Operating Safety Precautions

  1. Always be sure the feet of the Warming Tray are resting on a table or countertop. Using the appliance upside down may cause fire or burns.
  2. DO NOT use plastic dishes or plastic wrap on Warming Tray.

Instructions for the Electrical Cord and Plug

  1. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.

  2. A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled or tripping over a long cord.

  3. If a long detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used:

  4. Extension cords can be used if care is exercised in their use.

  5. The marked electrical rating of the cord or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.

Great for any special event, this 3-section buffet-style food server is perfect for entertaining large group in style. Featuring three 2.5-quart stainless steel trays, the stainless steel base doubles as a warming tray. An adjustable heat control allows food to stay at the perfect temperature, while the stay-cool handles make moving easy.

HOW TO OPERATE

  1. Assemble unit as shown under PARTS & ASSEMBLY. Plug unit into an electrical outlet, which will illuminate the Indicator Light.
  2. Place food into each one of the trays.
  3. Adjust the Temperature Control Knob to desired heat for your food contents. Choose temperature settings:

Low temperature is 130^ - 150^ Fahrenheit
Middle temperature is 150^ - 165^ Fahrenheit
High temperature is 165^ - 185^ Fahrenheit

  1. The food trays can keep foods hot for a long period of time, but it is not recommended to exceed 3 to 4 hours. After that point, the foods begin to dry out and/or the flavor begins to change.
  2. Do not leave food in trays. Remove food and liquid for easy clean up and preparation for next use.
  3. Allow the unit to cool down before putting on or taking off parts for cleaning.

WARMING TRAY

  1. Remove the Frame, Cooking Pans and Lids, and then set the Warming Tray on a table or countertop.

NOTE: Be sure the feet of the Warming Tray are resting on a table or countertop. Fire hazard or burns may occur if unit is used upside down.

  1. Plug unit into an electrical outlet, which will illuminate the Indicator Light.
  2. Adjust the Temperature Control Knob to desired heat for your food contents. Choose temperature settings:

Low temperature is 130^ - 150^ Fahrenheit
Middle temperature is 150^ - 165^ Fahrenheit
High temperature is 165^ - 185^ Fahrenheit

  1. Place your vessels of food directly on the surface of the warming tray for warming. It is not recommended to warm foods in exceed of 3 to 4 hours. After that point, the foods begin to dry out and/or the flavor begins to change.

NOTE: Do not place the Lids or any other non-heat proof items directly on the hot surface of the warming tray.

  1. Unplug unit from electrical outlet when not in use.

HELPFUL TIPS

NEVER leave the unit unattended while operating.

SMOKING

During first use, you may notice slight smoking or a slight odor; this is normal with most new appliances. Allow the appliance to preheat until smoke and odor no longer exists.

SERVING TEMPERATURE

For best results, use the unit at the maximum temperature setting to quickly reach the desired temperature, then adjust the Temperature Control Knob. Serving temperature is from 140^ minimum - 165^ maximum (60°C minimum - 75°C maximum).

All foods have different consistencies so depending on what is being served, you may need to adjust the temperature lower or higher to maintain a minimum temperature of 140^ (60^)

It is recommended to periodically check the temperature of food with a food thermometer while serving.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

Please take care of your 3-STATION STAINLESS STEEL BUFFET SERVER & WARMING TRAY by following these simple instructions and precautions.

  • Allow the unit to cool completely, then remove the Cooking Pans, Lids and Frame. These items can be submerged in soapy water. Rinse well and wipe dry.
  • Wipe the Warming Tray base unit with a dry, non-abrasive cloth or sponge to remove food and liquid, preparing your buffet for the next use.
    NEVER use an abrasive sponge, cloth or scouring pad on this unit as it will damage the stainless steel construction.
    NEVER place any parts in the dishwasher. Always wash by hand.
  • If there is any breakdown or damage, the appliance must be repaired by authorized technicians. Non-authorized technicians are not permitted to dismantle the appliance.

RECIPES

With the 3-STATION STAINLESS STEEL BUFFET SERVER & WARMING TRAY you can enjoy a variety of meals and serve guests with style! Here are some great ideas for ways you can use your 3-STATION STAINLESS STEEL BUFFET SERVER & WARMING TRAY:

- DESSERT BAR

Place your choice of ice cream in each of the three covered trays and place over ice. Place hot fudge, caramel and strawberry toppings inside of oven-safe bowls and place bowls on the Warming Tray to keep warm.

THEMED PARTY FOODS

Have a taco night or nacho night and fill each station of the Buffet with hot toppings and fillings like refried beans, rice, meat or nacho cheese. Alternately, you can take out the stations of the Buffet and fill with cold ingredients like sour cream, salsa and guacamole and then put hot ingredients in oven-safe bowls and place on the Warming Tray to keep warm.

For fun finger foods, put cold finger foods like cut up vegetables and fruit in the stations of the Buffet and put hot finger foods like egg rolls and sausages in bowls or oven-safe dishes and place on Warming Tray to keep warm.

With a little imagination, you can come up with special uses for your buffet. Be creative and enjoy!
