How to assemble the Proctor Silex 66340 citrus juicer?

Place the pitcher into the base and turn it clockwise to lock it. Assemble the two pieces of the pulp control basket and place them on the central shaft. Choose the reamer suitable for the fruit size and place it in the basket.

How to adjust the amount of pulp in the juice?

Slide the pulp control dial located on the basket. Slide to the right for less pulp, to the left for more pulp. You can also use the appliance without the basket, but the juice will then contain all the pulp and seeds.

What fruits can I juice with this extractor?

This juicer is designed for citrus fruits: oranges, lemons, limes, and grapefruits. For best results, use fruits at room temperature and roll them on the counter before cutting.

How to clean the appliance?

Unplug the appliance. Remove the lid, reamer, and pulp control basket. Unlock the pitcher by turning it counterclockwise. The lid, reamers, basket, and pitcher can be washed in warm soapy water or on the top rack of the dishwasher. Wipe the base with a damp cloth. Never immerse the base or cord.

What to do if the appliance does not turn on?

Check that the appliance is plugged into a functioning electrical outlet. Make sure the pitcher is properly locked onto the base. The appliance only works when you apply pressure on the reamer with a fruit; it stops automatically when you lift the fruit.

How to Use

1. Unplug.

2. Place Pitcher onto Base. Hold Base and turn Pitcher clockwise to lock. Pitcher will stop when locked.

3. Fit two parts of Pulp Control Basket together. Place onto Center Shaft of Juicer, aligning handle of Pulp Control Basket with handle of Pitcher.

4. Snap Small Reamer onto Pulp Control Basket. If juicing large fruit (oranges, grapefruit), fit Large Reamer directly on top of Small Reamer.

NOTE: Always select size of Reamer based on size of fruit to be juiced.

1. Slide Pulp Control Dial to select desired amount of pulp.

NOTE: If Reamer is used without Pulp Control Basket, juice will contain pulp and seeds.

1. Plug into outlet.

2. Push down on Reamer with halved fruit to start juicing action. Lift fruit up off Reamer and Juicer stops. This Juicer is designed with an auto-reverse. It automatically reverses direction from time to time to make juicing easier.

3. When finished juicing, unplug from outlet, then remove Reamer (and Pulp Control Basket, if used).

4. To unlock Pitcher, hold Base and turn Pitcher counterclockwise. Remove Pulp Control Basket and pour juice. Store unused juice in Pitcher in refrigerator with Pulp Control Basket and Lid.

Tips for Best Results

• This Juicer is designed to juice citrus fruit such as oranges, lemons, limes, and grapefruit.
• For maximum juice, fruit should be at room temperature.

- Before juicing, roll fruit between countertop and palm of your hand. Slice fruit in half, cutting across sections.

Care and Cleaning

⚠ WARNING Electrical Shock Hazard. Disconnect power before cleaning. Do not immerse cord, plug, or base in any liquid.

1. Unplug.
2. Lift Lid, Reamer and Pulp Control Basket.
3. To unlock Pitcher, hold Base and turn Pitcher counterclockwise.
4. Lift Pitcher to remove.
5. Press down on Pulp Control Dial and gently separate parts of Pulp Control Basket.
6. Lid, Reamers, Pulp Control Basket, and Pitcher may be washed in hot, soapy water or in TOP rack of a dishwasher.

7. Wipe Base with a damp cloth.

8. Wrap cord around Cord Storage. NOTE: All parts t together for easy storage. See Parts and Features on page 4.

Limited Warranty

This warranty applies to products purchased and used in the U.S. and Canada. This is the only express warranty for this product and is in lieu of any other warranty or condition.

This product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of three (3) years from the date of original purchase. During this period, your exclusive remedy is replacement of this product or any component found to be defective, at our option; however, you are responsible for all costs associated with our returning a product or component under this warranty to you. If the product or component is unavailable, we will replace with a similar one of equal or greater value.

This warranty does not cover glass, filters, wear from normal use, use not in conformity with the printed directions, or damage to the product resulting from accident, alteration, abuse, or misuse. This warranty extends only to the original consumer purchaser or gift recipient. Keep the original sales receipt, as proof of purchase is required to make a warranty claim. This warranty is void if the product is used for other than single-family household use or subjected to any voltage and waveform other than as specified on the rating label (e.g., 120 V \~ 60 Hz).
