manual). Make sure the gateway is on and within range.

Is this switch compatible with Alexa or Google Home?

Yes, via the Nedis SmartLife app which can be linked to Alexa and Google Assistant. You can then control the module by voice command.

Can I use the ZBWS20RD outdoors?

No, the module is designed for indoor use only. Do not expose it to water, humidity or extreme temperatures.
