Important safety guidelines for this device

- The fan, rotational switch and switches should not be blocked! It is not allowed to remove the cage for cleaning purposes once the fan is mounted.
- Never insert your body parts (e.g. fingers) or objects through the protective cage.

Ensure that your hair is not within the range of the protective cage as it may get caught in the air current.

If the power cable of this device is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer, his after-sales service personnel or by an equally qualified person, so as to prevent any risk.
- Allow cooling before cleaning or removing the plug from the wall outlet.
- Wipe the device with a damp soft cloth and a gentle cleansing agent. Allow them to dry completely on a clean, dry and absorbent surface.
• After the fan has been put together, the protective grille may not be removed.

3. Functions
The Brandon table fan has a powerful motor and 25 cm rotor blades which ensure optimum ventilation even on hot days.
Thanks to the three speed levels, adjustable angle of inclination and oscillation, you can adapt the fan to your individual requirements.

5. Assembly
Take the table fan out of the package and check the device as well as the scope of delivery mentioned in the table above. Please contact the vendor if any part is missing or damaged.
At first, remove the pre-assembled protective cage locking screws (5) from the motor unit (11). Now place the rear protective cage (6) on the fan unit (8). Make sure that the handle (7) is facing up. Tighten the protective cage firmly using the mounting nut (5). Then insert the rotor blade (3) on the motor shaft (8) and fix it with the appropriate fixing screw (4) sidewise of the rotor blade.
Caution: Make sure that the notch of the motor shaft (8) is in the correct position.
Mount the front protective cage (1) onto the rear protective cage. A hole is provided for the locking screw at the bottom of the two protective cages.
Insert the locking screw through the hole of the front and rear guards and fasten it. Then press the protective cage - fixing bracket (2) over both grids.
Now remove the fixing screw (18) and the shim (17) from the stand pipe (19) of the fan. Then you can place the basis (12) in the centre of the stand pipe (19) and fix it using the shim (17) and the fixing screw (18). The table fan is ready for use.
6. Usage
Keep the fan in an appropriate location and connect the device to a properly installed 220-240V AC socket.

To be able to change the angle of inclination, slightly loosen the two screws 13 + 16. By tilting the protective cage, you can adjust the angle of inclination. Then tighten the screws 13 + 16 again, please. Push the button (10) at the top of the motor unit (11) to enable the oscillation. If you do not want to use the oscillation function, pull the button out slightly.
With the rotary switch on the motor unit the device can be switched on. Or you can choose between different speed levels from Level 1 (slow) to Level 3 (fast). The switch position 0 puts the device into the off mode.
7. Cleaning
Pull out the power plug from the socket before starting with the cleaning process! Use a slightly damp cloth for cleaning. The device should not be immersed in water for cleaning under any circumstances. This could lead to electric shock or fire!
8. Safety instructions and liability disclaimer
Never try to open the device to carry out repairs or conversions. Avoid contact with mains voltages. Do not short-circuit the product. The device is not certified for use in the open air; only use it in dry conditions. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Keep it away from high temperatures. Do not subject the device to sudden changes in temperature or heavy vibration as this might damage electronic components. Examine the device for damage before using it. The unit should not be used if it has received an impact or has been damaged in any other way. Please observe national regulations and restrictions. Do not use the device for purposes other than those described in the instructions. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally impaired persons. Any repair
or alteration to the device not carried out by the original supplier, will invalidate the warranty or guarantee. The product may only be used by persons who have read and understood these instructions. The device specifications may change without any separate prior notice to this effect.
9. Disposal Instructions
The European Directive (WEEE) requires that old electrical and electronic appliances shall be disposed of separately from normal household garbage for optimal recycling. The component parts must be separated, collected and sent for recycling or disposal in an environment-friendly manner. Otherwise, toxic and dangerous substances could cause enduring damage to the environment if disposed of incorrectly.
